My mom and I went into the store on a Monday and you were so welcoming. We tried on dresses in several styles so I could get a feel for what I liked. Quite incredibly several were contenders (disclaimer, actual dress I said yes to not pictured). Leaving Monday I felt super optimistic and we planned to come back to work with you on Thursday with my mom, future mother in love and friends. I went home Monday and proceeded to look on your website and took pictures of additional gowns I wanted to try on for Thursday. Fast forward Thursday, you had SEVERAL of those new dresses already pulled aside. You listened, observed and knew where my mind was going on style and fit. Above and beyond to come in and that you'd already prepared some other options. Wild to say but all the incredible selections I tried on, on Monday were compounded by 3 additional top contenders on Thursday when I said "yes to the dress". The turnaround time for our wedding is less than 6 months. I value Stephanie's intentionality as we explored my options and trying on things that were either in stock or could be made in time or rush made in time. She genuinely believes that brides shouldn't have to pay a fortune for alterations, and that mindset is so refreshing and appreciated. We were so close to finishing our alterations until I had to postpone the wedding once the pandemic started. At that time, Shelley kindly offered to hold onto my two dresses at her place. After a year, once weddings slowly started resuming, I reached out and told her I would pick it up to make room for her other clients, and she left detailed notes inside my garment bag so that we'd know where we had left off, and how much of the fees had already been paid. I reached out to her assistant in January 2022, and was easily able to resume where we left off with alterations. And I finally just got married late February !! By the way, the fees that Shelley charges are absolutely reasonable and probably the lowest you could find anywhere! Best of all, Shelley is so kind and funny, and made me feel so comfortable every time I came to visit. She knows her stuff, and does great, honest work. Both of my dresses were hemmed and tailored so well, and I'm so grateful for her.

This bridal salon ended up being the only one I went to, I found my perfect dress with the help of Lex. She truly made my experience amazing. I wish I could go back just to hang out with her! I came into the salon with a list of dresses that I had previously viewed on their website, Lex pulled them right out for me and we got to work! She had also pulled some different designs just so I could see how I looked in them, which I did end up loving! At the end of my first visit, I fell in love with two different dresses. Again, it was also my first bridal salon that I had visited so far, so I was still planning on checking out other places. After telling Lex that I wanted to sleep on it/check out other places she was totally understanding and didn't "pressure" me like a lot of other places I've heard. I had gone to a different bridal shop the past weekend to look at dresses and was pretty disappointed at the selection and at the customer service. This experience was such a night and day difference. I had an appointment for 12pm on Sunday and Ana was assisting me. I love how the store is set up - it looks like there is space for 3 separate bridal parties and it's set up in such a way that you can have privacy with your group. I brought my best friend and my sister to my appointment. From the beginning Ana made me feel welcome. I gave her some general ideas and she was really able to nail down what I liked. She was so incredibly patient and I didn't feel rushed at all. She must have brought me over 10 dresses to try on! I ended up finding a beautiful off the rack dress that I AM SO EXCITED TO WEAR that was well within my budget price point. I'm planning on getting the alterations done with Ferndales as the date gets closer to swap the zipper to a corset back and to add side sleeves. I cannot recommend Ferndales enough. I brought my mom and best friend. We all sat down and she asked what I want to look and feel like in my dress, if I have an idea of what I want (shape, fabric, color, etc), if I've tried any dresses on already, and my price range. We got to browse and point out any dresses for Erin to pull while she went all around pulling any dress she thought I might like. Erin clipped me in so well that I didn't have to tug and adjust the dress while seeing how I liked it. For each dress I got to walk out to the pedestal and check myself out in the mirror and lighting. For each dress, she asked how I felt in it, what I liked, what I didn't like, what I would change... and this all helped her narrow down which dresses to try on or others to grab to add to the list. I got to try different veils (which I didn't know I wanted and it totally completed the look, so now I'm getting a veil) and even go to different lighting to see what natural lighting would look like on the sparkles too. When I found the dress, I got to participate in the Mon Amie tradition of making a wish for myself, my fiancé, and my marriage, then ring the bell and celebrate! Measurements were taken and a detailed contract was written up with pricing and a quote for alterations. Parking was easy & there is a bathroom in the back! There was a ginormous selection of dresses of all fits, fabrics, and styles.
