Back bumper on a Honda CRV popped out after a slight collision. I sent email to Oceanside with a picture and they said come in and probably would not charge anything to fix it. I brought the car in this am and in 8 minutes they fixed it and with no charge. The man who did it and the staff were all so kind, and helpful. I needed the rear hatch replaced on my 2012 Outback and after reading rave reviews on Yelp, took it to Oceanside. My experience could not have been better. I wanted to say thank you to Richard and everyone at Oceanside Collision. I had a water leak in my Explorer that caused a lot of infernal damage and was told to take it to a body shop. I called and they said to bring it in for a consultation. I got in there, they took my SUV in the back, and 30 minutes later found the leak and fixed the dry rot and DID NOT CHARGE ME!! Although my issue was not major in the sense of what a body shop can do, it was a big relief and especially to have it fixed for FREE. I just left there (May 2, 2024) and I couldn't have had better service! I have a leak in what I thought was my windshield when I go through a car wash. They explained to me that it really started/came from my sunroof (Nissan Rogue, 2021). They told me how to do a 'self repair'!! Blowing out the junk in the Roof tracks. Oceanside Collision was recommended by the parents of her roommate as someone they trust. When I tell you that working with Thomas has been a stress free experience, I'm not joking. He ensured that I knew all the details and understood that the quote was from a view only inspection. When I told him that it would take a few days to arrange someone to pick up the car, because the repair would be more than the car was really worth, he was accommodating and is even working with me for a pick when they are closed. Took a long road trip down I-95 and paused for a remote-work month in Jacksonville Beach. My 10-year-old car, which I am forced to park on the street, gets nicked and I am forced to paint the bumper every two years or so. These guys came recommended and delivered 100 percent. The worst experience ever! 4 + months of having my car for repairs from a single car accident and it still isn't properly repaired. Even though this is an Allstate shop, I was sent to other collision centers by Allstate to see if they can fix several remaining issues and no one will touch "the can of worms" of noticeably poor repair work. Any warranty means nothing when they put my car on the road as finished with a loose cradle!! I would not give them 1 star but had no choice to post this warning for anyone else in need of a collision center. I called every week for an update and was told 4 times it will be ready next week, only to find that next week there was a new story about why it wasn't done yet. Poor planning and project management. Go elsewhere! read more

I have had my 2016 Platinum F150 in several times for repairs (thanks to my kids). They have always had EXCELLENT quality and delivered to their commitments at a very fair price. Just had one of the kids get in a fender bender with our Corvette. The preferred shop for our insurance carrier was Caliber Collision. What a mistake. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Here's my story .. see if you agree. It's friday afternoon, 3pm. I called Oceanside Collision simply asking about the hood release cable I was having a lot of difficulty repairing. Having to get on the freeway early the next day, I was in a bind to get the hood to completely shut. They were kind enough to tell me to come right down, they they would be able to look at it right away. They were busy but the service manager pulled a technician off a job he was doing just to help me with my issue. It took about 45 minutes to identify and fix the cable issue so that I wouldn't have to unsafely be on the road. The kicker here is, on top of their kindness and friendly competent work .. They charged me nothing for this! Body shops often get a bad rap & usually deservingly so. It's nice to know there are honest and cutomer oriented body shops in the Beaches area. Highly recommend! Crooks. After my insurance company referred me to this shop so they would get a discount to fix, my wifes car never drove correctly and the paint was horrendous. I think I could have done a better repair in my driveway at home, and I don't even work on cars. We were told we didn't know what we were talking about, then that how it drove didn't have to do with the work the did and that "the paint color would change as the solvents escaped while it dried, which takes 6 months to a year". Yeah. We had to sell that car and take a big loss. If I could leave zero or less than zero stars, I absolutely would. Staff spit in my face! Very unprofessional and never does a job up to factory specifications. When I arrived to pick up my car on the scheduled time of pick up, my car wasn't ready. I request to take the car as it was and they wouldn't release my car. When asked to speak to the owner, I was told I would have to wait for him to call right back. Moments later several men from the shop came in the office telling me they weren't going to give me my car back and they were closing. Keep in mind I arrived at 3:30pm and had been waiting for 1.5hours to get my car and or meet with the owner. I informed the office manager that I was waiting in law enforcement. That is when the guys from the shop attempted to punch me and spit in my face. Keep in mind, I was willing to pay the balance owed and I just wanted my car back. When I finally got the car back it was covered in bondo and debris from them sanding. The car had to be completely detailed to clean up their mess. Once the car was clean, you can see the poor craftsmanship in the paint work and repaired bumper that was supposed to be replaced. read more

I took my car in at the recommendation of my boyfriend. When I got there, the older gentleman he had told need to see was no longer there so I wasn't sure what to expect. I worked with a young man who was very professional and accommodating and he arranged to have various scratches on my brand-new car taken care of in no time. You absolutely cannot tell that anything ever happened to the back right door but in fact there were some unexplained scratches up near the handle and then there were scratches around the wheel on the doorwhere I had made too tight of a turn in a parking garage. The other young man that I met in the office were all very nice people and I thought their customer service was excellent, as well as their work. Had to take my car there because of a car accident. It was not fixed properly (cosmetic AND mechanical problems), took it there a second time, was told that repairs would take only one day and that the shop will cover a rental vehicle for me for that one day. The shop took 3 days to fix the car and refused to pay for additional rental days because THEY took 3 days to fix the car instead of one as promised. The shop messed up and now I have to pay out of pocket. So they did not fix the car properly the first time and I have to pay out of pocket because the vehicle wasn't ready when they said it would be. What kind of customer service is this? read more

What a great place! The staff is very helpful and I had a great experience! My car was side swiped and sustained some paint marks and scratches on the driver's side. I received one estimate for $1500.00 from a different collision center. I took my car in for an estimate at Oceanside and Richard came out to look at the damage. He told me to hold on for a second and returned with a cloth and some lacquer thinner. He rubbed the paint and scratches and voila!! the paint and scratches came out and my car practically looked like nothing had happened! Richard didn't even charge me for his time! I went there this afternoon to get an estimate on a repair. My wife had scrapped the right wheel well when she parked in the garage. There was a lot of paint scrapped onto the car and only a little dent which is difficult to see. Justin when inside and returned with a rag with a chemical and was able to wipe the paint off.
