When we all got back and walked in, we were greeted by Hailey. She was so bubbly and genuinely excited to help my daughter find the dress. She was incredibly sweet and spoke to my daughter, Anyssa, in such a sincere and warm way that it immediately made her feel comfortable. Since I work in customer service myself, I can easily recognize when someone goes above and beyond and Hailey absolutely did. My sister and everyone with us agreed. Hailey, you are in the right job. Fast forward Thursday, you had SEVERAL of those new dresses already pulled aside. You listened, observed and knew where my mind was going on style and fit. The turnaround time for our wedding is less than 6 months. I had a clear vision a classic ballgown for the ceremony and a more fitted modest look for the reception. When I arrived it was just me and my maid of honor. My consultant, Ashley was friendly at first but as the appointment went on I noticed she kept checking the time. I understand there's a 90 minute limit but it made the experience feel rushed. It also felt very sales driven similar to a car dealership where you're encouraged to purchase that same day for a "special discount." Maybe that's common in bridal shops. I only tried on five dresses, and while I did end up purchasing two of them I regret not being able to explore more options or browse the racks myself. Toward the end it felt like my consultant wasn't interested in pulling additional dresses and my maid of honor picked up on the same vibe. The dresses did arrive on time, and I love both gowns, they are beautiful and high quality. However the pickup experience was even more disappointing. The person assisting me was not very welcoming and the overall service felt dismissive. You're given 60 minutes for pickup but I only took me about 20 minutes to try on both dresses. I asked to try a veil with my ceremony dress and while she handed me one she made a snarky comment saying I wouldn't have time to try on any others and would need to book another appointment. This was said only 10 minutes into my appointment, which felt unnecessary and off putting. At that point I just grabbed my dresses and left. I spent about $3,000 here and while I do love my dresses the customer service did not match the price point or expectations. Would I recommend Luv Bridal? Unfortunately, no. There are so many bridal shops in OC/LA, and if I could go back I would have explored other options instead of relying solely on reviews. I hope this feedback encourages the team to improve. Brides are spending thousands of dollars and even though each appointment may only last an hour, that time should feel special. Every bride deserves that experience.
