I dropped my coat off by itself for a regular dry cleaning. When I arrived on the date it was supposed to be ready, I was informed that they had lost the belt that cinched my coat and that they were looking for it and for me to come back three days later to see if they had found the belt. When I arrived three days later, they still had not found the belt. The employee told me that I could continue waiting, I could go ahead and take the coat as it is without the belt, or I could file a claim for the missing belt. I decided to continue to wait because the employee said that a lot of times the pieces are found in production. After a little bit more time, I arrived again to check on the belt and pick up my coat. I was informed that they still had not found the belt. My options were to leave the coat there and file a claim for the whole coat or file a claim just for the belt. I decided to file a claim, but did not want to leave my whole coat there so I filed a claim just for the belt, but to be clear the coat is not very useful without the belt that cinches the coat together. After I filed a claim for the belt, I was still required to pay the $27.70 that it cost to dry clean my now useless coat. I will never be using this dry cleaning service ever again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who values their clothing. Their customer service policies are horrific and problematic to say the least.

I was in a wedding that was less than 3weeks away. My dress had just come in (which took 6 months…read moreto arrive). It was suppose to be an off the shoulders. But my neckline was cut lopsided, the sleeves were too small plus they were sewn on too close to the chest part (it looked similar to a dolphin clapping its fins pretty much), the chest area was too big but the back was too small, extremely snug around the waist, & the zipper did not work properly. Every alternation's shop within Montgomery, AL had told me No. I didn't know anything about Patsy's or Prattville,AL. I found them online, I called, & I was told to bring the dress in. I was an Out of State grad student at the time. I can't remember the lady's name but I think she said she was Patsy's daughter. I brought the dress in on a Friday it was ready Sunday evening y'all. She was truly my fairy Godmother. She definitely Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo-ed on that dress. She also let me study on their patio (Omg such a beautiful scenery by the way) as she did some final touch ups. I will travel near or far to have my alternations done at Patsy's again. She was super nice and new exactly what needed to be done. They were also inexpensive. I THANK GOD FOR THAT LADY for making an ugly dress so beautiful. Definitely worth it!!

They left huge railroad tracks down all the sleeves, on ALL THE SHIRTS! On one shirt I had asked them not to crease the collar at all (because I use it for service dress)... they creased it with starch! The second time, I decided to try a separate location and was even more disappointed. They flat out LOST my Heavy Blues V-Neck Sweater. The first time I went to pick up my uniforms the desk attendant (who mumbles and has a horrible attitude) said they had shipped it to another store and to come back later. I came back 4 - 5 days later (as directed) and the same attended (again with the horrible attitude) tells me they lost it so I should look in the mail for compensation check... I GOT A LETTER FOR STORE CREDIT that reads as follows: "Again we would like to apologize for the inconvenience this matter has caused you and appreciate your patience and understanding in dealing with this unfortunate situation. Store Credit has been issued in your name at the store, this credit has no expiration date and has been entered into the store computer to insure you of full payment $47.00. Jim Massey's is committed to providing the very best drycleaning & Laundry service available in Central Alabama. We proud of our excellent service, and you should expect it at all times. We apologize for our failure and we are working very hard to insure that it does not happen again. Clusters are the backbone of any company and I hope we have satisfied you in such a way that we will continue to service all of your dry-cleaning & laundry need in the future." Yes grammatical and capitalization errors included! How is this compensation! I don't want them every touching my uniform items again! On top of that how is store credit going to help me acquire another sweater? If anything they should be paying me $50.00 for a $3.00 inconvenience fee for their ignorance, for making me drive up there twice to pick up the lost item and again tomorrow morning to argue about "compensation!" This is completely unprofessional and unsatisfactory. Use the Base DryCleaners or purchase your own at-home steamer, dealing with company is not even worth your time, effort, or business. Period.
