Great Company I love how they took the time with my dog Ruby, Really made the difference. If you are looking for training look no further than Off-Leash

Needed fast training for a rescued pit mix out of control (overly excited but friendly) and our trainer Taylor was fantastic. My dog Syl is a tough case but with what we learned we can now enjoy normal daily walks and we continue to train daily. Highly recommend off leash k9 training!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! We took our two dogs to OLK9 and we are so glad we did! My labradoodle Max was very reactive and would scream, yelp, pull and lunge to try to get to people and especially other dogs. He also had horrible recall on or off leash. My poodle Ruby would bolt out the door the second she got the chance and trying to walk them together was a nightmare. Taylor is an absolute Angel and transformed our dogs!!! Max is completely controlled around other dogs and even can stay in command at a restaurant around many distractions. They are absolutely incredible dogs now. The stress has completely been taken off my shoulders and I couldn't be more grateful!!! I recommend Off Leash K9 training a MILLION percent!!!!

What can I say about this company, the trainer named Taylor and the owner of OTLK9? THEY ARE ALL AMAZING PEOPLE AND Taylor is a badass trainer. My dog Meka is so well behaved now. Night and day difference. She knows, "place", "heel", "stay", "break" and "come". I'm very pleased.

Dixie did the 2 week board and train with Taylor and came back a different dog! She learned to walk/heel on and off leash, place, come, and overall listen better! Taylor was a great trainer and made me feel comfortable asking any questions before, during, and after training. Highly recommend off leash k9 training!

Willow in "place" while I cook dinner. Sure beats pulling this off the counter.

I have a one year old Lab puppy, Willow. Although I had her in a different back to back 3 week board and train program, I was still unable to get her to walk properly on a leash, jumping on people and, basically doing what ever she wished when she felt like it. It was extremely disappointing. I have a heart condition that does makes it impossible to handle an out of control dog, on OR off leash. The 6 weeks of training taught my puppy the basics but I was left with very little follow up that would enable me to keep up with the training the dog needed. That is when I found Off Leash K9 here, locally in Prescott. I enrolled Willow in their 2week Urban board and train program and, WOW! Willows trainer was Gunner. His follow up taught me how to maintain the training with Willow. It may sound a tad dramatic but, this program changed my life! I can now take my dog out to restaurant, parks, hikes and swimming, allowing me to live the life I envisioned for me and my dog. I highly recommend Gunner but only if you want to really start enjoying your K9!

If I could give Off Leash K9 Training 10 stars, I would. Tom is a phenomenal trainer for both the dogs and the pet parents. Not to mention, he's a true patriot and military veteran. He has a passion and love for dogs, and it truly shows. Tom and his company have trained two of my German Shepherds, and never hesitates to offer answers to all my questions post-training. Some of the programs might seem expensive, but it's an investment in your child essentially. In the long run, when you have a dog that's trained by Tom, your dog is going to live a happier life knowing exactly what you want him/her to do on command. I have approximately 15 years experience dealing with working dogs, and Tom is the real deal.

In a "place" command

We utilized Off Leash K9 Training for our one year old completely untrained English Mastiff, Luna. Initially I was reluctant to use an e-collar because of the many myths out there about them. When used correctly, it's a great tool that allows freedom and control of your dog and stops unwanted behavior. However, as our trainer emphasized, it is critical to spend time learning how to use the e-collar and remote correctly and consistently to avoid misuse. It's really been a useful tool for us to be able to control Luna, especially when off leash at the beach or camping in the desert. Now she gets excited when we put the collar on her because she knows we're about to do something fun! Thanks to Off Leash we have a giant dog who is fun to be around, happy, well-behaved, and best of all, safe. An untrained dog can do a lot of damage or end up in serious trouble. Off Leash is worth every penny! Make the investment. You won't regret it.

Taylor with Off Leash worked with my Doodle "Marty" I couldn't be happier! He's so much more controllable now in public! Thank you Taylor, Tom and Martha! If you want a stress free life with your dog, call Off Leash K9!

Tom is amazing. He turns your dog into a canine partner with the love and guidance you'd expect from someone who genuinely loves dogs. This is a serious training program and money well spent. Your dog will be transformed, no matter how difficult you think your pup is. He keeps you up to date by sending you progress videos.

Off Leash K9....where should I start. I did my due diligence in researching training companies and decided on Off Leash K9. I have 2 German Shepherds, Scooby and Scrappy-litter mates and wanted them to be trained. I knew the basics but wanted more professional training since these 2 are all power. I first started with the 4 week program and realized how fast they started to learn. After 2 sessions I decided on switching them to the 2 week train and board program, for both. I was apprehensive on sending one of them off for 2 weeks but then started to realize and remember all the destruction they did around the house and some of the behaviors they showed, so I sent them on their way. I was given updated progress videos every couple days and was blown away with the progress they showed. The sessions were staggered so one went one week and the other went the next week. I couldn't be more happier with the training they both received and especially with their trainer. She was really good to them and I could tell they were having fun. Scooby is a very high driven Shepherd where as Scrappy is very low driven and could tell he was having fun. The result was completely night and day, all for the best. Till this day I keep up with their skills: place (extended), sit (extended), off, down (extended) and others. Repetition, repetition, repetition....I don't want them to regress so everyday I continue to practice their skills whether on walks or just in the back yard. One of the things I like is, if I have any questions, I can still make contact with either Tom or their trainer and they answer any questions that I may have. I highly recommend Off Leash K9 to anyone, especially if your looking for a solid and professional training company that cares for your 4 legged family member.

My Malinois was unmanageable and had already fractured my knee cap while I was attempting to get any form of control I could. I was at my wits end. The growling, territorialism, lead pulling, and lack of discipline had me ripping my hair out and my nerves on end. After 2.5 weeks (unfortunately it took longer because I came down with Covid around the pick up date. Lee and his amazing crew were kind enough to keep him for me while I got better) I picked up a completely new dog and new set of tools and skills to both manage and train my baby boy. I came out of our pick up session after being trained how to manage my Ozzy. Our first night home he's completely changed into what I needed him to be all along. I'm tearing up writing this because Armor k9 gave my dog the chance to be with me when I move next month. Something that wasn't even an option last month. Now I speak directly to Lee and his amazing Crew: thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You gave me the tools I didn't know I needed with this breed. You guys are beyond amazing. As a result, the boys became restless, jealous, no longer listened (well) and taking them on a walk became a chore we dreaded. I wanted a better life for them and me. I discovered TopLineK9 when a St. Bernard was dumped in the Village. When I heard where and how he was being prepared for his forever home, I googled the business and reached out to Stephanie. Wow. Is she just a burning ray of sunshine and joy! We met and the boys and I were hooked. The boys went to school for the 2 week board and train. We met a few times during training to; first ease my fear that my boys would forget me, and to begin to train ME on being a better leader. Once the boys came home the change was palpable. They were actually calm in the mornings when they used to brawl at our feet while we drank coffee. Walk became something to look forward to and we were able to get out to some trails without the dogs barking and lunging at other people and dogs. They are actually listening and looking to me for direction instead of doing whatever they want to do. We are still in the process of doing a few follow ups to make sure that everything "stuck". I think the boys really benefited by being away from me for a few weeks because (I believe) they needed a break from me and my frustrations. I feel blessed to have found Stephanie and her team, they really perform miracles!

Our evaluation was unlike anything I have ever experienced. SHE KNOWS DOGS!!! Like, really knows dogs. Truly, she is a dog whisperer. Joey had a 4 week board and train. She gave us homework to work on with Morgan at home. I was apprehensive at first about leaving my 'kid' for 4 weeks but now she is the one we board our pups with when we go away. She cares about them like they are her own and she provides a secure, protected and balanced environment. We have now worked with Monique for over a year. Board and train for Joey in 2023 then weekly group classes in Prescott with the occasional get away boarding. Every time I am around her I learn something new and my relationship with my dogs has never been better. Looking back on the past year I can now say that I am glad our dogs fought and led us to Monique. I am a better leader and advocate for my dogs. I am a better human too. Monique's real ability is teaching us, the humans, how to be better for our dogs and how to listen to what they are telling us and be the leader they need. It takes work, dedication and patience but, wow, is it worth it! Thank you Monique for everything. Our home, ourselves and our 'kids' are so much better because of you.

Both businesses are located on the same property at 874 Industrial Drive in Camp Verde. The owner of Hillside K9 Academy, Shawn T., is the trainer for Northern Arizona Service Dogs. I entered into a Purchase Agreement (as the contract is titled) with Northern Arizona Service Dogs ("NAZSD") to purchase from them a trained service dog. I had issues with NAZSD from the start with them being non-responsive to texts, voicemails, & emails. The Purchase Agreement with NAZSD stated that they would provide a trained service dog & assist me with getting the dog to pass Public Access as per the criteria outlined by the Assistance Dogs International. Contrary to how it was explained to me during my initial in-person meeting with NAZSD, the promised individual training was minimal & the promised group training was never conducted. During the first month of having the dog in my custody, the dog began to have "house training" issues while in public business establishments. After both incidents I immediately notified NAZSD. After the first incident I requested to return the dog for additional training; however, they declined to take custody. After the second incident a week later, I insisted that NAZSD provide a replacement dog as per the contract. In spite of my several requests for a replacement dog, both verbally as well as in writing, my request was never acknowledged nor was a replacement ever provided. I subsequently requested a refund of my deposit (several thousands of dollars), but these requests have all been ignored. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau ("BBB") to which NAZSD responded by making numerous false allegations against me, including certain details of my private medical history. Unfortunately, I did not make a response in time on the BBB's web portal before the BBB closed the complaint. I was informed by the BBB that both my complaint as well as NAZSD's response would be posted on their website publicly. It was my original intention to acquire a trained service dog, not to acquire a service dog to be trained by myself. I have so far been unable to recover the thousands of dollars paid to them, nor has NAZSD delivered to me a trained service dog as a replacement for the original dog which they chose to retain. The have failed to fulfill their obligation under the contract, although they have refused to return my payment. As of this date, I have not been reimbursed & NAZSD has not delivered a trained service dog. I would NOT recommend Northern Arizona Service Dogs in any regard, for any purpose. Their business practices are extremely unprofessional.
