Excede told me I would have to wait three days for a tech to come out to make the repairs. This is after more than 50 minutes on the phone. I called Kurt, and he drove in from his home - 90 plus minutes each way - to hook me back up to the Internet. I am very grateful for his diligence and integrity in backing up his product. He is devoted to his customers and loyal, and his install team does a fast, efficient job too. My first dish with them, Joe installed in ice and know and I know his hands were freezing too! They are good, hard working and really get the job done right! In this business, they truly excel and do care about their customers, something other companies should do, but many don't give us the time of day. It is a relief to be able to call someone who knows and is willing to go that extra distance. They are really an asset and very valuable team and you're lucky to get their service and install!

I work online, and so I need to have a reliable connection-- and that's when a friend of mine recommended trying out DC Access. A long time customer of Verizon, I was wary of going with a small, local company. Long story short, I could not be happier. Frankly, I feel like DC Access is better than my previous service with Fios. For one, the internet connection feels much more reliable now than it was before (maybe it has to do with the number of people who are on it? I don't know, but I haven't had -- fingers crossed-- any outages or lapses in quality). The other great part about DC Access is that, since it's a small local company, they are very responsive. I don't have to wait on the phone for ages or swap emails with nameless customer service reps. Anyhow, if DC Access offers coverage in your area, I highly recommend it.

They list it as a Tax in their summary but it is not a tax or a fee mandated by any government entity. It is strictly a surcharge that they choose to impose to mask the true price of their cable offering. Big cable companies have been sued over these practices. You can negotiate with Dish to get almost the same price and a lot more content.

We rented a modem/router from them for a month and then bought our own to avoid the monthly rental fee. Rita was a pleasure to work with and was always friendly, prompt, and kind. Whenever we needed a technician to come out (which wasn't often), someone came by quickly and completed any necessary repairs promptly and professionally. I definitely recommend Procom as a great choice for telephone and Internet needs.
