I have been a customer here for several years and it's my first time trying their dinner menu…read more This use to be my go to place for coffee but the coffee has become more bland so I don't come here as often, it's still a decent coffee shop and would recommend to the locals. What impressed me about their dinner menu is the drinks, very strong and delicious. The food was okay... we ordered a burger with fries and wings. The meat was cooked medium rare, if you don't like it cooked that way make sure you let them know. I really enjoyed the wings, they were well seasoned and give a decent portion. They also charge for extra ketchup which I've never experienced, understandable if it was ranch or some other special sauce but it wasn't. All the servers were polite, attentive and the place was clean and felt welcoming. They have a bar that I'll probably go to next time just for the drinks. I recommend to order their hazelnut espresso martini and the madre mía both drinks were amazing!

Will definitely order again when in the area. Service: Counter service. Line went fast and employee was courteous. Ambience: Artsy, urban, and open. Full alcoholic bar and coffee at service counter. Seat yourself in the open dining.

Probably the best Breakfast sandwich I've had. Got 2 of the HiBEARnator's for me and my kid, but…read moreasked for hashbrowns instead of fried potatoes. Thing was massive, both of us couldn't eat more than half. Also got coffee and hot chocolate, both tasty. What really sets this place apart from others is the fact that you could tell they use real eggs. You could see the egg whites separated enough from the yolks, and the taste was great. Only downside, if you don't know what you want and spend 5-10 minutes looking at the menu, we had to wait about 20 minutes because others ordered before us. This was on a semi-busy Sunday. But, worth the wait, and worth diverting off of I-80 for a real meal.

This family owned and operated bakery has been serving the community for over 60 years, carrying on baking traditions that date back more than a century. Their famous buttermilk coffee cake recipe has been passed down through generations and is still made the old-fashioned way today. From what I've learned, they're the last bakery in the Bay Area still making this incredible family recipe. The baked goods are amazing, but what makes this place truly special is the family behind it. Everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about their customers. You can feel the history, passion, and pride the moment you walk through the door. In a world of chain coffee shops and cookie cutter bakeries, this place is something rare. The history alone is worth a visit, but meeting the wonderful family who keeps this tradition alive is the cherry on top. A local treasure that deserves all the love and support it can get! Ps- I got the iced coconut chai, a FAMOUS buttermilk coffee cake and the hot chick panini. I also got a dozen assorted pastries/donuts for my staff to try. Incredible is an understatement. You're welcome in advance!!!

Omg, how have I not written a review for Lemon Gals yet?! I swore I wrote one?!…read more Lemon Gals is the spot for coffee, lemonade, tea, and desserts in San Pablo! They are located inside the San Pablo community center, so it may be a bit confusing trying to find them at first. I enjoy their monthly drink specials, which are so creative and tasty! Their desserts are also delicious and sell out pretty quickly. They post their desserts on Instagram in the morning, so you know what they have available for the day. You can also pre-order their desserts for events and holidays! They used to have gorditas, which were sooo good! The only food item they sell now are quesadillas, which I haven't tried yet. I'm not surprised that some people don't know they exist, so I always try to spread the word about them whenever I can! Truly a hidden gem in San Pablo. The girls are also very sweet.

A great pick me up spot for something refreshing, a caffeine fix, or something sweet!…read more My favorite here is the Chocolate Thunder! Be warned that the regular size comes with 2 shots of espresso and the large size comes with 4 shots of espresso. I recently started adding the strawberry foam to it and it elevated it so much. The strawberry foam is rich in taste and not too sweet so it balances out the chocolate and coffee perfectly. If I'm looking for something refreshing I go for the Sweet Basil or Pearfection. Both with an in-house made purée that add a great taste to the tea lemonades. They also offer add ons at an extra charge: chamoy, tajin, mango star jellies. They also have a variety of quesadillas that are made with a handmade flour tortilla and all pressed in a panini press which gives it a nice crunch. My favorite is the turkey one which comes with a jalapeño cheddar cream cheese that gives it a little kick. The pastries vary from day to day but if you see cinnamon rolls I suggest you get one! They're so fluffy and not too overly sweet like the typical ones. Staff is welcoming and friendly. They always answer questions and suggest different drinks/pastries depending on what you like. Located inside the community center with some seating available. There is a parking lot so parking is easy.
