The owners Samantha and Mark started this business in 2010 and have a mission of creating a healthier future. The best part is they work with local farmers to get all their produce and find multiple ways to give back to the community. They also have their Support a School program where they donate 5% back from every box sold. They have different boxes to choose from and different sizes as well. Some boxes are fruits only and others include fruits and vegetables. I went with the half size fruit and vegetable box. Before delivery, you get an email of what is going to be inside the box and the best part for me is, it includes recipes of what you can make with the items in your box. My box included an avocado, pears, apples, oranges, broccoli, cilantro, pink chard, and lettuce. One of the recipes included Baked Broccoli Parmesan Fritters which I am definitely going to try out because I always need new ideas for meals with having two small children. The delivery fee for their boxes is $6.95 or you can pick up the boxes for free at many of their local pickup locations. The service area covers the greater Los Angeles Area , San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, and Conejo Valley so definitely something for everyone!

Some of the vendors I can list off the top of my head include: Earth & Egg Farms (always a long line), Freshly Made (sells coffee, matcha - they also have delicious pastries at another booth close by). Without knowing all the vendors by name, they sell good-quality avocado oil, nut butters and jams, juicy fruits such as white peaches, grapefruits, oranges, farm-raised zucchini, fresh basil and parsley, and beautiful flower arrangements. There's also live music, which adds such a fun and lively atmosphere while you look around! When you get hungry, they sell very refreshing agua frescas, pupusas, galbi/chicken bowls, chocolate covered strawberries, fruits wrapped in mochi, freshly roasted peanuts, and more!

The products are fresh, all natural, and of course, locally grown. The staff was helpful, and I learned they don't use harmful chemical pesticides or fertilizers, which is a huge plus. The farm stand is a nice size, shaded from the sun, with beautiful views of the Fallbrook hills. Peaceful too! I purchased a few jars of fresh honey and a sourdough loaf, the honey on toasted sourdough was a delicious treat. I also picked up some crisp green beans. They had a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, all of which looked fresh and beautifully grown. I'll be back when I need more fruits and vegetables. They now offer a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) subscription too. I'm looking forward to trying one, since I already get a CSA box from a nearby farm. The flowers are so beautiful and the field is huge with lots of different flowers to choose from. There is a sunflower field next to the colorful that you can pick as well. The lavender garden is on the opposite side of the farm with there different lavenders to choose from. To get to the strawberry field there is a tractor ride that takes you there and back. The field is super big with lots of delicious and super sweet strawberries. We were given 15 minutes to pick as much strawberries as we can as long as the container is able to close fully. There is an area with lot of different animals in the center of the farm which you can look at. It was really sunny and hot when we went and there's very little shade to hide away from the sun. I was very glad that I brought an umbrella with me.

I saw lemongrass, hanging veggies (totally don't know what they call in English) : ) "Bau", aloe vera, green oranges, banana plants with flowers blooming chickens picking food on the ground, figs, sugarcane, peppers...etc. It is free to enter and it's 5 minutes walking from the Orange Balloon area. They have activities schedule for the Food Lab on the Irvine website. There used to be a big Orange field next to it and fruits were donated to Food Banks but now lands are renovated for recreational activities and homes.
