I have never boarded my dog and I will never do it again there! The woman at the from desk was nice enough but the gentleman (I use the word very loosely) looked like he was on drugs and told my dog if he wasn't nice to him he wouldn't eat! Excuse me?! Reluctantly, I let him take my dog back. I had no other choice at this point. I asked the girl at the front desk if they were gonna be nice to my dog and she said yeah that was a little creepy. I'm sorry he's new! So two days later I come to get my baby and all I hear is parking from all the dogs like it just oh I'm upset barking, it was unnerving! I finally got my baby out and home and he drank probably a half a gallon of water when we got here he was very dehydrated. Never again! I wouldn't use them if it was the last boarding facility in town!

Would not recommend. The first time we boarded our dog, we had him groomed and upon retrieval, he…read morehad multiple cuts from around his armpits from the clippers getting too close. The second time that we boarded him, we were told that we could pick him up at 1630. I arrived at 1600 and the doors were locked. I stood outside, calling them and watching employees walk past the front door. They didn't make an effort to come out or call and say that they were running behind with his hair cut. They just looked at me and kept walking. Finally, someone came out to tell me that they were not able to process payment or look up my reservation and that I would need to come back the next day to pick up my dog because they closed at 1500, even though that is not what Apple Maps says. After telling them that I was going to call the police, they got their manager to come and process payment. But only after I said that I was calling the police. Even after all of this, they still charged me 155 for boarding and 55 for his grooming. The manager also told me that the only reason that they haven't changed the hours on Apple Maps is because it was a "pain in the ass".

There's a reason we drive an hour each way up and back from Phoenix EVERY time we need to board a dog. We've had dogs our whole lives and have been faithful clients of Angelo's since we our new blended family found him in 2016. Our last 2 dogs have been working K9s with specific needs. Angelo is very familiar with these dogs as well, and Ares and Hades have always returned home happy and healthy. The facility is fully climate controlled with individual indoor/outdoor runs and is very clean. You won't find 20 dogs rolling around in unsupervised chaos while a bored attendant scrolls through a cell phone here. It's also not a place where your dog returns to you nervous wreck; but fluffy and smelling of baby powder with a ribbon on its head after being confined in a tiny crate for 2 weeks. All things to consider when entrusting your pup to someone else. Angelo knows and understands dogs and is beyond competent with all manner of breeds. I believe he also offers training services if you're in need of things like rattlesnake avoidance (yikes!) You may have to check the website for office hours as they are limited.
