Best meal we had on our trip so far! The outdoor seating is on the edge of Piazza dei Signori in Piazzetta Palladio. It makes for a beautiful setting with Basilica Palladio as your backdrop. The host is very warm and welcoming. The menu has English descriptions We ordered: Ravioli con fiori di zucchini, stracciatella e pomodorini: It was delicious and they divided into 2 plates as our appetizer. All ingredients fresh and soft bread to clean it all up in the end. Costolette di Agnello con verdure di stagione: These lamb pops were thick and juicy with a very tasty crumb and herb crust. Amazing flavor combinations, bravo. Guancette di Maiale Brasate e pure di patate: Braised pork cheeks with mashed potatoes This was a very flavorful dish as well! The meat just falls apart and when combined with some of the potatoes makes for a delicious mouthful! Finished off with a Tiramisu Everything we tried was perfect. We gave 4 stars due to our server being worth about 2 stars. He was obviously treating us poorly and ignoring us due to the fact that we are Americans. Acting very distant and not helpful. He was very polite and helpful to the Italian families around us. He took their orders before ours, when they sat much later than us and he was very short when dealing with our table. He never checked on our table and we had to order dessert from the busboy. The rest of the serving staff was delightful. read more

Been here a few times, the first time I ordered a pizza it was one of the best I've tasted while here in Italy been here almost 2 years. Easy to make same day reservations especially during the weekdays, service was excellent, I prefer to dine inside but as the weather gets warmer they tend to sit you outside and that can be uncomfortable depending the temperature. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everything about this place is top notch. The food, service and ambiance is excellent. We dined Al fresco, they had tables set up outside which was perfect, the view of the piazza was wonderful. The service was impeccable, since our Italian is very limited they were kind enough to help us through the menu options which by the way were also in English. For our meals I had the steak which was cooked perfectly and it was served with potatoes which I hear are excellent but because of dietary reasons I switched to other veggies which was delightful. My girlfriend had the lamb chops which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our friend ordered the tuna which was really good. For dessert we shared the tiramisu and the crème brûlée. They were magnificent. What are perfect dining experience and to top it off the price was unbelievable! What a gem! read more

We enjoyed an evening meal outside - even though the restaurant was very crowded, they managed to find space for a party of six which was very accommodating and we were very thankful for that. I ordered a Pizza alla Quattro Formaggi which was served up hot and yummy. I only got to eat a small part of it as my hungry boys pillaged my plate -- I think we all agreed that it was good. Great local restaurant. Small and cozy inside with tables outside. They were very busy the night we were there with two huge parties so our service was slow but it was completely understandable. Food is exceptional - the best I've had this trip and possibly across multiple visits to Italy. Lost a star for service. We saw our meals delivered to a neighboring table that was confused why they only received some of their order, a long wait for the rest, and staff uncertain what to do when the rest of that table's food didn't match what they still needed. Once I tracked down a server and explained the situation he said our ticket was lost in the kitchen and they would fire our entrees within minutes. That other table was seated after we ordered but ate and paid before we received our meals. That said, the food is so good and staff apologetic enough to give this establishment another try or worth trying for your first time and hope the issue was a blip and not a pattern. read more

Omg this is hands down my favorite restaurant in Vicenza. Whenever my husband asks where I wanna go for dinner this is my first choice! The menu changes seasonally but no so much that items arnt recognizable. The gnocchi is our favorite, and the pizza is super tasty! Make sure to show up early to make a reservation as it's a small place and Italians generally enjoy dinner for about 2+ hours which takes up a large portion of there dinner hours. read more

This restaurant is in a great location and fun to take visitors too. There is a big statue of Andrea Palladio just outside and you are next to the beautiful basilica. The basement is also a great place to dine and a fun experience with the wine storage in the walls. They have a more creative local fare and just a little more expensive than the average restaurant in the area. However, for the service and taste it is well worth it. Sometimes you get tired of the typical pizza and they have calzones and other variations of stuffed pizza. During the Summer months they are packed in the evening. Reservations are highly recommended. However, if you are willing to eat and be done in an hour or so they will usually accommodate you if you arrive at 7 when they open. read more

Superlative from Start to Finish. Best Pizza in Vicenza, and also a wonderful friendly atmosphere. I'm not Italian but I am a regular and have tried at least 75% of the menu They are smart, keeping the menu small but good. Nice indoor seating. Outdoor seating in summer. Things can become hectic in the summer when the outdoor section is open - much more volume for their kitchen, so fall/winter/spring is better for me. Plus in a pinch you can eat at the bar. Friendly and lovable staff. If you are unsure of availability make a reservation. Plus something very nice: If it is a special occasion such as a wedding anniversary, birthday, or a special date, let them know and they will take extra care of you. Been here a few times without reservations and they've gotten us in every time but once. In warmer months, there is relaxing dining al fresco (save for the occasional gypsy harassment). We thought the interior was fairly cramped and small, so during inclement weather it fills up quickly. HOWEVER, as the chilly season kicked in, we discovered that not only were there toilets downstairs but also a white-walled wine cellar with tight but comfortable seating. The food is excellent, from the traditional prosciutto pizza to the perhaps avant-garde (Wait... is that French?) pizza del giorno. My sister, my spouse and I all ordered the tagliata last visit with a bottle of the house vino rosso - a perfect meal with the potatoes. Plenty of tasty bread to enjoy while waiting for the meal to arrive. If you want to walk for a bit before partaking a caffè, I highly suggest the nearby Caffetteria BAR Pigafetta just around the corner by the basilica! read more
