We ordered mozzarella sticks and boneless honey barbecue wings to start. The wings deff lacked a bit of the bbq flavor, wings were average, but good to start with. They come with bleu cheese. The mozzarella sticks were good! They are not the thickies but the skinny ones. The lobster roll was about $35 for the market price. The bread was good, I was a little thrown off by the lettuce and that it was cold. The fries were hand made which was nice. The chicken tacos were good! Very filling and a good portion of chicken! Dennis behind the bar was excellent! Great personality and very attentive. It may seem like a small thing, but I really liked (and appreciated) that he automatically served a glass of water with each drink (I was drinking whiskey). Everything was nice and clean, and the drinks were so reasonably priced! There was a good selection of food also, and although I didn't eat anything, my friends ordered wings and enjoyed them. I will definitely be back!

We ordered our drinks which if I'm being honest were just ok and ran us about $105 (we sat at the bar) the folks next to us were eating jerk wings - they said they were so good they ordered another platter - so I def will be back to try the food on one of their live music nights. It was a about 8:30 on Friday and in addition to our group I think there were maybe 8 other folks at the bar - so it was pretty slow Honestly JodiAnn is what made this 3 star rating change to 4 - she was amazing - great customer service

When we pulled up and parked right out front, I waited in the car for about 10mins while my husband stood outside of my door and smoked. My husband noticed during that time that several people had walked in and then walked right back out. I was looking forward to listening to some R&B music, so we finally headed inside but was stopped at the door by the bouncer who said there was a cover charge of $20 for men and $10 for women. I said, "For a neighborhood bar? It's not even 12 yet..." To be honest, it felt a bit sketchy because it seemed like the bouncer was uncomfortable even telling us that there was a cover charge - and a pretty high one (for LI) at that. Now we understood why so many people walked in and then left seconds later. It's too bad though because it sounded like the music would've been just what we wanted, and this was our first night out without our kids in forever so we were prepared to stay out late and drink all night. I just don't like feeling like I'm being taken advantage of. We simply walked down the block to Dunn's River and paid a $5 cover (which is more realistic for this area) - and the music and vibe were totally worth it. I guess The New Vibe didn't want our business....or the 6 others that went in and walked right back out before us.
