OK, Boomer! I'll…read moreadmit to being a Boomer, and one of the catchphrases I grew up with was, "If you want something done right, do it yourself." That philosophy has served me pretty well over the years--until now. I recently decided to turn that job over to Marine Klean and had them wash, buff, and wax our 2016 Ranger Tug R-27. She's a fiberglass boat with a dark-blue hull, tan accent areas designed to give the appearance of wood planking, and white fiberglass topsides. With all the rails, hardware, canvas, lockers, and other nooks and crannies on an R-27, getting everything properly cleaned and detailed is no small undertaking. The two guys from Marine Klean did an outstanding job. The boat looks almost new rather than ten years old. They were exceptionally thorough and didn't just hit the obvious areas. They covered virtually every square inch, including cleaning the bimini, getting inside the cockpit lockers, and even buffing the top of our dock box. Getting the hull done properly required releasing the dock lines and shifting the boat in the slip so they could reach the areas normally hidden against the dock. Once they had her repositioned, they finished the job and put her back where she belonged. And when they secured her again, they even made a chain loop with the loose ends neater than the way I had originally rigged them. That may seem like a small thing, but to a boat owner, attention to details like that says a lot. Jeff is fortunate to have employees who take that much pride in their work. They clearly understand that detailing a boat isn't just about making the gelcoat shine--it's about taking care of the entire vessel. I recommend Marine Klean without reservation. If you're particular about your boat and want it looking its best, they're worth a serious look.

May 6, 2023 I got my daughters windows tinted as a surprise for her birthday. When the gentleman he…read moreasked me to check it. When I checked it, I noticed that there was a melted piece between the driver's door and the back driver side door. I called my daughter-in-law and asked her was that there because I remember it being there. She stated she did not know if it was there or not but my daughter will check it when she got home. I told him I wasn't sure if it was there or not and he said that it could've been him because he didn't touch the outside of the car door. Come to find out he was using a heater to tint the windows in the heat was up too high, which melted the plastic piece on the outer door by the window that he tinted. When my daughter-in-law called to let him know that he had done it and sent pictures that it was not like that before he tenet the windows he offered to give her money back. That wouldn't be a problem except the windows that he tinted all of them still have bubbles in them. So what was supposed to be a surprise turned out to be a nightmare. Because now I have to not only get the metal piece fixed. I have to also get the window tint stripped off and redone. So the money he gave me back for the window tint was nothing compared to what I have to pay to get the rest of the stuff fixed. Had I gone with a different company? I wouldn't have to come off of extra money for no reason.

Not recommended. In July, I brought my new 2022 SUV for front window tinting. On the way home, I…read morenoticed the tint film in the driver's side window has a gap between the film and the frame resulting in a white line outlining the window frame that is visible every time I look into the side mirror. I sent an email to the store manager with pictures requesting replacement, no response. I finally brought it back to the store where they agreed to replace the film. They replaced the firm with a different shade than the other windows and did not correct the problem that I needed fixed. I went to another window tint business that was highly rated in Yelp. They showed me the defects in the other windows including bubbles, peeling, film creases, etc. At this point, I had no choice but to replace all the window tinting. I hated to pay double to get a quality installation.
