Luckily, my best friend lives down the street so we don't even need a designated driver. Perks! MJ Lords, Sheldon, and Krutz share a nice space with full barrels lining the walls, while D'Argenzio has their own tasting room (and cafe?) next door. It's not uncommon for the winemaker to be hanging around, and it's amazing how much you can learn while drinking with the boss! The coolest part is knowing these are small production wines, typically less than 100 cases each. So if you fall in love with a certain bottle, you can take it home knowing it's truly a work of hand-man art. Luscious, liquid craftsmanship at it's best. How can you say no to that? The staff there did such a great job calming her nerves and tackling her fears. She sent us a letter telling us she didn't ever want to leave. I have never heard someone talk about a zip line so much. Her counselor Reef was fantastic. We can't wait to sign her up for next summer! Thank you for teaching her there are much better things in this world than spending all your time on your phone.
