Great movie theatre! No lines for a 5pm showing of new Star Wars film. Snacks are reasonably priced, friendly staff, clean bathrooms.

I love going to this cinema!…read more 1* For the staff : nice is an understatement. They are super friendly and have a realy sense of customer satisfaction! 1* For the place : it is a really neat and clean cinema. The seat are so comfortable! You can even choose to get a premium seat if you want to he even more comfortable :D 1* For the food : I mean you can choose to get something to nibble at the Costa Café inside the cinema or at the counter while buying your ticket. Hotdog, nachos, popcorn, a mix of all, sweets, soft drinks... You name it, they have it! 1* For the treats : this time Cinderella is on and they have some super cute slipper key ring if you get a kid meal. I am a kid so I got one :D 1* For the overall experience : So far so amazing! I recommend to come here for a night out at the movies ;) Yeaaay I cannot wait to see Cinderella now! I feel like I'm 5 years old and that doesn't bother me one single bit :D

Apparently this is one of the cheapest cinema's in Dublin - a bargain you say? that is what I am…read morealways looking for! Stillorgan cinema is rarely full, has a great little costa at the front and is always clean. They have recently done up the bathrooms too which is great, as they were a bit dated alright. The screens are not the biggest in Dublin at all, but when you compare this cinema to others in the area that you can't get tickets to, I would like the option of going to the cinema at a whim on a Friday night with a choice of films, rather than waiting around in other cinemas for the next available showing! Its my favourite cinema by far in Dublin, but that is also because its where I spent half my childhood - lots of good memories, which makes me a bit biased. Even so - I would highly recommend it! :)

This cinema is the only/main tenant of the Point Village shopping centre, and so you'll have to…read moreclimb a few empty floors to get there. On the very top floor you'll find the Odeon Cinemas as well as an adjacent Costa Café. There's also a small Ben & Jerry's ice cream stand, and that's it. This theatre has 6 screens and it's usually not too crowded, even during weekends. Midweek is the perfect time to go, as you can avail of 6€ tickets and also get free upgrades to the Premium Seats because the place won't be too busy - some people "upgrade" themselves by simply moving to those seats, but you can ask at the counter and avoid embarrassment if someone comes in with a ticket assigned to the seat you've taken. I prefer to buy the tickets online, because you can skip the queues and just use one of the machines dotted around the cinema to pick up the tickets. They also have a loyalty card, very useful if you go to Odeon cinemas frequently, it doesn't take long to get points to spend on free tickets and etc., plus you sometimes get special screenings or promotions. Staff is a-ok, but friendly enough. The crowd is mixed, I've been asked before if there's trouble with kids because of the neighbourhood, and except for the one time two young lads tried to sneak in without a ticket, I never watched another "incident" worth noting. Even though people tend to leave all their trash behind them on the seats, they manage to keep everything quite tidy all the time, which contributes to a nicer experience than in other cinemas. It's a very commercial cinema so expect to go weeks without a good film to watch. They tend to keep action blockbusters on for months and some other movies only for a week or two, so if you find something you want to watch here, don't postpone it too much.

Nice nice cinema the Odeon. The few Staff we met were nice to deal with…read more Even the clientele seemed to be good folk. Less rustling of wrappers and a lot less chatter during the movie than what I'm normally used to at other Dublin City cinemas. Leg room is excellent in the iSense screen. The deal caught my eye: parking, a meal at the hotel bar and a regular 2D show for 20 EUR. Not a bad deal. It remains to be seen if the meal is worth it. Also movies 6 EUR early in the week is a great deal. So many reasons to make the trip to the Odeon at the Point Village. I'm a fan.
