When I called on Sunday, I was told that they would call me back on Monday morning and the work should be warranted. I ended up calling them on Monday because I didn't hear back from them. I was told they did not warrant their sewer work and they would charge us another $425! A company that doesn't stand behind their work is not trustworthy. We are senior citizens and need our water! We cannot flush the toilets without severe gurgling in the drains. We can't shower without the toilets gurgling. We have to call another plumber because I will not give these people any more money, especially if they won't warranty their work!

Said he would call me and send me an email with estimate. Never heard a thing for over 2 months. Called the office today to see why I never received a quote as I am if I am finalizing my estimates before winter. Turns out he did not have my name, number, and email right in the system. Was told by the representative that answered the phone I would receive a quote by email. For once the quote actually came and was not $3k. Poor customer service and cannot ever keep their quotes correct.

Cue my search for someone to install a backwater valve in my drainage line to make sure that doesn't happen again. Most contractors I called either seemed uninterested in trying to work around my (admittedly horrible) schedule or promised to come out and never arrived to give me an estimate. Then I found Modern Process Plumbing. Unlike most people I've dealt with regarding home repair or construction in the past, they gave me a very specific time they'd be out for the estimate and arrived exactly when they said they'd be here. They had the estimate ready for me a couple of days later. Their work proposal was as good as or better than any of the others I received and the price was lower. Better yet, they were willing to come out and do the work on Saturday so that I wouldn't have to take a day off of work (which would make the job far more expensive for me.) They arrived to start the work around 10:30 or so and were finished installing the valve, repairing the concrete, and cleaning everything up in the basement about five hours later. They took extra care to make as little mess as possible and were still apologetic about not thinking they'd cleaned up enough when they were done even though I can't see much of a mess at all down there. I will definitely be keeping these guys in mind for any plumbing work I have in the future.

Call Buddy's back out, they now say the leak is coming from the main line going into the house, and give an estimate of almost $6000 to fix. So, let me get this straight...you want me to hire you again for a $6000 job, when i just paid you over $500 and you obviously didnt do much of anything except maybe do a pressure test which accomplished nothing and benefitted me zero?
