I'm very torn on this place. For so many reasons, I loved it. And for so many reasons, I didn't…read morelove it so much. I'll start with the negative so I can finish on a positive note. 1. The place didn't specialize in anything. I love that they sell goods as well as have a cafe as well as have a little 'market'. But nothing really struck me as their 'specialty'. And when you attempt to diversify your portfolio with too many products, you end up without an identity, and with no solid and outstanding products in the process. 2. The goods were expensive. A candle for 295kr? No thanks. Even though it smelled amazing. Cinnamon Spiced Tea for 120kr? No thanks. Kidding...I totally bought it. 3. The tea at the cafe was rather lousy. I guess I shouldn't say it was lousy. It had great potential. The flavor I chose was a French Caramel. The girl that served me served a tea bag with LOADS of tea in it in a tiny cup (they ran out of large ones). By the time I made it over to my table with it, the tea was sooo concentrated that I was unable to drink it. I had to get new water and attempt it again. It was ruined again, but not as bad. It just wasn't a joy to drink. 4. I ordered a Muesli rundstykker. It alone, was good. When I put the jam they gave me on it...it kind of ruined it. The jam was not my taste and too sour. Now onto the positives... 1. Most of the staff didn't speak, but Andrea, one of the workers, was super friendly and conversational. 2. The place had such a cute vibe. Perhaps geared towards a more mature audience (and by mature, I mean like 65+), I still found it to be cute and colorful. It reminded me of a spring garden. 3. The products the place sold were adorable. If they had been cheaper, I would have definitely been all over it and spent much more money than I had on that tea. 4. The patio. I have a feeling this place is much more charming in the spring and summer! As long as the Norwegian smokers (which are always in abundance) let you do your thing and enjoy fresh air every once in a while. I guess I just found this place to be okay. It was a rather overwhelming experience as the place as all over the place and had just too many 'things'. From a cheese market to cafe to selling gardening boots...the place has it all. But I'm not 100% if that is a good thing. To get here, you can take bus 32 from the center of Oslo towards Voksen Skog. You get off at CC Vest and walk up the hill. After the roundabout, it will be in a plaza on your right near the Kiwi. I wouldn't be opposed to heading back here, but certainly will use my days to explore other cafes instead in the meantime. Grønn is definitely calling my name during the warmer months though.

Known for select roasts and casual surroundings with pleasant Baristas, a shot from Kenya fragrant with bright acidity, Mocca's Pastry shows well whether one opts for flaky Pan au Chocolate or a "Flapjack" that American's might call a Blondie. The person behind the counter is always very friendly and helpful. The coffee is good. On my most recent visit, I asked about alternative milks for my latte, and the options were oat milk and...something that may have been made of peas. I had never heard of it so I chose that option. The interior is simple and aesthetically-pleasing. There is a high table and a series of two-person tables with a banquette on one side and chairs on the other. They have a merchandise section where you can buy coffee accoutrement. I've browsed it while waiting for my coffee but never bought anything. I look forward to coming back every time I'm in Oslo.
