After we'd finished browsing the shelves, we sat down and had a look at the menu. Everything sounded so inviting. We decided to go for the Keto Breakfast Plate as we were quite interested to try the keto bread. This dish was (gf,df) and consisted of an in-house made macadamia keto bread (gf). avocado, kaleonaise sauce, organic mixed salad leaves, smoked salmon, cashew cheese and organic poached eggs. The bread and the cashew cheese was super tasty! The sunshine bowl was very refreshing and was served in a cute coconut bowl which made us feel like we had escaped to somewhere tropical for a bit. Staff were very friendly and looked like they enjoy working there which could be because it is operated like a family orientated business. Overall a good vibe and lots of wholesome goodness to enjoy. Although it is located in a business area, the atmosphere is so relaxed you don't even realise that it is. Another thing to note is that if you're into all things healthy and organic, you most likely won't leave this place without a thing or two. We ended up getting some Kombucha and a few protein snacks for the road.

I love the idea of shopping bulk! As a participant of Plastic Free July this year, I decided to…read moredrop in to my local bulk food store before buying from Coles or Woolies. I brought my own containers and the woman behind the counter weighed them for me and wrote the tare on them. I was able to buy most everything I needed in bulk here, which was really exciting. I bought organic red lentils, organic rolled oats, organic popping corn, and a little jar of raw organic cacao. The total for that shop was $36. I went back a few days later to buy some organic acai powder. I bought one of the little jars from the shop, which was really handy. I love the concept of this store, but there is a downside. The products are much more expensive than their packaged counterparts from Coles. I filled a little jar half way with acai powder, and it cost $15 (plus $2.50 for the little jar). The bulk bags they have available are $5 each. I am happy that bulk is becoming more accessible, but with prices like this, we still have a long way to go to make it accessible to the public - it will be hard to convince people to give up plastic in favor of bulk food when it's so much more expensive. Nonetheless, I will continue to shop bulk as much as I can afford. I believe in voting with my dollar, and bulk food stores with organic foods is where its at!

My understanding of customer service is that you are supposed to make people feel welcome, accepted and encouraged to engage with the products. I spent the entire time in the store feeling as though they wanted me to leave. Maybe they were having a bad day, but frankly I left close to tears and humiliated. I've never made a review of a company before, but I felt like this is one occasion where feedback is needed.

The warehouse shop has both prepackaged produce and bulk bins, and a few extra things like nut milk bags, Spiral Food products, and coconut products (soap, jams, spreads). If you buy online they will have your order waiting for you to pick up, or you can request to pick up from their farmers market stall.

For a late lunch I had delicious fish and chips and my wife had a salad she liked. They roast their own specialty coffee, which are quite tasty. Seating is limited, with less than a dozen tables. They don't serve liquor, but you can go next door to the bottle shop and pick up a bottle of wine, bring it back, and enjoy it with your meal. It's an odd location, not near many other commercial establishments, with limited parking. So it won't be a destination for many. But the local crowd clearly loves it already. The two young ladies who own it have been present and working hard each time I was there. They also have a case with a dozen gelatos around the side of the counter. Currently they're closing about 4pm each afternoon.

Each time we thought we found one a local jumped up from theirs and moved to escape the noise. Frustrating that this happened twice. Second, the coffee was.... one of the worst ive had in Sydney. Best described as warm milk, it's embarrassing that they are supposedly a specialty roaster. I almost never walk away from a coffee but this time I had to. It's sad when I considered walking next door to the mini mart for a DARE Iced coffee. Now, its not all doom and gloom. The Mexican Baked Eggs were actually quite good. The key to their success in my mind was the inclusion of jalapeños and some melted cheese. My only suggestion would be some small pieces of bacon or ham to add in some salt/meat goodness. The missus avocado and salsa toast was ok; nothing special. Verdict; if you are driving by and curious about why this place is busy... try it out. But be warned their coffee is below subpar and its not worth travelling to try.
