Why shop online & have to wait for parts etc. when you can buy from Hamilton HOBBIES & HAVE IT NOW and if you need to return something you do not have to wrap it, drive to the post office and wait for ??? long to receive it back. I believe in supporting my local businesses as long as they are in business. AND their prices are most of the time LOWER than online. Dennis M.

Coming from racing drones for the last four years we have some rc knowledge and know how to work on stuff. Well as soon as we walked into the completely empty store we were given attitude by the lady at the computer with the first question. We asked about tires for our trucks, she point towards the back and said over there. So I asked about a receiver for one of my controllers so I could bind another truck to the same radio, she then told me that's not possible, even though I got the info from traxxas website. After we got done looking at tires we had more questions and wanted to ask about different parts. She told us how her brother and dad have been doing this for XX years and that SHE knows what she is talking about. It was overall a very awful experience and definitely drives customers to spend money online rather than deal with people like her. We think it would have been a better experience had the brother or dad been there instead of the barcode scanner. Who seemed to do bad at her keeping stock job, since it would show in stock but it wasn't anywhere to be found. Would have definitely spent more there.

Great location, and it was fascinating to talk with the staff about some of the Lego displays that…read morewere custom done for display in the store by other employees. Highlights included the Cincinnati skyline featuring "first in Ohio" (this Bricks & Minifigs was the first one in the state) and an Ohio-shaped wall display in the colors/design of the state flag. They had a nice selection of new and used kits and accessories (stands for completed kits, lights, etc). They also have a bulk brick area with different sized bags/containers to select from, and a make your own custom minifig area with an assortment of pieces from which to choose. The party room at this location is a really nice size; looks like it would be a great place for a party. This is located in a small shopping center with a good sized parking lot.

Posted on Facebook 1-20-2025:…read more The store is nice and looks well stocked and clean, but I had a bad experience with one of the workers. I went to the store with a box of loose pieces thinking they were Lego before the prominent design they use today, and wondering if they have a recycling program at least. An Indian guy, who is a worker there, greeted me and asked what I was looking for and told him my quandary and looked at my bricks. He decided to just scan it with his phone and use a Google app and tell they aren't Lego. I was shocked about it as I thought they were and showed me even the firefighter figures were from the 90s, and I saw the date on them and they were made in 1998. So, I asked what they were and he said he has no idea. I thought he would look more into it but chose to simply say they aren't Lego. So I said thank you and proceeded to walk out, as it's clear I'm not getting any help from this, but then the Indian guy preceded to walk towards me behind the counter thinking we're not done. I thought we were, but he seem to be pressing me about the bricks. Asking me what I was there for or do research too, even though I can do that on my own time but the guy is acting a bit rude. I only came here to the store to look at Bionicle stuff, and the loose bricks was another objective to coming here. I imagine the other staff members are nice, but that guy just rubbed me the wrong way. If you have any big lego questions at all, don't look to this place. Treat it as a regular store to buy lego. As of 4-30-2026: I revisited this place again, a lady treated me nicely at the front and the inventory is great but I think I'm seeing the same guy as before the last time I was there. Might be a manager or a senior worker. He appeared standoffish and is in the back of the place behind the same glass display as before, right across the build-a-minifig table where there is a rule about not messing with the torso arms (weirdly specific), so not really interested in making one if he is gonna keep leering at people. I do like I can get individual pieces and clothing, and there are a lot of minifigs, but honestly I feel put off by this location by that one experience I had of that associate. What makes this a bit irksome to me is that someone managing the social media of these locations seem to have gotten rid of the facebook group page of this specific location and my review I made of this place has been made to a regular post. So I feel the store is getting some criticism, and they seem to be hiding it. Anyway, I rather just go to Dayton Brick Shop, they have a west Chester location I like and the people have been informative at times and very nice (Also their pick-a-brick and create-a-minifig tables are bigger). But, the place does get a lot of customers, so it makes good money. I know there are good people working there, just that one guy really soured things for me. Be weary of who you talk to there.

Every time, if I have any questions or need anything, they're squirrelly and running around but once you've pegged someone, they try to help you. The problem is, more often than not, the store doesn't have what I need! My most recent example was purchasing a snow globe... But they had no snow! Who does a thing like that? It's cruel. The organization of the store is confusing, too. Choppy. Like a maze. I don't WANT to go to Hobby Lobby. Ever. Michaels, get it together. I want to buy things from you! So many other locations are great. I want my local location to be great. Go here for basic things. They have some pretty helpful coupons available on their app and classes at the store. If you don't want to go to Hobby Lobby, order online or find another store for fancier things. Good luck. Don't expect snow.

Three other customers walked up and left while I was on the phone with Michaels corp. while Brandy from corp said they could have closed early to clean up, the crew walked out at 7:03pm. I asked how they could operate with doors locked. She then said the doors should be open. I asked for her supervisor and she said supers don't work weekends. Nice
