When I completed the return process, the statement reflected a $5 FEDEX "drop-off fee". What? I contacted Merrell and a snippy customer service woman stated that it was FEDEX's charge, not theirs. What? After I asked her to explain how that is "free", she huffed and agreed to credit me $5... "one time only." Wow, won't be shopping at Merrell ever agin.

Accessories include outdoor items such as hats, socks, hiking bags, and bandannas. Discounts are not nearly as good as they were when the location originally opened. Prices on my last few visits have been on par with a good sale at a non outlet store. For that, I am taking away a star. They have the selection, but no longer have the edge on pricing. For me, this makes them more of a check them out while I am at the outlet mall rather than a destination store.

As soon as we walked in, the only greeting we received from the woman working there was "I'm closing in 3 minutes.", basically telling us to leave. I've worked in retail a lot in the past and we were NEVER allowed to ask people to leave the store because it was getting close to closing time. Old Navy is conveniently located in the mall just across the street. I was in need of several pair of new pants specifically corduroy pants. Upon entering I walked to the rear of the store to get to the men's department. Back in the right corner was a clearance rack with pants on it. Corduroy pants! Behind that was the changing room. Also they actually had my size in several colors. I found and tried on a black and a gray pair. They fit which was great news! While in the back of the store I spoke to a friendly and helpful employee. He kept track of my pending purchase as I went to the men's bathroom. The sign said you can not take clothes in there. When I was ready to leave the same employee directed me to the moveable checkout counter on a rolling cart near the front of the store. I got 2 pair of pants for less than $12 each. Soma is one of the best places to get bras. However, when I visited this location last week, I was…read morenot impressed with the sales staff. The woman that was helping me did not know what a bralette was when I asked to see one. I had to show her a picture in the Soma catalog. The catalog also indicated there was a 15% sale off your entire purchase but she said that didn't apply to individual sales but later told me that I was eligible. In an effort to sell me more than one bra she made it sound like this was going to be the only bra I would wear and would need more even though we had a conversation about the number of Soma bras I had previously purchased. The last objectionable thing she did was bash their main competitor (Viictoria's Secret), saying how inferior their bras are. I really dislike salespeople that have to resort to competitor bashing to try and make a sale. All-in-all, Soma still remains the place I prefer to buy my bras, but the sales staff at this location could be better.

Recently, the fabric quality at Chicos has really gone downhill. These tops were a jersey type fabric and a slub knit cotton. In the last week, I have given away 3 tops with tags (I usually buy multiple tops at 1 time) totaling over $120, I was told at the store by a very unhelpful employee (blond curly hair) that if I launder any item they become unreturnable.
