Why does a completed tire mount and balance require an overnight 6-mile road test? Be cautious when leaving your vehicle here for service. I brought my brand-new vehicle in on a Wednesday to have a set of aftermarket wheels and tires mounted and balanced. I had originally requested an alignment as well, but the alignment was removed from my final bill and not performed. Later that Wednesday, the shop called to tell me the work was complete. They sent me photos and a video showing the minor tire rub at full steering lock, which I had already discussed with them and accepted. They told me the vehicle was finished and ready for pickup. Because I was unavailable that evening, I let them know I would pick it up the following morning. That evening, I checked my vehicle's connected app and the odometer showed 7,326 miles, consistent with what I expected after the installation and initial check. However, when I checked the app again the next morning before heading to the shop, the odometer had increased to 7,332 miles. When I arrived, the "Odometer Out" field on the paperwork had been left blank. I asked what mileage had been recorded when the technician completed the work, and I was verbally told 7,326 miles, which perfectly matched what my app had shown the previous evening. When I pointed out that the truck now actually displayed 7,332 miles, the paperwork was changed in front of me to reflect the higher mileage. The employee even noted on the invoice: "Previously 7326 on the system." Because there had been an additional 6 miles driven after I had already been told the vehicle was complete and documented on video, and because the paperwork was changed only after I questioned it, I requested that my concern be documented on the invoice before I accepted the vehicle. The final invoice now includes the note: "CONCERN OF 6 MILE TEST DRIVE AND NOT INPUT AT TIME OF CHECK OUT." My concern is straightforward: if the vehicle was already completed, documented with photos and video, and verbally recorded at 7,326 miles on Wednesday, why was it driven an additional 6 miles before I picked it up, and why wasn't that mileage documented or communicated beforehand? Checking for full-lock steering clearance on a new wheel and tire package is done while stationary or moving at low speeds in a parking lot--it does not require an undocumented 6-mile drive on public roads after the job is already declared finished. I spent more than $3,000 on this installation. The additional mileage itself is not my primary concern--it's the lack of communication, the unrecorded vehicle use, and the inconsistency in the mileage records. DON'T DO IT! I don't normally write reviews but rest assured that this one is justified. I walk in on Saturday, 2/28, maybe 2 other customers at the time. I'm scouting out what I had done research on and up comes Luis. Don't get me wrong he was pretty helpful in general but the whole process was, let's say, off-putting.... To set the stage: I have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L I4, running 265/70R17's. I have never had any experience lifting cars/trucks, so I'm expecting to use my knowledge from what I've researched as a baseline and go off of the "experts" recommendations. We get to chatting, I tell him the type of truck I had, what I was looking to do to it, we went out and looked at my current setup, no issues there. Then I start talking about the parts (see picture) and he is building out a quote for me. I tell him about the lift I was thinking about and going over other options (the typical upsell opportunities) and that I wanted to try some pizza cutter style tires as I had seen some pretty positive reviews on that style setup and for my application I thought it would make sense. My truck already doesn't have a ton of power, I hardly go off-road and I like the idea of cutting through any rain/snow when driving up to big bear/mammoth/etc. Luis repeats himself multiple times saying things like "oh that setup doesn't look good at all" or "you're better off going with a wider tire so it looks more aggressive". Meanwhile I'm just standing there shaking my head and trying to be considerate. He gets off his soap box and says "we can do those tires if you want" and proceeds to talk numbers with me. Now remember, I had done arguably too much research so I had a rough cost estimate in my head. - Tires about $1230 - Bilstein suspension about $430 - OME Coils about $250 - 2" block about $80 Ok that is about $2000, great! TELL ME WHY HE SAYS, "THAT WILL BE BALLPARK $3800"!!!!! I nearly broke out into laughter... When I asked him to see the numbers, he was like "oh we don't do that"??? We don't do what?? Disclose how much we are shafting our customers. At least show me what I'm being charged for. I get that this is not an easy job which is why I'm not doing it myself, but still I didn't expect $1800 in labor fees and tax. I proceed to ask one more time for a quote after some time has passed and he says no so I'm like ok let me think about it, I grab his card and walk out. Going home defeated thinking why the heck would I even lift my truck this is ridiculous. Fast forward to today, I have a lovely conversation with another shop just west that is locally owned and operated and has great reviews and he tells me that some of his techs have run the skinny tire setup and loved it. Best part, they quoted me about $2500 for the same exact thing I asked for in ORW. Which was much more in the range of what I was expecting. Needless to say, I won't be going to ORW for anything.....ever. read more

I've always loved ORW Corona but, this last experience was the best. They really helped me out with what I wanted and needed. They always greet me when walking into the door and are super friendly and communicative. Nick and Tommy are super helpful they kept me updated through the whole process. Nick definitely went up to the plate and hit a home run with the goof up that RPG did. Long story short, I ordered the RPG RST18 through ORW in November, RPG said it the kit would be available in Jan. fast forward to Feb, RPG was waiting on shocks "it'll be a week or two" fast forward to April "waiting on shocks" fast forward again to May, "waiting on shocks still". I called Tommy and he got me in touch with Nick and He did some digging and got back to me an hour later. Fox discontinued the bypasses I ordered And were still waiting for them. Nick cancelled the bypass order from them, contacted his dude and got the newer ones the next day. The rest of the kit came in a few days later and installation started The day after installation started. Tommy sent me pictures of the installation process, which was awesome! I purchased a set of Bilstein shocks for our 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek from the 2024 Overland West Expo from ORW. ORW was recommended by the actual Bilstein vendor on site, as their vendor of choice for sales and installation. After a couple of weeks, I was notified that my parts arrived at the Corona ORW location, and made an installation appointment. The Bilsteins I ordered come set up with a 1.5" lift. This was to replace another aftermarket lift kit previously installed , along with the stock struts. Prior to installation, I specifically asked for all old parts to be returned to me. What I received was the old aftermarket strut spacers, and the new Bilstein under body spacers that were never installed. The rest of the parts (struts and hardware) were never returned. The installation tech explained that the new underbody spacers were exactly the same as the old spacers, so there was no need to replace them. Although I might agree with him, I would think you would install the new parts anyway, or contact the customer during installation to inform them that some of the new parts would not be installed. There is a chance that specs or materials could be slightly different between manufacturers. I also believe that some of the unused new hardware such as extended bolts used when installing the underbody were not returned either. The idea was for me to either sell my old spacer kit or use it on another vehicle since there was nothing wrong with it. I just upgraded to Bilsteins which turned out to be a really good upgrade. When a customer asked for old parts, all old parts should be offered, unless there is some other arrangement or information provided as to why old parts will not be returned. As far as the install and alignment, my vehicle is driving perfect and I'm happy with the overall upgrade choice and installation work done by OVR. I would probably return to OVR for future work but definitely have another conversation about old parts if applicable. Lastly, OVRs showroom is great with many parts and products on display. The guys seemed knowledgeable and eager to help with any upgrades or products they sell. read more

Purchased some of the OME MT64 parts for the wife's 4runner. Had a miscommunication with a pair of springs. Took it here for a 2nd opinion on the front squeaking noise issue. They said it was due to a passenger side uca not being tight enough. This did not fix the issue so I had to go to another off road shop to find out the noise was actually caused by the front spring not being seated properly to the strut. They have good prices on parts but I wouldn't take it back for service. read more

Got a leveling kit installed on my F150 by 4wheel parts. Suspension not right after that even though I complained of issue, and they did nothing, kept getting told no problem existed. So decided to go to ORW, where I met Alberto, after listening to my vehicles condition he offered to have his shop Forman do a ride along to feel and understand my issue. And he realized the problem and offered the perfect solution. Very greatful that they took the time to figure out a problem that was not theirs to correct. Truck handles great now. Despite not being the best value, it's still a 5-star because it was one of the few places we could call, make an appointment in a reasonable amount of time, and get the job done professionally and on-time with good communication. One of the reasons possibly for the lower value was because they weren't quite as familiar with our van (a Promaster) so therefore would charge a little extra time. They were sure to communicate this with us beforehand once they realized it. We appreciate them taking the time to do it right, however. We brought our Class-B RV to them to remove and replace a component of our lift kit and also install upgraded struts. We provided the parts. They performed the labor and alignment. Most shops didn't want to touch our van but they had the capability to fit it and do a great job. The completed installation looked great and they were professional and responsive. They also remembered to save our original parts and provided a box to place them in. Made an appointment over the phone with Luis and when we went in, he was busy so I think Tommy(?) helped me get checked in. They treated us very respectfully and my husband noticed the same for the other customers inside. We're so glad this location opened which is much closer than the locations in San Diego County. It's very clean and neat inside. We hope the stay around a long time and continue to provide great service. We would not hesitate to return for more projects. Thanks again! read more

I had a onboard 2.5 gallon air tank and compressor system installed on my 3500 truck chassis . It will allow me to control air in and out of my rear airlift airbags and have the ability to inflate anything that requires air . I also had a complete set of bilstein shocks put on that were readily available because it's a item they sticj in there onsite warehouse . They really take the name serious . read more

Contacted this place to have a Westin HDX grill guard installed on my 2022 Ram Power Wagon. Spoke with David, who was great and responsive throughout the entire process. There was a fell at the front door putting bulletins up and as I walked into the door he didn't say a thing. Ordered over $3000 worth of stuff including tires which they were installing, made an appointment a week out and when the day came treated me as a "walk in" Dropped it off at 9:30am, called about 12:30 and said they were still working on it. I took my 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 here to get suspension and tires spent over 6,000$. I went back over 5 times to the shop to get a problem fixed that they caused and it never got resolved. They did not offer much help or care. I would not recommend them to anyone. They wasted my time and money, and my truck still has the issue that they caused. 4 days after new tires: Front right tire pressure sensor goes off. (I did not have a flat tire). 10 days: I took the truck back in for them to look at the problem and they said they had reset the sensor, but i had to drive 50 miles to recalibrate it. I drove over 100 miles and it never came back on. 2 weeks: Took my truck back in and they told me they were going order 4 new sensors to fix the problem that occurred. When I get home, I realized that my bullet valve stem caps were switched off of my truck for stock black ones. I called and they said they "only found 3 of them". So they were stolen and when I noticed they had no answer. 4 weeks: I show up and they demand that I had to pay for the 4 new sensors. I agreed because I wanted this problem to be over. 4 weeks 1 day later: Picked up my truck with new sensors, got on the freeway. Immediately my truck started shaking violently. Drove strait back, they fixed the issue. While waiting, I asked about my bullet valve stem and the 4th valve stem was magically found and they were returned for me. (only after I asked in person). 4 weeks and 6 days later: Front right Tire pressure sensor popped on saying I had a flat tire. I checked no flat tire. They told me then I should go to the dealership to fix the problem, that they created on my truck. The dealership then told me it was not under warranty because different sensors were put on. Off-road warehouse did not seem like they cared about the problems they created for me. Overall, I would not recommend them to any one. Where to begin. I ordered Bilstein suspension, took a full day to install. Was not level front to back. Took three return trips to correct. Bought a front bumper with winch and light bar. Light bar does not work after two trips, have to make a third trip. They removed and disposed of my custom license plate frames. Had to order new ones and follow up with them twice to have them put back on. They can't do the work I hired them to do but they are quick to alter parts on my truck with no permission. ORW is supposed to be the professionals, I am disappointed with the quality of service expertise. Don't be fooled by the "Presidents" email confirming good service. Chris, Rick, Steven and 1 more (forgot his name) were awesome. Found them through Facebook market while I was shopping around looking for quotes for Rims and a leveling kit for my 21 Ram 1500. Chris ended up getting me the best quote with everything installed compared to other shops I asked. Parts took about a week to arrive, but Chris got me scheduled next day for installation when my parts arrived. Only issue I had was the sticky weights used to balance my wheels. Fell off the same day I brought the truck home. However, they took me in right away the next day without any issues and no more issues with the weights. He must think I'm stupid. STAY AWAY!!!! I'm not sure I'll trust my bike on the flippen rack. If Tommy at the front desk tells you you have an appointment and you put a deposit.
