Now, very few human reps, very few tow companies on contract and often none overnight, in crisis situations, unable to get a call back from a manager despite multiple requests and even demands, not even as follow up. In January, AAA left my 80 year old diabetic, cancer patient, father and I on the side of the road for 23 hours, overnight, before a sympathetic free lance driver agreed to come get us to do a good deed at lunch time the next day. That was two AAA Plus members, seperate accounts, both multiple decades tenure, asking that something be done to help us out on a quiet, weather free day, with request initiated before noon and no rush hour interferance. Roadside assistance is secondary now, they'd rather sell travel services, life insurance, and hawk credit cards. Never again.
