We had never been to Florence, Cinque Terra or Tuscany before and the thought of trying to blindly plan a trip without guidance was overwhelming. Priscila listened to our goals and planned a trip allowing us to see and enjoy Italy. Not every vacation allows you to have time to absorb the culture, but our trip was planned implementing the perfect pace. We started in Florence which is a high activity city, went next to Cinque Terra which was toned down a bit and ended in a relaxing villa in Tuscany. Every detail was carefully considered with recommendations for sights to see, restaurants, even specific meals to consider! We had just the perfect amount of scheduled activities and days of leisure to explore as we wished. Priscila secured three days with private drivers who spoke English to take us to smaller surrounding villages-STUNNING. We knew exactly where to go, which train to take, had vouchers to tours so lines were skipped, and we stayed at BEAUTIFUL locations where everyone was friendly and the food outstanding! But most ESSENTIAL was the support Priscila provided when our airline was delayed, connecting flights missed, luggage lost, and problems with the airline not issuing a boarding pass. Travel can have a large stress component, but she had our backs ALL THE WAY! We don't know what we would have done without her continued support throughout our trip. The final payment of $25,000 was due and I asked if they could extend the final payment date, which they did for 10 days until I received the surgery results. On the tenth day I called them and told them I had to cancel could we have our deposit back. They said NO that I would have to go through the insurance company to get my deposit back. The last thing I wanted to do after surgery was deal with an insurance company. It meant filling out multiple forms by both myself and the doctor. Tauck obviously doesn't care about keeping loyal customers. We have since booked a trip with a different tour company and will no longer use Tauck.

Our driver was initially meant to be Joseph, but he was replaced at the last minute with a man named George. Our driver, George, stole from us and then told a false story about it! when waiting for the bridesmaids to descend, someone in the party paid him in cash when we were at the hotel (to my understanding, they're not even supposed to take payment beforehand, and he even angrily counted the money in front of him). We then had to go around the entire arena after he dropped us off at the incorrect entrance, which presented another problem. Unaware that someone in the party had already paid him, the matron of honor and bride gave him another cash gratuity. Without uttering a word, he accepted the packet. When the bride's family and I realized the next day that we had paid him twice, we called the firm. However, the driver insisted that our party member had never paid him, despite the fact that several witnesses had seen the money! As long as this dishonest driver continues to operate, we will NEVER suggest this company to anyone. They were really difficult to work with in attempting to make things right, and they never offered us an apology or a refund. If I could, I would rate something with a negative star. Very dissatisfied with the service we got on this important day.
