Meal with the sauces...
Michael W.

This is my first time eating at Oec and let me tell you it will not be my last time. The customer service is friendly and very appreciative towards their customers. I ordered the shrimp , chicken , steak with fried rice . The food was served hot and seasoned to perfection. They also give you a large portion ( enough for 2 servings). I ordered to takeout; however while waiting I noticed they have a extremely nice eat in section which seemed comfortable and clean. If you have not tried Oec you must try it because they have a large menu selection.

Great food love it. I really love the service and the food is not bad. I recommend it to anyone.

I have nothing but nice things to say about this place! Inside of the restaurant was clean, ample seating, and the atmosphere was great. Staff members were quick, friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful. Ordering was a breeze. We were a group of four and for our table we ordered about 6-7 sushi rolls as well as steak yakisoba and we all came out winners! I mean it. Literally each thing we ordered was better than the last!!! I'd love to come back again and try even more from their menu. OEC is the place to be!!

My go-to order at OEC Japanese will always be the tornado roll, spicy crab roll, and king salmon roll. OEC is always busy there is a crowd flowing in and out. I would suggest ordering online or calling ahead for convenience. You can sit down and dine, I do it all the time. The service is quick and fast and you do have a lot of options to choose from !!

OEC has the absolute best Hibachi in Bartlett hands down!!, the place is always clean and tidy, and the food is off the charts, hot, fresh chicken breast, rice and vegetables grilled to perfection.

It was ok but I wouldn't go back. The steak was very dry and the shrimp fishy. I'm sure the steak was old (hitachi price wo the hitachi)

Some of the best sushi I've ever had. It's always nice to find a place that will fill you up with some good rolls!

Always fresh. Always good. Sometimes the wait is long but it's because it's consistently yummy.

Decent pricing but this is not real sushi. It's something white people would eat and call "authentic sushi" if you're into that.

Tokyo Grill - SD3. Deep-Fried hurricane

Tokyo Grill

Tokyo Grill was pretty cool overall. I wouldn't say I was wowed, but the food was enjoyable. From…read morewhat I understand, this spot used to be a CK's and later a Mexican restaurant. I really liked the unique decor in the dining area. There were a couple of TVs tuned to the Weather Channel (on mute) and pop music playing for ambiance. I ordered the fried rice with chicken, which was okay but could've used some sauce. My dining companion had the hibachi vegetables that included teriyaki sauce, so I asked for a side of that sauce -- and it definitely jazzed up my dish a lot. We also tried the spring rolls, and I found them to be fried hard on the outside but mushy and doughy on the inside -- not my favorite. Very friendly staff and they give you large portions.

We ordered from here last night and there were some pros and cons…read more The main pro was the hurricane roll. It was delicious and the portion was huge so I felt like it was absolutely worth the cost of it. The chicken katsu was very tough. My husband was a little taken back by the consistency of it but said the flavor was good, just very tough consistency. Now for the main cons, the general tsos chicken was not at all general tsos chicken. I don't know whey they gave us but the flavor was not at all general tsos. It's the only "Chinese" food my husband eats, so we are very familiar with what it's supposed to taste like. He couldn't eat it, but I didn't mind it. The fried rice was not the best. Overall, I'll be back for the sushi but prob not much else.

If you're sleeping on the sushi and fried rice at Tokyo Grill, you're seriously missing out. The…read moresushi is ridiculously fresh, perfectly rolled, and basically disappears the second it hits the table. And the fried rice? Absolute flavor bomb--savory, buttery, and loaded with that classic hibachi magic that makes you keep saying "just one more bite"... about 12 times. 10/10 would absolutely demolish this meal again. If you leave hungry, that's honestly a personal choice.

1. Their ingredients tasted super fresh & the sushi rolls we got were really good!…read more 2. The staff here were incredibly friendly and we got our food with a quick turnover considering how much sushi our table ordered. 3. The prices here are VERY great. You can get very affordable sushi here. 4. They were open when neighboring sushi restaurants were closed. (Midday between lunch & dinner) That said, there are no frills here. We got the very basic sushi which were $4.99 a roll (!!!!) or 2 for $9.99 and that came with a miso soup! We tried: cucumber roll, California roll, spicy crunchy crab, and spicy California roll. They were all priced within that price range I mentioned and we were happy with nearly everything. Know that when they say a cucumber roll-- it's literally JUST cucumber inside rice & seaweed. I did not expect that and wouldn't get that one again. Also, the spicy sauce that came on their spicy rolls was overpowering in a bad way. Next time I'll get it on the side or without the sauce all together... you just couldn't taste the sushi or anything except the sauce. (And there was way too much sauce on it, IMO.) All in all? We'd come back again. My daughter really loved the artwork on the walls of the restaurant so huge kudos to whoever did the art inside because it really is breathtaking.
