We were paired with two beautiful horses, including an enormous draft horse named Buck. Kim, the trainer, was warm, welcoming, and clearly loves her horses. She guided us through the foothills and into cool forest trails, where we even stopped to visit other horses along the way. Ashley the 2nd trainer joined us on the ride, and she was kind, supportive, and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. The entire afternoon far exceeded my expectations. From the breathtaking scenery to the comfort and confidence we felt with the horses, it was unforgettable. There was no one there. I called the company. Brenda answered. I stated that our party is at the gate and waiting for a member or further instructions. She insisted that there was no booking for 12 pm. I had several confirmations, including an email. I had a difficult time trying to explain this as she kept insisting that there was no booking . I could not get a word in. When i tried to state my case, I was told that I was interrupting and was persistent about the booking mistake as though we were at fault. She gave us the option of rebooking. Since we were from out of town and had driven a distance, we said that 2 pm same-day would be okay. And that we would be back. She recommended a couple of areas to see, which we appreciated. We came back before 2 pm. No one was there. Called 3x, left voicemails, sent an email, sent a text. No answer until perhaps 2:45 pm with a text stating that a text-notification was sent. When I reviewed the text, it stated that we can reschedule or get a refund. However, it made no reference to what needed to be rescheduled: the 12 pm reservation (which was already rescheduled) or the 2 pm reservation. There was no further explanation. No apology for a second same-day cancellation. I understand if an emergency situation arises. But the least they could do was communicate BOTH of the cancellations better and more clearly. Answering phone calls would have also been a good business model. Several calls, voicemail, an email, texts from a customer only to be deflected. The owner needs to take accountability. I do not appreciate the gaslighting.

You can tailor your horse's diet the way you want (with choices of alfalfa, grass hay, and oat hay) and they will even supplement your horse (you provide) with no charge. My horse was out in pasture right and they limit the # of horses to 8 in the 7 acre field. They also have free trailer parking (although the parking lot gets VERY crowded during the weekends). The three stars are from the following negatives: snobby boarders. Amazing how just a few people can ruin your experience. Just because my horse is in pasture and yours looks like Malibu Barbie's horse protected from head to toe in blankets doesn't mean that I'm lower on the totem pole. The road going up to the ranch will DESTROY the shocks on your car. It's also very narrow and I have gotten my 3/4 ton truck STUCK on the side when I was letting a huge trailer pass by (they had to pull it out with a tractor). No back shoes on horses in pasture. I endurance ride, I need shoes.

When the party date arrived the place was decorated and the girls had a wonderful time taking turns riding a horse and a pony. They even had a horse kissing booth which the girls found fun and engaging. It was a wonderful experience with smiles all around. I plan on having my younger daughters party there in a few years. I also discovered they have weekly ridings and even a Halloween riding event so I will definitely be bringing the kids back soon.
