Heck, this business does not deserve any stars. However, with the courtesy of Yelp, Ocean View Riding Stables deserves a lousy pity star. On my first attempt, I have called the owner to schedule an appointment for two vouchers I've purchase via Groupon, but I was told that email would be the best way to get in contact. We've exchanged several emails over the past month and I still don't have a confirmed appointment! On several occasions, I even had to follow-up with her emails. I also had to repeatedly ask what are the times and dates for weekend availability, but she fails to provide an answer. And when she does decide to respond, she was rude and vague - as she did not try to accomodate any requested time slots or even provide times that are available for bookings. Not only have I ever experienced such unprofessionalism, this is by far the poorest customer service I've received! read more

Just bought a groupon for the 2 hour trail ride. It's extremely hard to make an appointment. The owner asked me to email for an appointment and so far I have sent about 8 emails and still could not confirm my appointment time. I started emailing her in August for an October appointment and I believe there are plenty of time to schedule one. Any clue or should I return my groupon? read more

I called to schedule an appointment. First off, it's a personal cell phone number (and I know this because of the automated voicemail) and it doesn't even have a professional voice message saying who you're calling, etc. The lady called right back and then told me if I wanted to make an appointment I needed to email her. I found this very odd. What business has you email them to make an appointment? I emailed her right away (literally two minutes after I got off the phone with her) to set up an appointment for the end of October. 3 days later... still no response. Really? Hello, I'm very dissapointed with this "company". The customer service has been terrible! First, it took me more than two months to make an appointment with this lady just for a horse riding lesson of an hour! . When I finally got it, I went to the place (which I couldnt find it anyways and took me 45 minutes to get there!) and when I called the lady to ask about the place, she just said "Sorry, but Im sick so the appointment has been canceled" . I asked her why she didnt even send me an email, she just kept saying sorry, there is nothing she could do now and the next appointment will be on March 2013!! (I got a groupon coupon and it expires on Feb 2013). Luckily Groupon accepted a refund request. It was completely ridiculous to wait for more than 5 months for an one hour horse riding. I'm a very loyal client of Groupon, and I never had any bad experience here until now. This company doesn't even deserve one star. Such a bad experience! read more

My wife bought a Groupon coupon for a "One-hour trail ride for two" from www.oceanviewridingstables.com aka Coastside Riding School aka Ocean View Farms. The earliest we could schedule the ride (according to Agnes Sadeghi, owner/instructor at Coastside Riding School) was for my wife and daughter to ride in November. A week before the scheduled ride I checked the business's website for the location and saw a message saying rides "Scheduling On Hold Until March 1st". I called and emailed several times to see if our ride was still on.... no reply. After March 1st 2013 I called and emailed several times to schedule.... no reply. This business owner is not trustworthy and we would not want to risk riding with her even if we could schedule an appointment. read more

I try to find some time during the weekends, but she always tell me it's unavailable. I tried several times to contact the lady after Mar.1st, but never get response. Just feel like a scam.
