Hello , i decided to to download yelp just to write about my experiences at this place ! I recently visited OBLÓ , and I have to say, I was extremely disappointed with the experience. As someone who has been living in Italy for two and a half years, I've had my fair share of burgers, but this was by far the worst I've ever had. The hamburger was incredibly chewy, making it difficult to enjoy, and the bread was dry and crumbly, falling apart with every bite. It's disheartening to see such poor quality in a place that holds so much potential. I had high hopes for OBLÓ , but unfortunately, it did not meet even the most basic expectations. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve their offering. I mean I can't find the words to describe how horrible it is ! read more

Very large menu with a lot of variety. We went here for brunch but they also have lunch food. You can customize your pancakes and a fresh juice and both were very good. My sister got the corn flakes chicken which was also really good. Fresh bakery items and nice location with great prices! Would recommend if you are in Verona. If I could give zero stars I would! This place was so horrible. I've traveled through Italy often and this is the first time I've had to write a bad review. Both the Service and the food were terrible. Honestly, go anywhere else. Service zero stars - we waited 40 min just to have our order taken. Then waited another 45 minutes to get our food. All the while, everyone around us who arrived after us and got seated later - ordered and got their food while we continued waiting. We had no choice but to ask the waitress about our order. Food zero stars- When we finally got our food, the fries were cold. The burger was less than okay, not impressive, not worth the price, the wait, or the hype. I'm all for being patient when traveling but this was something else. As we waited for our food, we saw the wait staff give preferential treatment to some customers and make other customers wait for table. Verona is full of beautiful and delicious restaurants- basically go somewhere else- don't waste your time or $$ here. read more

We had a great dinner experience at Oblò. We were looking to switch things up from typical Italian food and were recommended Oblò by our hosts. We were seated promptly and our food came out very quickly! We ordered classic burgers, sweet potato fries, and beers. The fries were crisp and hot, and the burgers were juicy and flavorful. Our only critique would be that the decor and ambiance fall short, at least in the upstairs level. Overall, we would definitely go back! read more

Wow what a great meal and experience we just had in Oblo'. My wife and I were growing tired of pizza and pasta and while walking around the magnificent coliseum in the heart of Verona we found an add for a restaurant selling hamburgers and gin and tonic. After searching through Yelp we found Oblo' in the heart of Verona. (Be sure to call ahead and make reservations as it is a relatively small place.) We did not call ahead but Kiara was kind enough to find us a little corner in the lobby of the restaurant to sit and eat. The meal was spectacular. Simple hamburger and French fries but the burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were delectable. The house wine was great and even the gin and tonics were magnificent. If you are looking for a change of the pizza and pasta pace Oblo' is an excellent option in Verona. read more

Steer clear! Worst service in an otherwise wonderful and welcoming beauty of a city that is Verona. Came to this place due to the good reviews but they could not be farther from the truth. I sat down and ordered a draft beer, some fries, and a 'Classic' burger. Now this place calls itself a Street Food style restaurant which would mean good homestyle food served in a timely manner but to my utter dismay it took them over fifty minutes to bring me a medium-raw burger!! Worst was when I mentioned it to the waitress she just shrugged it off and walked right back inside; I was sitting at one of the sidewalk tables. She just took food to every single table except mine. Just when I thought it couldn't be any worse a second waiter asks me to leave for "waiting customers" not even five minutes after I finished eating and with beer still left in my glass. Was I a dog? No sir I am not. Have traveled to many cities around the world and have never been treated with such disdain. Would recommend against eating at Oblo, been here in Verona for a week, there are many other more worthwhile places to eat in this great city. read more
