I recommend shopping at Ann Taylor, and you can ask for Drena and have a very nice shopping experience .

This is another one of the stores I would seek out when I went to a bigger city than Nashville…read morebefore we got one here. It's true there were other places you could find Lucky jeans, but having the store is so much better for a few reasons. Firstly, the selection here is much bigger, and if you're short like me, this matters a lot. They have the whole range of sizes in short length. It really bugs me when I have to buy jeans and then pay for them to shorten them and move the hem up. It's possible to have them look like the jeans you bought, but it's an expensive way of doing things. So I would rather go here and buy jeans in the right length, even though I might pay a little more, it's worth it to buy them and be able to wear them the same day. It actually ends up costing about the same in the end too. Secondly, I love wearing jeans, but I HATE the process of buying them. I can never find the right size and I can never judge how much they are going to grow when I wear them and I end up buying them too big. The salespeople here are so patient and they know what they're doing. They'll look at you, take you to the changing rooms and keep bringing you jeans until you find the right ones. They'll also make sure you buy the right size. It takes all the stress out of buying jeans. I bought some about a year and a half ago and wore them practically every day and they held up really well. I could do with another pair and I'll definitely go back and shop here.

Coming off a negative experience at Macy's, I was particularly thankful for the cheeriness of a couple gals working on a Friday night. One was named Laney and we loved her. Plus their flannels are amazing so there's that.

We came to Opry Mills to hit a few outlet stores in hoping of finding a few casual pieces such as slacks and button-ups, and we found both at J.Crew. For all the craziness that is right outside of their doors, this J.Crew keeps a sense of calm in their store with well stocked shelves, organized and presentable clothes, little to no clutter combined with a clean store as a whole. The staff were also helpful, but not obtrusive or overbearing. I encountered them on the sales floor and at the register, both times were great. Overall, we found what we were after and would happily swing by this J.Crew again in the future!

She's so incredibly helpful and goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. She deserves a round of applause. The first time I came I was looking at some camel hair (I think) leopard print shoes, and she was happy to check pricing for me since they were on clearance. Unfortunately the shoes didn't work for me, but ... man I wish I had her name. She was so kind and helpful and really seemed like she enjoys working there! Today I came back with a couple pair (I bought 3 different sizes) of moccasins for my husbands' Christmas which he LOVEDDDD. He took one size and I came to return the other two sizes that didn't work. But also they were on sale for 11.99 instead of the 19.50 I paid for them. She did a price match easy peasy and the return and I'm over the moon happy. Very satisfied customer. Thank you for your help, it's really appreciated. GO JCREW!

I feel the deals at the Columbia Store located at Tanger has better prices, but if you dig a bit here you can score a good item on sale. Now that winter is upon us, I have been looking for new lightweight long sleeve shirts and/or vests. I like to layer! I enjoy the fit and feel of a few Columbia branded long sleeve shirts, and liked the colors, so I ended up with green and blue long sleeves that were 2/$40. The store is well laid out and is clean. Service is meh here. There were several associates working, but they were all congregated behind and near the counter, instead of greeting or assisting folks on the floor. Interaction at the counter was all business, which I guess is fine, but you expect at least a little friendliness when shopping. Overall, okay Columbia location.
