First noticed this new resto on my way to see a supplier. I asked my aunt who lives nearby and she gave a negative review. Reviews from other blogsites are mixed so I was curious to try. Interior and exterior will transport you to Japan. Ambiance is instagrammable. Food serves a variety as they have a wide range of menu from sushi/sashimi, teppanyaki, ramen/soba/udon, tempura, nabe, tempura, agemono, grilled stuffs among others. Staffs are hospitable while service is ok. Heard that most of their ingredients are imported directly from Japan, price would be value for money then. Since we visit the place as a group of 14, we ordered almost everything on the menu. Here are some of the foods and comments: Spicy Salmon Sashimi - you can really taste the quality and freshness of the fish. The chili-mayo sauce and the tempura crumbs do not overcrowd the dish which allowed the flavor of the salmon to shine. Level of spiciness is just right. Salmon Sashimi - same, quality is good. This is for the people who doesnt like spicy food. Special Okonomiyaki - this Japanese pizza has a regular version, which contains bacon and vegetables. The special version has seafood, egg, and cheese. You will know they dpnt crimp on ingredienta when you are able to have a taste of seafood in every bite. Chawan Mushi - velvety smooth and cooked perfectly Gyoza - delicate wrapper with juicy pork filling. Saba Shioyaki (salt-grilled mackerel) - one of my favorite dishes, flavorful and clean taste. Salmon Teriyaki - good. Kurobota Pork Agemono - quality meat for a more enjoyable experience Chasiu Ramen - delicate, thin, light and flavorful pork in tender ramen noodles and delicious broth. They serve it big yet my 3-year old niece finished the entire bowl. Oedo Maki - crab, cucumber, and eel maki - perfect combination that complements each other Yakisoba - flavorful wet noodles with crunchy vegetables Tempura - what can go wrong with tempura? The batter is good and is not oily. Omurice - hmmm...its ok, tasted lile ketchup rice woth chicken and egg. Overall, given the quality, price, location, ambiance, and service, would definitely come back to try other items...they have a thick menu to choose from. :-)

This restaurant serves very good quality Japanese cuisine and service. Highly recommended. The price can be expensive but well worth it. It also has a Japanese Store beside the resturant, which they also operate, for those who want to try cooking Japanese food at home.

Staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the food came out quickly. Loved the unique and refreshing drinks too. Great job!

This time the visit was with my parents, my brother, my husband and me. We were served with delicious complimentary tofu with a great-tasting sauce. My brother ordered the aji tataki for us to start off and it's been a while since I've had this. Beautifully done and very tasty! My brother got the chirashi bowl. My husband and I shared the Gindara kaku bento - grilled cod fish, salad, salmon and tuna sashimi, tempura, miso soup with clams and mango ice cream. For dessert, fruits was the other option. My brother also ordered several chawanmushi for us to share. My parents shared the Nigiri kaku bento. There was so much food. The one down side was the fish in my parents' bento box was a bit tough, unlike the gindara that we had. I would probably recommend the Gindara kaku bento between the 2 bento boxes. We also had this soup that came in a small teapot. I had missed jotting down the name but you drink the soup from a miniature teacup. Glad we didn't order more food because there was already lots of food! Highly recommend!

Upon checking the menu, the price points is almost the same and even the plating shares the same look. I confirmed that the two is part of i Foods Group including Ichiba Japanese Market in Resortsworld. The setting is really esteemed. There are salient points on food. The takoyaki is overcooked, ramen is ordinarily prepared, and the spicy salmon maki is not at all spicy. There is nothing special on the broth of the ramen soup. The price points can be reasonable though. The commendable ones are Tempura, fresh salmon sashimi and yakitori. Service is also efficient. As a mother's day treat, they serve a free dessert for customers that reaches Php1500 food orders.

Ambience and Experience Our good friend Diane invited us to…read moretry the Kamameshi Rice at this restaurant where her brother works as a chef. Of course, this got our entire group pretty excited and I'd go for treats anytime if I can! It was great that they already had a table ready for us when we arrived. :) Wide spaces, seat options, and bright lights made the place look really exciting. Their restroom had an amusing sink knob located at the extreme lower right, away from the sink. California Roll This is an easy default for any Japanese roll to try. Theirs was good, refreshing in the mouth, simple, and tasty! Salmon Sashimi This tasted slightly different from what we usually eat at other Japanese restaurants but it was as good as always. With just the right amount of soy sauce and wasabi, I was all set. Takoyaki This was nearly a tie-breaker for first place in my book. It was SUPER GOOD! Texture and filling were just amazing! Tori Teri Kamameshi It's basically teriyaki chicken on kettle rice. This restaurant taught me that there is actually a name for the burnt rice at the bottom, and it's called "Okoge." I've had lots of good burnt rice experiences elsewhere (not only Japanese) but I'm not sure if the reference would still be the same since they weren't kamameshi. Tori Teri was pretty good with tender chicken and flavorful sauce. It can get addicting! Yakitori Everything essentially came smothered with teriyaki sauce. We tried the Baby Octopus, which was slightly chewy and very similar to eating squid. Quail Eggs were, well, eggs! I can't say much about it. Eggs! Chicken Liver was my favorite for the texture and flavor. I'll always try Chicken Liver if the restaurant has yakitori. Service Overall experience was good since we arrived. Lester tried to convince Diane that the Baby Octopus, which she resisted to try, was "kyut kyut." :p Big thanks to her bro Chef Von and the restaurant's other staffers for good food and service! Prices are VAT-inclusive and expect service charge.
