I wish I could give it zero stars. Awfully distasteful and the staff was extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, and overall annoying.

I had never heard of Sea Love until I saw an advertisement on Facebook for a Psych trivia night. As…read morea "psych-o" (a Psych fan), I was all in! It was not a trivia night like I was used to, but it was awesome! It was more of a candle making session 3 rounds of Psych trivia questions. They had themed mocktails and a made themed candle! It was so fun! The candle making process was SO much fun too! They get you set up with an apron and then show you how to mix and match scents that you might want. There are over 100 different scents to choose from! You also get to choose which size/color your candle jar you want. The pricing goes by the size of the candle, with the small ones starting around $38. After you choose your scents and jar, you go to your seat and then they instruct you on pouring the right amount of oil(s) for the size candle you are making. As you pour your oil until you get it to the right blend that you want, you stir the oil in the little measuring cup. After that, they help you with attaching the wick in the bottom of the jar. After that, you get some time to name your candle, make your label for it, and put the scent mixture label on the bottom. The last step is pouring in the oils and the hot wax! They give you a beaker of the hot wax depending on the size jar of your candle. You pour your oils in first and the hot wax on top. You then mix the wax and oils until they are well blended. After that happens, they give you a pair of "chopsticks" to put around your wick to keep it standing up while it curates. It takes 2 hours to curate. If you don't have the 2 hours, you can come back another day to pick it up. This was such a cool experience! I want to do a girls night out with it! In addition to this, the staff was AMAZING! Lily was super crazy helpful. She ran the trivia night. I won the trivia night in the time slot I was at. The prize was a wax melt and some popcorn. I ended up purchasing some other things to bring home!

Apparently, this place is the norm for a Spencer's gifts. Warning: don't bring the kids!…read more We needed a present for my niece's 19th birthday. A few of her friends said she hangs out here and it would be a great place for us to shop. PRO TIP: If you're in your sixties and your niece is turning nineteen, this is NOT the place to shop. I'm so glad we didn't run in to her here. BTW, I will get even with each and every friend of hers. If your unfamiliar, the items here can be very risqué and raunchy. Funny shirts, body jewelry and adult "toys". I'm sure it's full of pop culture, but old folks would probably find it offensive. We ended up buying a Christmas sweater, a Hunter throw and a couple boxes of almond crunch pockey. Safe gifts for a young lady. More of a versatile place to shop than I gave credit for. A small store. It is very clean. The workers were very helpful and polite (They had to be laughing their asses off upon our exit). It's incredibly crowded so it must be "in" with the "in crowd" 01/22

Other employees I have not had great experiences with but this just makes the store feel very unwelcoming and rude in general. Disappointing.

This review is for a visit in store I had toward the end of August 2020…read more I came in to purchase a pair of Doc Martens as a gift. Unlike when shopping for footwear for myself there were multiple pairs in multiple in the styles available. The staff were available to discuss the fit, sock options and offer the accessory care kit. Social distancing and safety procedures were in place including all staff properly wearing a mask. What made this visit even better is that I was able to find a pair of adidas that I liked. As to no surprise the size I needed was not available in store. The staff was able to process an order with free delivery to my home. Overall an easy shopping experience.

So, I just tried to return a pair of Vans I bought for my eight year old daughter. Sounds simple…read moreright? I couldn't believe the attitude I received!!! I like most of the world have returned things before but I walked out angry this time. I explained that I wanted to return or possibly get a store credit because I didn't have my receipt. I planned on giving them the card that I used to buy them so they could pull the purchase up and proceed. The shoes had been worn once and hurt my daughters feet. They said with attitude "they've been worn we don't take anything back that have been worn". My first thought was... I've had shoes before that have hurt before but I had to wear them first before I knew they wouldn't work out. Sometimes they feel ok in the store but then once you wear them for a bit they start to hurt. They also won't take the "non worn" shoes back without the box. I asked the guy if this was a new policy? He replied with asking me "would you want to buy used shoes". I was like say what!!! I just started walking out but I wanted to answer his question first. I said no I wouldn't want to buy used shoes and I didn't appreciate the attitude. I wanted to write this review to warn people about this policy of bringing the box and the brand new shoes to the store if you want a return or a credit. I worry for this young person. If he doesn't clean up the "tude" his life will be difficult. People don't want to deal with that. He needs to remember that you get what you give. Ok I'm done venting. Thank you!!!
