Great movie, bad service. Arrived at the cinema for a 7pm movie on a Thursday night which means it's not busy at all. There were about 8 people in the queue to get popcorn, tickets and other tasty refreshments. Not wanting to wait, I decided to purchase my tickets at one of those kiosks that print out your tickets for you. As the only showing of that movie at the time was 3D, I thought that we'd be able to collect our 3D shades on our way into the theatre.
As we're walking into the theatre, there was no attendant to check our tickets or hand out or glasses. It's 7pm at this stage and I'm wondering around trying to find someone that worked at the cinema. I finally found someone and asked about the 3D glasses when he asks, "Didn't the person who sold you the tickets tell you that you needed to buy glasses". No, the machine didn't tell me but it would have been nice if they would have put an alert on the screen as you confirmed your purchase for the ISense tickets...please purchase your 3D glasses at concessions or something of that nature.
As I had been trying to avoid the line, here I am....waiting in the back of the line to buy my glasses. For 2 people working behind the counter and there only being 2 people in each queue, I was trying to figure out for the life of me why it took me 10 minutes to get up to the counter especially when there were two other people behind the counter twiddling their thumbs. Got up to the counter, paid my €2 for my 2 sets of glasses and got out of there!
Like I said, thank goodness the movie made up for the slow and less than helpful service. And Ps. Like €12.20 isn't enough for 1 single movie ticket, now you have to pay for the 3D glasses as well. What's up with that? At least make the price higher and add the goggles in, trick me..I dont' care. I just don't want to know I'm paying extra for them! read more
