I felt it important to let the general public know that I booked and showed up for a Brazilian Blowout Treatment. This process involves a chemical that contains formaldehyde and requires stylists be certified due to the potential health hazards. I booked online and showed up on time. The stylist seemed nervous and I overheard her talking on the phone to someone expressing concern. I also saw her reading directions on the backs of bottles. When I asked her if she'd done the treatment before, she told me no and that she wasn't certified. She was very apologetic. However, the very thought that someone inexperienced would simply wing such a treatment is shocking to me. I wanted to warn others about this to prevent it from happening again. read more

The pedicure I knew the price but she literally just painted my nails, no manicure no cleaning up anything because they didn't need to be cleaned up she did not take polish off as they were bare nails and they charged me $25 to simply paint with regular polish not gel polish just regular polish! Had they told me it was gonna be $25 just to paint my nails with regular nail polish I would have said no as I can do that at home! I am upset to say the least. I got my nails done 7 days ago and I enjoyed the way they looked, but 3 have come off already. I am unable to go see them in person and get these fixed, as I am from out of state and am leaving tomorrow. They had no time to grow out, I did not engage in any strenuous activity, but from baking cookies and picking up cookie dough they broke like dry noodles. What makes it worse is that the OWNER did my nails herself and charged me $85 for them to get done. I will never come here again and I hope other people will know what they're getting themselves into before coming here. Nice spa with friendly service but incredibly expensive. $35 for a polish change. Nothing else. Didn't even cut my cuticles. Also got a standard pedi. Asked if I wanted my calluses buffed or no. Of course I said yes. Was charged an extra $7 but wasn't advised it would be an up charge. I would expect that to be part of the service. Any other part of the country I've visited it would be included. Normally I sing the praises of oasis but this time not so much! I spent a lot of money here last week on a gel pedicure and dip nails! My pedicure was just ok. Shorter than any other I've ever received there! My nails however are only 1 week old and I have 1 chipping and the rest are lifting! My thumb nail has 4-5 cracks in it! Normally my dip nails last 2-4 weeks but these are complete crap! I don't know if I'll ever go back! So disappointed in what I got for the money I spent! This is the first time I've had this terrible of service! Dip nails should last at minimum 2 weeks especially since I haven't been doing anything but laying around for a week! Appalling lack of skill in highlighting. I only went here as I am new to the area. I was told by the so-called hair colorist, Cindy DeBord, that she would do "baby highlights" and not lift the color more than one or two levels to prevent damage. It came over processed - bleached "white" before she harshly combed toner through my wet hair using some awful tool I asked her not to use in order to prevent damage. Of course being in a compromised position with bleach on my hair - there's not much one can do at the time and everyone else was working on nails. Cindy DeBord's manner was cocky and rude. When I asked if she could be more gentle (she was roughly brushing through my hair from scalp to ends while my hair was wet immediately after the chemical service, she responded, "Do you take medication for that?" I called the owner several times. I was told she would call back but she did not. On my last call to the owner she said she was not in charge of the hair salon and would get the stylist to call back. There was no return call - what a surprise. I do not recommend this place for highlights, nor professionalism, which includes common knowledge about chemical processes and basic hair care. I had a great initial foot massage from an esthetician - then another lady came to do my pedicure, she was the manager. Got up countless times during the pedicure and she got upset because I didn't want her using an electric grinder on my natural nails to cut the cuticles. She then rushed through my pedicure and didn't file my nails after clipping them the paint job looks like a two year old painted my nails and the way I found out she was the manager was by asking the meek front desk girl who the manager was because I wanted to tell them about my experience. Didn't even bother once I found out the tech was also the manager. This was the worst pedicure I've ever had. My husband and I went in for pedicures. We were sat immediately which we thought was nice and the woman ran water and left us. The water was lukewarm at best. We had to wait for the techs to get finished with others which was fine. The techs were nice which but I don't know if she was new or what but it took forever. She barely filed my nails no cuticle cuts and I asked if they scraped your foot and she so oh yes absolutely but that consisted of lightly, and I mean very lightly using a callus remover on ur feet. The "hot" towels were lukewarm also. Halfway through my pedi is when I was asked what kind of pedi I wanted and was offered a book to look through which was useless being that they only had one pedicure that included gel polish. All the others you had to do an up charge which was ridiculous. They didn't even start on my husband until I was done so he was sitting in cold water by this time and his literally last about 15 minutes. There was nothing special put into the water except for on little blue pill looking thing. I had high hopes of this place but first and LAST time for sure. read more

I have been to this salon 3 or 4 times in the past couple of years and was always happy with my pedicures. Today was a different story. The nail tech I had, cut my toe with the nippers and it bled and would not stop. She kept putting the Styptic Stick to the area but it did not help. Another thing that really bothered me is she was touching the tip of the liquid directly to the wound. I hope she threw the bottle out and would not use it on another client. I also have a nic on my other toe but it did not bleed. I will not list her name because I know we all make mistakes and we deserve another chance. I just would not recommend anyone going there for a pedicure. I asked her to put a bandaid on my toe and I would come back later for the polish (which I will not). The nail tech was nice. However, I went in asking for a Dip. Any other place I have been, removes my current dip and applies new dip, new color. This time the nail tech just smoothed out my current dip and put light pink gel on top of a red dip, that doesn't even cover it well. For starters, their prices are misleading. They upcharge you once you get the site and don't even offer everything that is listed in a package deal. They gave my wife a deluxe massage she didn't want and left her leg swollen and broke out with whatever they rubbed on her. Her nail color was off by a longshot and bubbled up. She also got round tips which she didn't want. They embarrassed her in front of her party and then charged her $500 for shotty work. They were rude and ran her party out as quickly as possible to get more customers. I called to complain and see about a way to fix it but was informed I was "stupid" for thinking the prices would include more than one person even though we were never told otherwise and they blamed COVID for a lot of the services not being offered. We even booked the appointment in person. Update your terrible website, add changes to your social media accounts for pricing and bookings or at least explain everything to the customer as they are there. The price was the least of my worry. I am extremely pleased with my pedicure. The person doing the pedi was extremely thorough and took his time. I felt like my feet were in good, expert hands. The employees were very friendly and sociable. I was a walk-in and even though traffic was steady, I was immediately taken to the back and seated. My feet feel a million times better! This spa is a place that I don't recommend to anybody! The owner is very rude & nasty. She thinks she can get away with the way she treats some customers. She has no manners & she's not professional. She discriminates against some people. Here's what happened: I went to get a pedicure & I was ignored for a while while she was playing on her cell phone. I said to her "excuse me" & she hushed me. I said nothing else. Finally, when another customer came in then she (the owner) immediately took care of both of us & put hot water on the tubs so we could soak the feet. She refused to get the coupon & said "next time, not today." When I asked why? she took it from me & started to yell at me really loud: "This coupon is expired.." I said I didn't notice the expiration day and she said "You should have seen it, and that I should know better... I'm the owner & I can put the expiration date any place I want" I asked her not to yell at me and she said "I can yell all I want, this is my place, I'm the owner..." I said to please give me my total, that I wanted to get out of that place. She was yelling also in her own language (Vietnamese) so I had no idea what in a world she was talking about. She said "You don't have enough money on your gift card, and I'm going to call the police on you. You don't have money for the tip, etc. " I was very upset because I knew I have enough money to cover everything. She kept yelling at me loudly, and she flipped her finger to me several times. I told her Shame on you! Your behavior is despicable and that I would call the police if she continued her behavior. I said to her I have enough money on the card, you are wrong. I showed the male employee my receipt with the balance on the card and he said "Ma'am you are fine, you have enough money for everything, you may leave." I got my 3D lash extensions done here. It was the first time I have had them done. They look nicer as the days go by and they relax a little. I had gotten a great manicure with regular polish in Norfolk that didn't chip until 11 days after, so I decided to stop here for a polish change. She removed the polish, then filed and buffed my nails so much that they are now paper thin and very weak. The paint color is shadowy and looks awful. It chipped after a day and my nails feel like tissue paper now. On top of a horrible polish, I was charged $20 for a polish change, I paid $30 total with tip for ONLY a polish change - regular polish change - no lotion, no manicure of any kind, no cuticle cleanup...just shadowy polish. According to their website, a deluxe manicure with collagen hands is $35. I have never had such a horrible polish change, I have never left with weaker natural nails than I walked in with, and I have never been charged that much to change polish colors on my hands only. I will NEVER come to this establishment again, nor will I recommend anyone there. read more

If you choose to waste your time going here, that's up to you. But watch your bill. The owner and some of the staff members will try anything to overcharge. Their prices aren't clearly listed and they tend to make up whatever they want to charge you in their head. When caught overcharging, they'll only give you a coupon towards your next visit, not an actual refund. I went here with my mother and her friend. Each one of us essentially got the exact same pedicure treatment with the same polish, yet each one of us was charged a different price, ranging from $35-$61. Terribly disappointing. Customer service among worst I've experienced. Scheduled an appt online an hour and a half ahead of time. Not much time in advance I realize but I was thrilled to see an available appointment for a massage. I arrived five minutes ahead of the appt time to be greeted by a woman who seemed inconvenienced by my presence. She gestured to a hair and told me to have a seat. At 10 minutes after the appt time and after seeing many personnel come and go with no one saying "we will be right with you" or otherwise acknowledging my presence, I went to the desk and asked if someone would be with me soon. A young man responded that they were getting a room ready and asked for my name. He then looked at the appointment register and informed me that the person with whom my appointment was scheduled was off that day and he wasn't sure they could accommodate me. I then received a text informing me that my appt had been cancelled. In hindsight I'm glad I didn't give them my money and I'll never go there again. read more
