I am extremely disappointed with the customer service experience I received…read more On July 21, I booked a manicure and pedicure through the salon's online booking system, with a total value of approximately $200. My appointment was scheduled for 9:00 a.m., and I received an initial acceptance notification, followed by a confirmation request earlier this week, which I completed. I also received another notification the day before my appointment and assumed it was simply a reminder. When I arrived for my appointment this morning, I discovered the salon did not open until 10:00 a.m. After checking the most recent notification, I realized my appointment had apparently been cancelled the previous day. I acknowledge that I should have opened and reviewed the final message more carefully. However, I believe the larger issue is that an appointment time was made available that could not be honoured, and no one contacted me directly to apologize for the inconvenience or attempt to rebook me promptly. When customers have scheduled services well in advance and confirmed their attendance, a last-minute cancellation deserves more proactive communication. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that customer service was not a priority. As a result, I would not feel comfortable recommending this salon to others. Additionally, the appearance of the salon entrance was concerning. The hallway contained multiple fly traps covered in flies taped to the windows and hanging from the ceiling. Regardless of the reason, it did not create a clean or welcoming first impression.

She consulted with me regarding what type of look I wanted and she gave me an even better result that I had hoped for. I already have naturally long lashes (blonde though!) and my lashes hitting my glasses was a real problem. MK gave me a full set of lashes that don't brush my glasses and look really great. Of course, when you are having anything done to your eye area, you want the technician to be very gentle. MK's touch was SO light, I could barely feel that she was working on my lashes - I appreciated this very much! I will return to MK Lash, as her service was excellent and the lashes have lasted very well.

When I arrived, we discussed options for my lashes and she had several recommendations based on my lifestyle, my current lashes and wanted to ensure the look I chose would suit me. I appreciated she knew what she was talking about and was very educated rather than just choosing between 3 options like other places I'd been to. I learned Dawn was the first person around Langley to be doing lashes, so clearly she had tons of experience! She was so, so nice to talk to while she put my lashes on. It was a comfortable experience, I had no stinging at all, even when I opened my eyes after they were finished. The best part, I couldn't feel that I had lashes on. My past experiences were feeling like I had something constantly in my eyes and weighing my lids down, but being reassured 'that's normal', where Dawn said 'nope, you shouldn't ever feel them on your eyes!!' I was given a small brush and shown how to prolong the lashes and they truly lasted way longer than precious lashes. I've been to her again for a touchup and got to choose a different look based on what I did last time and love them even more! Please, please go see these girls! So professional, extremely well priced and worth every penny!
