All of a sudden, we heard a rattling/knocking sound that continued as we drove down the road and thought something was loose which could obviously create more problems. We were close to Union City so we pulled into the Robbins Auto Value & Service Center and asked for help. The gentleman checked the car and discovered that the heat shield on the catalytic converter had come loose. He removed it with instructions to check back with our area mechanic. This allowed us to continue on our way without a delay. He was very friendly and understanding and his timely help was much appreciated.

But, after my entire experience with these folks, I'm incredibly pleased that i followed through. You'll never find a finer group of people to deal with after an accident. Not only were the repairs flawless, the customer care and concern were equal to none. I was especially impressed by their updating system in the form of text messages. I was kept in the loop the entire time, knew exactly when the completion time would be, what the charges involved, and covered by a great warranty statement that speaks volumes about their commitment to stand solidly behind their work. Professional, customer oriented, dedicated to excellence. What's not to like? Thanks so much. You went above and beyond for us.

I met up…read morein the dealership lot to do the exchange and the woodchipper came with keys that had this dealership's logo. The woodchipper had a faulty carburetor that leaked fuel both inside and outside the engine. THIS IS AN EXTREME FIRE HAZARD THAT CAN ENDANGER HUMAN LIFE. Ken did not tell me about this and assured me that "6 mechanics looked it over". I called Ken asking for $200 back so I can fix this extreme hazard but he refused any attempt to improve the situation. This was a bad experience and I would recommend going to this dealership. They are willing to hide a fire hazard for a few hundred bucks.

If I could give this shop zero stars, I would…read more I took my truck in for a tune-up and paid $924.00. When I left the shop, my brake pedal went straight to the floor. I immediately turned around and brought it back. After looking at it, they told me I had a rusted brake line. I don't believe that was the case. They had been working in that same area, and I believe the brake line was damaged while they were servicing my truck. To make matters worse, the tune-up itself was not done correctly. My truck still doesn't run right. I took the truck back so they could make it right under their 2-year parts and labor warranty, but I got no help. I dropped it off at 7:00 a.m., left it there all day, and when I returned, they told me they couldn't get it in and said, "Try again tomorrow." That's not standing behind your work or honoring your warranty. I can't help but wonder what would have happened if I had told them I couldn't pay the $924.00 bill when I picked it up last Friday. I'm sure they wouldn't have accepted that excuse, yet they expected me to accept theirs. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. I expected quality work, accountability, and customer service. Instead, I left with a brake problem, a tune-up that wasn't done right, and a warranty that, in my experience, meant nothing. Please beware of this shop. My experience was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly recommend thinking twice before trusting them with your vehicle.
