The hotel she found us was located on palm beach which was amazing in itself, however, within steps from the hotel door were shops and restaurants and anything we needed. We chose not to do all inclusive which was perfect. Every day for seven days we had a different restaurant for breakfast luncheon dinner. All within minutes of our hotel walking distance. We walked everywhere. Such amazing food. Oh yes, and she reminded me when it was time for us to fill out the ED card because if not, I would've forgotten. We even booked our excursions through her and they were fabulous. I cannot rave enough about Susan and our experience. I'm so glad that I found her.

One hour and ten minutes is insufficient to leave Prague, board the plane to Frankfort, go through immigration control in the line, wait for the shuttle bus to the main airport, and get to the gate (Z) which was the last one in the terminal. Have you done that successfully? If so, how did you manage? I had to take a airport cart to the Lufthansa gate. $$ Lufthansa said there was no way I could have an international flight in that brief amount of time. I then had to take another airport cart to find a taxi. $$$ What was I to do? So, Lufthansa gave me a hotel voucher for the night with meals. However, I had to pay for the taxi to the hotel and back to the airport tomorrow. I do not know the language or the train system. I now have missed my connecting flight back to Las Vegas. I guess I'll have to pay for that new flight. I don't think I have ever had such an unpleasant experience working with a travel agency. Perhaps it would be wise to factor in how much time is needed between flights on international travel. Three hours is the suggested time allowance. Was I the first international customer? I do not mean to sound impatient, but this has been costly and exhausting. I am now rebooked on a Lufthansa flight tomorrow morning. I hope to be compensated $$$ by the travel agency. Please respond. Long story short: I would not recommend this company to anyone that is a first time buyer and if you go with this company make sure you tell them you want insurance because they aren't going to recommend it to you. I highly recommend Travelwire for transportation to and from airports at odd hours. Far less expensive than previously used private driving services. Far more reliable than an Uber driver. They arrive when they way they will arrive and pick you up when they say they will.

The month before the wedding was my busiest of my working career. Added to that, the last minute details of the wedding and the wedding itself. My life was crazy insane but I knew that I would be able to relax on my honeymoon which was scheduled 2 days after my wedding. Here's where it gets good... The day after the wedding it was time to check in to our flights. I got my passport out to put in the details and the expiration date. I kept looking at it and it wasn't making sense to me...then reality hit.. My passport had expired the day before. I couldn't believe it.. How did this happen to me? I know better.. I'm experienced.. I always check, double check and triple check.. But this time, I hadn't because I was more concerned with getting my finance his first passport. I never thought to look at mine. My dream honeymoon was lost... along with all the money I spent to book it. After my screaming, crying and subsequent panic attack.. I started to think. I thought.. ok.. I have a travel agent.. I have heard Michele tell stories about people who this has happened to... So I texted her and said, "Hi Michele... It's amateur hour at my house at the moment... you will never believe this, but my passport has expired and I am melting down"... She instantly texted me back and told me to calm down and that she was on it. About an hour later, she got back to me and said this is the plan... "I have contacted the hotels and the transfer companies. We are all set. They have agreed to push your check in date back a day and we will be able to change the flights. Tomorrow, get up at the crack of dawn and go to the emergency passport office and get a new passport. Long story short.. I did this, got my passport and left the next day. Through this whole sage, Michele was kind and patient and constantly reassured me that everything would be fine even though I thought all was lost. If it wasn't for her, her experience and guidance, I do believe all would have been lost. It was so incredible to know that I had someone to turn to. I also truly believe that the hotels would not have been so agreeable with me directly. But because she is an agent, they want to make sure that they are helpful when they can be. This whole experience has shown me the "TRUE VALUE" of a travel agent. I was able to go on my dream honeymoon that didn't disappoint. Unbeknownst to me, Michele, had one more surprise. When we checked into our room at JADE MOUNTAIN, ST. LUCIA~ which I had been waiting to see for 10 years, we were given an upgrade.. but not any upgrade...They gave us the best room in the entire hotel..(ps.. I have never been giving an upgrade) ....and Never did I think in a million years, I ever would be staying in this room.. I laughed and cried, at the same time. My dream literally came true. It wasn't until I got back and found out that Michele on one of her many travels, had met the owner of this hotel, spoke to her about us and asked her in her sweet Michele way, if there was anything they could do for us, it would be greatly appreciated. Well.. they came through and in the most amazing way. I want to thank Michele for making this all possible. I get emotional thinking about it. You expect an agent to be able to personalize an itinerary based on her own travel experience and on her understanding of your individual interests and budget. As we have discovered, Eva instead relies on her "business partners," mega-agencies whom she keeps at arm's length from her customers. This two-step makes the process of travel planning unnecessarily complicated, time consuming, impersonal and error-prone. My impression is that Eva places commissions above customers. For example, she tried to tie a refund to our agreeing to spend three times its value on future trips. I am sorry to be one-sided in my comments but I have never experienced a service business quite as emotionally exhausting and untrustworthy. I was in contact with Michelle and was very disappointed with everything that happened. I had to cancel my credit card and called her with my new information. She charged the second card, but never updated my information in the system so when she went to charge me for a shuttle (that she wasn't very clear about the price and I needed to ask her to clarify several times) she charged my canceled credit card and was obviously declined. She emailed me asking for a new card instead of calling...I am not sending my credit card info through an email. She never updated my card info on the system which makes me wonder if my card number is floating around her office on a post it somewhere. When we were booking the shuttles, I was very clear saying that I wasn't sure what my friend was doing since she was trying to change her flight and that I was just booking for me. I sent MY flight details and she also booked my friend and charged her too. I had to call and correct this and spoke to another woman in the office who was very understanding and tried her best to remedy the situation. She said that Michelle said my friend sent her flight info when she never did. She booked my friend for the shuttle using my itinerary when my friend wasn't on either flight and wasn't even returning the same day. She mailed us cute little bags with our itinerary and a luggage tag which I did appreciate since it helped me to keep my things organized. My itinerary said that my friend and I had a room with two double beds. When we arrived we were given a king size bed to share. I called the lobby and they said that's what was booked and they didn't have any more double rooms available. As much as I don't mind sharing a bed with my friend, why should I have to? That's not what we booked. I wrote Michelle an email where I was clearly frustrated with all of her errors and she wrote me a really rude response. I understand that I may have come across as irritated and pissed off, but as a client I felt I had the right to be since I've been going back and forth with her all week correcting her mistakes. I chose to ignore her snotty response. Later I got another email telling me if I wanted I could try to change rooms the next day. When you're only in a hotel for two days do you really want to switch rooms for the second night? Everything about this ordeal was awful. I could have done her job in 5 minutes with no mistakes but felt like I had to go through her since the invite for the wedding said to contact her. I'm just happy I booked my own flights so there were no mistakes with that, unlike my friends that booked their flights through her. I recommend doing your own travel booking or using a different company.
