Needless to say the car got stuck when I backed up and over some railroad ties and my car's axel rested on the ties. I randomly called this tow service (they had no reviews) and hoped for the best. Denise, at the office, dispatched one of their trucks and when he couldn't get the job done the owner came out personally (talk about service!!!) together they got the job done! A+ job guys! Thanks for getting me back in good graces with the hubs! Cheers!

I couldn't continue my drive to Chicago and I was a few hours from home. So I googled mechanics near me. I came across Sprowls, called and spoke with Andrew. I explained to him what was going on with my truck. He said to bring it in and he would get to me right away. Long story short we attempted a few quick easy fixes to try and get me back on the road to Chicago. None of them ended up working sadly. However, I really appreciate Andrew and his honesty. He could have easily of taken advantage of me. Being a female and not really understanding mechanics, I usually leave all that to my husband to handle. Most times in the past when I walk into an auto shop they throw everything at me to replace seeing me as an easy target to make money. That did not happen yesterday. In fact just the opposite. Andrew wasn't able to fix my truck and actually refused to let me pay him even though he spent his time looking at my truck and trying to repair it. My truck is now home and taken apart at our local shop and sounds like it will be a few days before repairs will be completed. I must say if I was local to this area without a doubt they would be my go to auto shop! You just can't ask for nicer or more honest people! Thank you Andrew and Sprowl's!

I figured it would be a day or two since there is no Subaru dealer within a 50 mile radius. I was offered a loaner. I was pretty impressed that the repair was finished by that afternoon. The mechanic, upon inspection of my car, suggested a transmission flush (odometer at 61000 and past due), new tire, and an oil change. I did add the trans flush but passed on the other stuff. No pressure tactics, just honest advice. One tiny critique: a bolt that holds the alternator belt shroud was over-torqued. Its a quirky Subaru thing but without any play in that bolt, the power steering pump will shudder at a stop or low speeds. (Bolts are meant to be tight, right?) I told you its quirky.

Their tow driver was to her before my husband even got there. Probably around 10 minutes after I called. The gentleman was friendly and helpful. They were my 2nd call as the first one was to another tow company in Cass that starts with a P. The man that answered and spoke with me wasn't very friendly nor seemed to really want to help. When I asked around how long he thought he'd be to get to her, he was like however long it takes me to drive there (glad he stated the obvious). So I just ended the conversation and called True's.
