Called because our pool heater wasn't coming on. There were no appointments available, but were able to get a tech if we were willing to receive service at 7am, which was fine for us. Randy arrived promptly at 7, and quickly discovered a loose wire. He cleaned the debris and explained the pros/cons of heat pumps and informed me it would be very easy to add wifi to my system. I appreciate his honesty, and he answered some other questions I had, showing me he knew the trouble shooting codes. I wouldn't hesitate to call him for any problems I have with my pool equipment. He knows his stuff, and does not try to scare you into spending money on unnecessary work. read more

Ocean Springs Tech did a fantastic job renovating my pool and spa waterfall, and decking. I highly recommend them for high-quality pool work! Why they stand out: Outstanding Consultation: Armando arrived fully prepared with a camera and documentation. He thoroughly explained the timeline, scope, and process, which immediately gave me peace of mind. True Craftsmanship: The crew completed the project on time and demonstrated incredible skill. Their attention to detail was impressive, and they kept the workspace clean every day. Excellent Office Support: Elizabeth in the office was my go-to person for invoices and paperwork. She was incredibly patient with all my questions and made the administrative side seamless. If you need a pool and decking overhaul, do yourself a favor and reach out to Armando and the team at Ocean Springs Tech. I am so glad that I found them. My pool looks amazing! read more

This company is fantastic!! We have had them for our weekly cleaning company for almost 2 yrs now. Recently we decided it was time to resurface our extra large community pool from plaster to quartz. The process of this took many discussions, we we offered many options and the research put in by Armondo as to a perfect finish for our mineral pool was superb and extensive. The end product was amazing. On schedule, informed of fixes and cost before anything was done, incredibly polite company to work with from the office to the crew to the owner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Armando and his entire crew did a fabulous rehab of our pool, spa and pool deck that had severely deteriorated over the last 25 years. His crew also paved over an area by the pool so that we could have more lounge chairs for our sun worshipping kids and grandkids. Elizabeth was always quick to answer any questions we had during the project and was very helpful in getting approval from our HOA. We would recommend them to anyone doing a similar project. read more

We needed our pool spillway re-tiled and restored. It was a small job but important visually. Using yelp's project feature, I reached out to 8 companies for bids. While Ocean Springs bid was higher than some, Armando's communication and esthetic sense of what was required was compelling. Elizabeth, in their office, communicated clearly and promptly and Armando came by 3 times during the course of the work - that only took a day - to make sure the tile cutting and laying was to our satisfaction. His guys were excellent and communicative as well. The job was done perfectly. read more

We want to thank Armando and his team for doing beautiful work on our pool deck, front and back door stoops. They were in rough shape, and he helped us pick the perfect colors and materials. He cares about details and made sure that we were informed about how things would be done. His crew is very professional and detail oriented. The cleanup was top notch and we feel lucky to have found such a great company. Thanks to Armando and his team! read more

I was very reluctant about who to hire to re plaster my pool. It had been 2 years it was sitting. I shopped around and came across Ocean Springs, everything from the office to the hard workers who did the demolition, plaster, tile, cleaning, etc were beyond fantastic. The service was so fast I didn't get a chance to process how it happened. Liz who mainly was in communication with me was very reliable and honest over the phone and text! She made sure all of my questions were answered and I was properly notified when they would be doing the work. I was able to provide the tile of my preference and the value I paid for them to install was fair. The whole job in general was 100% worth it. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs work done on there pool. Thank you guys again. Before and after photos posted. read more

I contacted this company to clear the jets in my spa. I already had a good idea of what the issue was, but instead of listening, they focused on inspecting unrelated areas and insisted the problem was due to dirty filters--even though I clearly explained the jets weren't working even when the filters were clean. Eventually, they emailed me saying they weren't the right company for the job--which, in hindsight, was accurate. My regular pool guy came shortly after, vacuumed out water from the spa's airline, cleared out debris in the jets, and now they're working perfectly. I was surprised that a company presenting itself as professional couldn't diagnose such a simple issue, and even more disappointing that they didn't take the time to listen to the customer who already understood the problem. read more

Armando and his team were great. He had some helpful suggestions in term what to do with our huge 40 year old pool. We ended up shrinking it into a SPOOL and adding grass around it to cool down the backyard. We could not enjoy the yard in the summer, which was all concrete and rock, because it was just too hot. We also relocated the pool equipment away from the patio. He added a wall to hide it. It all turned out much better than I expected. We have a new spa/pool we can enjoy and it will be much more efficient to use in the summer and winter. Armando was always in communication and did not hesitate to call me if he had questions or comments about the work being done. His team was able to help with the irrigation and landscaping installation as well. I can't say enough good about his honesty and integrity. I would highly recommend his company and I would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Ocean Springs Tech did an outstanding job with our pool repairs and refinishing. They were the extremely professional, prompt and courteous. They came out and looked at my problem, gave me a very reasonable quote, which I am supporting on the Landlord. He will be making the final decision. Armando and his team impressed us with not only the finished product, but with how attentive they were through-out the process. Armando created a group text between his office staff, himself and us so we could stay involved in all communication. He came by our house just about every day and talked us thru every step, from the initial meeting, thru the plans & permits and thru all phases of the work. He even recommended a great landscaper to help us with our ideas. (I think the landscaper is now working for Armando.) Armando made us feel like we were important to him and that doing the work right and on time was just as important to him as it was to us. We are thrilled with the finished product. The project involved refreshing and upgrading the old pool. I've attached pictures of before, during and after as they tell the story better than I could. We use the pool and spa every day and our grandchildren are now excited to come to our house! read more

Ocean Springs Tech - The golden loves the pool by Ocean Springs - Pool Cleaners Near Me - Desert Hot Springs, California

This company just remodeled our swimming pool and Spa and we couldn't be happier with the final product. We contacted them and 3 other companies so do similar work and choose this company after meeting with the President and CEO, Mr Armando Rodriguez. He was so professional and made such wonderful recommendations We chose his company to do the work needed to remodel our 20+ year old pool and spa. Here are two pictures of the finished product. It's fabulous! Mr. Rodriguez was on site frequently and his team of craftsmen were always on time every day and he or the workers continued to keep us updated on what was going on and what was to follow each day. It was finished in the timeframe we were told and we always had a point of contact if we had any questions. His office staff is exceptional as well, especially Flor Ocelotlf! She quickly sent itemized proposals for our approval when needed and kept us informed of previously agreed to payment dates and charges and written changes/additions along the way. This was our very best remodel experience EVER. You will love their work and personal service! read more

I recently requested a quote from this company and they responded quickly by dispatching a team member to compose a quote for monthly pool and spa maintenance. I was shocked and dismayed that the bid I received was almost $300 per month for twice weekly maintenance, well above the norm for this area of Rancho Mirage. My pool and spa are much smaller than my neighbors as I've got a larger back yard. In the decade I've lived here I've yet to pay more than $150 a month for the same 2 visits per week. Filter cleaning has always been an additional $25-$45 charge per quarter. I do realize that chemicals such as chlorine have increased in price but that hardly substantiates such a price gouge for the area. When I stated this to the accountant who submitted the bid they responded that their company services larger pools and that their technicians are CPO (certified pool operators) which I assume means that they can charge more for their services, which is a bunch of baloney. I suggest that if they don't wish to be competitive in the "residential" pool and spa maintenance then they shouldn't be advertising for new accounts in Yelp. read more

Ocean Springs Tech has been the company that is in charge with the cleaning and repairing of all the equipment for two pools. 2 spas and one water fountain in our property. Armando, start working her with his team about 13 years ago. His workers are very professional looking and always very polite to our tenants. I know that there are anyother big companies over there trying to beat the price, but in my experience, that always comes with a drop in quality. I like the fact that I can just pick up the phone and call directly Armando or the girls in the office and tell them directly what my issue/concern it is, without waisting time to say every time - who I am, where I am calling from, what is the address for the property etc etc. Also, I want to offer a 5 star to Armando, the owner of the company. Is always a pleasure to work with him, and also he is very knowledgeable. When the main line for the water fountain got broken, he manage do re-routed without the need of opening the street (as other repair techs recommended). Her managed to help us have again a very beautiful water feature at the entrance on our property for a fraction of the cost from teh estimates received from other companies. I strongly recommend Armando and his company - you will not be disappointed. Florin Iftode - Property Manager for San Jacinto Village Apts in Palm Springs, CA. read more

I was working for a pool and spa company about 4 weeks ago when I was contacted by a recruiter attempting to poach me. I spoke with them and was intrigued by the increase in pay and all the benefits they offered. I was asked to apply to their posting on indeed which I read multiple times. There it was stated "Monday to Friday" and right next to it "weekends as needed." Before I started I informed them Friday my first week would not be possible since I had a Doctors appointment scheduled. Well I worked my first week and Saturday rolls around and I wake up to text asking why I wasn't at work. Keep in mind they do not post a physical schedule or at least I was not shown one they do not communicate a schedule and I was under the impression that the job was "Monday to Friday." I go in Monday the second week and was told there was not enough work for me and that I can take the day off. Tuesday I am told that I am fired for no call no Show. How the hell was I supposed to assume that Not only was the posting on Indeed Inaccurate but also be clairvoyant enough to Know to come in when weekends are "as Needed" I can't Know when weekends are needed with out being told the weekend was needed. They do not have any way for me to obtain the knowledge of my schedule without having some sort of physic ability to know to contact and ask. and even so that's not my job to ensure that schedules are known. This was a failing on them and when I made all this aware they couldn't care less. This is a horrible way to service a community and treat some one who honestly just wants to work. So if you want to hire a company that is willing to steal a hard working employee from another company and then fire them for their own short comings then that's your choice. but I think people care how a company treats it's employee's. They didn't just cost me a job they cost me two Jobs with their lack of organization and unwillingness to listen to reason and correct the real failing here. read more

Ocean Spring is by far the best pool service company that we have used over the past 12 years in the desert. We were in need of a significant repair to the gunite and pebble tech which was botched by two companies. Ocean Springs came in and diagnosed the problem, made the repair and you can't tell where the repair was made. We have had no issues with the repair for close to a year. They have been servicing our pool, spa and equipment on a monthly basis and we have had excellent service. The equipment is running well and the pool and spa are maintained meticulously. The staff in the office is extremely responsive to questions and concerns and they follow up to make sure you are satisfied. I recommend this company without reservation. read more
