This auto repair shop lacks on price transparency and unwillingness to address concerns. During a service visit, additional repairs were suggested to my partner without disclosing costs upfront. When we later disputed the charges--explaining we were never informed of the price--they dismissed our concerns and refused any refund. I have brought the truck back to Vetter twice and both times they said it was "normal" even though there is a well known and well documented problem with the 5.3 engine that has all the same symptoms mine is having. if this issue is not fixed it is likely the motor will need to be replaced. He also said the rough idle is "normal"There is a power train warranty on the truck, but the service manager called the warranty company and told them "he wasn't that concerned about it" so now the warranty company won't fix the bad lifters and the dealership won't stand behind the truck I bought from them. According to the service manager a worn lifter that is "bleeding down" is not a failed part and this is his reason for disregarding my concern that this will lead to engine failure. So thank you to the service manager at vetter for convincing the warranty company to not fix my truck and for not standing behind your product, I will never buy another car from you and will always tell people of my extremely poor experience.
