I immediately took it back they looked at it again, this time they told me there was a crack in the valve cover itself. Why they didn't catch that the first time I don't know. So they put new valve covers on. They charged me $700.00 labor both times, first to change the valve cover gasket then the second time to replace the valve cover. They should have replaced the cracked valve cover the first time when they replaced the gasket. I felt they should have discounted some of the labor on my second trip there. I didn't expect them to do it for free, but to charge me $700.00 both times was ridiculous. I will never go back there and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They said that they had more important things to do first. I waited until 1:15pm they said it was done. I changed my van to another day. when I got in my truck either they were vaping or smoking marijuana by or in my truck it reeked. I had to drive home with my window. When you get the alignment done the steering wheel is supposed to be straight mine is about 10 degrees off. When I went back to my van, I told him to take my van off the schedule. I explained why he said that no one would do that. I explained that I have Astma and would have to get the inside detailed. He said he would get the Lysol I told him 3 times the truck wasn't here when he came outside to spray the lysol he said the truck isn't even here, I said I told you that. He told me you bring your truck back and I will f....ing fix it. I would not use them or recommend them to anyone. the worst customer service.

As I wanted 40 mins I was then told that "the service wasn't being done due to lose parts." I asked the service person "what loose parts are we talking about.." he responded with "well maybe not loose but bad parts due to age, so this needs to be done before a alignment." At which he handed me a bill for 1200 dollars... I responded with "Um those are all brand new parts & I personally ordered all the parts to do the service. Plus with the older parts all sitting in boxes in the back trunk, so can't believe they weren't changed out or even old." The service writer then saids " Well here's your keys then." as he placed them in my hand. After leaving the building walking to my vehicle, I noticed greasy hand prints on the outside of the drive door.... beyond that I opened the drive door to not only see greasy hand prints on the door card, center console & steering wheel. Beyond sad to say I gave this new business a chance, but not only wrote up a crazy bill to not due the work that was scheduled previously before the holiday weekend. They also had no care as to the mess they left on or in my freshly detailed car. I will not be going back at any point & will be sending people to another shop if asked for recommendation.

All of a sudden, we heard a rattling/knocking sound that continued as we drove down the road and thought something was loose which could obviously create more problems. We were close to Union City so we pulled into the Robbins Auto Value & Service Center and asked for help. The gentleman checked the car and discovered that the heat shield on the catalytic converter had come loose. He removed it with instructions to check back with our area mechanic. This allowed us to continue on our way without a delay. He was very friendly and understanding and his timely help was much appreciated.
