The salsa was quite good and we would have got some more chips, but a refill is $4 and the portion size didn't feel worth it to us. We decided on the avocado tacos since sadly they were out of the coconut shrimp tacos we originally wanted. We had a pulled pork sandwich and salmon entree for our mains, which we both liked. I had Mac and cheese on the side, which wasn't something I would order again, but the fries were good. There are 4 different house sauces to try and I found the Honey Chipotle to be my favorite. I got takeout and ordered two orders of 3 beef tacos, yellow rice and pinto beans. My tacos had several layers, and the beef was very tender. On top came fresh chopped onions, and chopped cilantro, a jalapeño and grilled onions. The beef tacos were very good especially the grilled onions. The jalapeño was surprisingly very hot, but it gave a nice kick to the tacos. The yellow rice was fluffy, and the pinto beans had great flavor and were creamy. They gave me two types of sauces, salsa verde and a hot sauce. I really enjoyed my food. This is a mom and pop business, that I will definitely be returning to. I now understand why my friends rave about Casa Luna. My second review is for breakfast. Full disclosure, they are trying it out, so Sunday's only, for now. I hope they are successful with it because I ordered Huevos Rancheros, my test meal for Latin restaurants. It was incredible. The tortillas were perfect, flavor was traditional and I added a few spots of hot sauce. I will absolutely be coming back each Sunday until they decide to make it a more common offering. Whatever, your presence, dinner, lunch, breakfasts on Sunday, come to Casa Luna in Somerville. You'll make it a regular place on your list of favorite New Jersey restaurants. I'm so glad that we did. There were only two other families in the place at the time of our arrival. We got a nice table in the corner. Our waitress was Alyssa, she was very friendly and showed us how to use the barcode to scan their drink menu. We placed our order and to my surprise, Alyssa was also our bartender.
