Krzyzak Eyecare was recommended more than anyone else, so I decided to give them a try, and I'm very happy that I did. It did take a few months to get in there initially, so if you are reading this and thinking about schedueling an appointment, plan accordingly. While I usually hate waiting, I considered this to be a good sign that people are happy here and that I was making a good choice. For my exam, I met with Dr. Michael Krzyzak, who I felt was very personable and did an excellent job explaining what he was doing and what the best options were for my situation. After the exam I met with the absolutely wonderful Alicia, who helped me pick out my new frames and was very thorough in making sure that she had the perfect measurements for my new progressive lenses. When someone knows what they are doing like she did, it adds a whole new level of value to buying your glasses in house, rather than online. And when I came back to pick up my new glasses, she made me feel like a VIP even though I am new to the practice. The whole experience was everything that I could have asked for and I'm so grateful to have found an eyecare team that I have complete confidence in and will now stick with.

Do you want to order some contacts? I said sure. So I got to the desk to check out and the woman behind the desk said we will bill your insurance company but today you need to pay $59.99 for a contact exam. I told her I did not have a contact exam and she said well you did and you are being charged for it. I said the contact exam is a different exam. I asked her to get the doctor and she refused!!!!! I had only one exam for my regular eyesight. She proceeded to tell me if I order contacts I gotta pay for an exam. I told her I'm not paying for any exam nor do I want any contacts. The doctor is great, but I do not appreciate trying to be ripped off for a charge for a service that I did not receive. I will never go back there again.

STERLING OPTICAL - Great Customer Service and Eye Wear!!!…read more Visit Date: Saturday, October 26, 2024 I was completely impressed with the morning greeting and enthusiasm of the team members when I entered the building. I instantly felt like I had been doing to Sterling Optical for years and it was first eye exam and new glasses shopping. I wanted t something new exciting and kind of not my usual pick for eyeglasses. Anna and other teams pulled out 4 different pairs of glasses. One being a thick red set. I didn't like the first set but another went girl in the back and brought out another red pair. And oh my gosh they were amazing. The exam process was done by the apprentice - Izzy (sorry if I spelled this wrong). was asked first if it would be acceptable for Izzy to conduct the eye exam process. I said yes. The video technician and ophthalmologist visit also went smoothly. I left this building feeling appreciated as a customer, excited to come back to get my glasses and just the overall human capacity of being KIND. Thank you so much for the first time experience! I've been having a troubling time with this office. The staff are very kind, however there has been…read moremany issues with my orders. My appointment was in November at which time I had ordered Trial Contacts and they said it would be either delivered to them or my home address. All of November and most of December passes. No calls and no deliveries. After Christmas I had called them to follow up and inquire if my contacts had arrived yet since they weren't delivered to my home. The staff said that they were delivered to their office last month (no one notified me of this), but they cannot locate them in the office. They had multiple staff searching in the back with no luck. The staff then said since they lost my contacts that they can order 2 trial contacts to make up for it. I agreed to this gingerly. They said that the contacts will arrive in one week. A week passes and I call them for a follow up, the staff reported that my contacts are on the delivery truck set to be delivered at 9pm and that they will call me the morning after. The morning after no one called. I called their office at 5pm yesterday and the staff reported "We don't have them it usually takes 2 weeks." I told them that the staff yesterday informed me that they were on a delivery truck for last night. The staff then stated "We have different tracking systems and sometimes they're not right." I am also waiting on a pair of glasses, but I had just ordered those last week so I know those take time, but it has been 2 months waiting for trial contacts.
