We had an issue with a prior tint job from another store - the back window was so distorted that we couldn't see out of it ... and our son is driving this car and taking it to college .... so it was a big safety concern. Sundown does awesome work. Yes the owner's name for this window tinting business is really Sundown :) It's a local family-owned business that has been around since the mid-1980s. They came recommended to me from some good friends when I mentioned needing professional help with tinting my front house windows (for heat control) and also frosting my bathroom window (for privacy). Sundown was great about educating me on how the tinting works, applying samples first so I could see the different tint levels and then being very precise when it came to applying the screens so that every inch was covered with no bubbles at all. It took about 2 hours total to do about 10+ windows. They charge per square foot. I highly recommend them for residential or business work, and FYI they do car windows too. read more

Thanks to Oasis Window Tinting... they were quick and efficient. My appointment was on a Saturday afternoon and I was running 30 mins late, trying to get to Buford from Midtown. I called to let them know and they were very accommodating. I sat in the veranda and waited in the shade for my car. He went over the various shades and blocking features, even sampled them on the window. Same price for any tint darkness, I easily made my decision. The people who work here are extremely nice and they do a great job. BUT, follow the tinting laws. The guy was very confident that I would not get pulled over and that most places don't check tint level. I got mine done here before moving to TX and he checked the laws for me and he was sure that it would be rare for me to get caught with tint on the front windshield. He even called a place in TX for me. I went ahead and went with it because he seemed very confident and I thought it would blend better with the rest of my windows rather than getting the clear tint. I got pulled over today and the police attempted to give me a ticket but his machine was broken and he let me go with a warning. So.............now I'm paying someone to remove the tint on my front windshield. So even if they tell you that it's okay to go a little darker, I would ignore and just follow the laws. read more

By in far the best window tint I have had done. No not the cheapest but I wanted quality tint, a good warranty and someone who would be around to take care of me is something went wrong. I had the tint done on my 2015 Mustang GT at their Lawrenceville location after meeting the owner in Buford. Had a couple minor problems so I visited the owner at the Buford location and he took off 4 windows worth of tint and did it over because it wasn't up to his quality. It looks amazing now. Best $ I've spent except for buying the mustang! I fully recommend this place. I've had several cars done and I can tell you their work is superior to some other shops you might find closer to town. They are not the cheapest, but they look like they went to high school here and are from the community. They will up-sell you.
