A couple years ago I asked Oasis for a quote on changing out my pump from a single speed to a variable speed. The quote they gave me was double what it would cost me to purchase the pump online just have it installed. When I approached them about installing the pump they informed me since I didn't buy it from them they would not install it for me. So, I wrote a poor recommendation. Fast forward two years and I contacted them for a quote to put a new liner in my pool and they refused to even quote me because I wrote them a bad review. Oasis Pools is a wonderful business ran by great people! The services they provide have been extremely helpful with keeping my pool in tip-top shape over the years. I would be so lost without Ray's chemistry knowledge and Karen's amazing service team. No matter what issues I have, I am always able to count on them to assist me and provide me with the best customer service possible. When my pump broke down, the service team was out the next day. Went to store and talked to them to have an old hot tub removed, they said they would call the day before they came to pick it up. This was in May. Mid June i called back as hadnt heard anything from them. Nancy said they had been busy but i was still on the list. Called again mid July , same story. Hope they dont lie to you!!! read more

I have traded with Oasis since they were located in downtown Leavenworth, before they moved next to the shopping center at 7 Hwy and Limit. I have had great service until this past year when they hired a new customer service rep (Karen). I needed service last year and called and arranged it (I thought). I called back when the service person didn't show up. I truly believe that Karen neglected to turn in a service order. Suddenly she started screaming at me and said she didn't have to tolerate that (I guess my inquiry about the service call) and she hung up on me. When I sent the owner a message about this, he was defensive and, as far as I know, no action was taken. I had to call today because I received a bill for an amount that I had already paid. Karen didn't like my "tone of voice" so she told me to find another pool place. I asked her if she owned Oasis and she said no and then hung up on me. Either she needs extensive training in customer service or she needs to be replaced. I worked in customer service for many years and I never got rude with a customer even if I thought they were being rude. read more

Scheduled a service call to have a hole in my liner patched. First response was that it was "very labor intensive". Okay. I had already scheduled a pool opening with them on a Friday. They told me they moved some stuff around for the Thursday before so that they could get my patch done before opening the pool the following day. I took my kids out of town for a mini vacation on Wednesday and rushed home on Thursday to be there for the service call. Called them to comfirm and they don't have me scheduled at all. Excuse was that they are very busy and dropped the ball. Woman on the phone told me she has a technician there now and started asking questions. (of a technician is standing right next to you why not send him to my house to fix your mistake of not scheduling me.) She started saying maybe we can get someone out there today but was interrupted by the man standing next to her. She then said, "nope we can't today. I was just told we can't do it today". Okay. I informed them that they would need to cancel my pool opening for the following day due to the patch not being done. Her response "okay, have a nice day" and hangs up. Wait...what just happened! Lost me as a customer for life. They made a mistake and in no way tried to fix it! Terrible customer service!! read more

Oasis pools in Lansing, KS - terrible Customer Service. Worst customer service EVER. If only Zero Stars were possible. I recently scheduled a sand change for my pool filter. THEY (not me) scheduled my appointment for Saturday (5/21) morning - I was told today that they typically don't do these maintenance service calls this time of year (as if they were doing me some huge favor by getting my business). After calling several times on Saturday, the technician showed up at 2:00. The work was done to my satisfaction - completed about 4:30. The lack of communication was AWFUL. After calling this morning to see what could be done about the bill, Mary Jo told me that she was busy and unable to reduce my $400+ bill. She also told me that nobody needed to be home in order for this work to be done. If only Karen or Dave or Ray could have told me that information on any one of the multiple calls I made on Saturday, we could have gotten on with our day and I wouldn't have been so angry. This was once a fine company - when Donnie Jackson ran it. Today I was told by Mary Jo - one of the partners in the business - that I should look for another Pool company. Do yourself a BIG favor and do the same thing. read more

Terrible customer service and they don't do what they say they will. I had my hot tub lines freeze and break a fitting this winter. I called and talked to the service dispatcher who was getting her information from the owner. They told me they could send a service tech out to unthaw the lines, pipe around the broken fitting and run the tub to let us know what all was damaged and how much it would cost. The service tech showed up, visually looked at the tub and said the same thing was broken that I had called in and told the store. He did not have any parts on his truck to run the tub like they had told me. He spent more time trying to sell us on a new tub than evaluating ours. After providing no service and the service tech telling us conflicting information than what the store and owner had told us, they still charged us for the service call. The tech didn't even have a pump to pump the water out of the tub. After all was said and done, it was obvious to me that the store simply lied to us about their capabilities so they could schedule a service tech and charge us. And good luck talking with the owner regarding any issues. I battled with them over several phone calls and asked several times to speak with the owner, yet he kept making the service dispatcher talk with me even though I could hear the him talking in the background. We've used this company for 3 summers now and really liked them until now! We have Oasis come out and close our pool every fall since we do not have the equipment to do so and if a problem occurs it's covered under their warranty. When we went to open the pool this time, we have a huge crack down the side of our filter. We called and they sent someone out to take pictures. Apparently because we have wood burning heater hooked up to the pump that voids their warranty to fix the filter. They have never said anything in the past about the heater being connected. The communication is definitely lacking with info being passed. If we had been told that they could close our pool but it wouldn't be covered if something happened that would have been fine but to never say anything at all about it is just shady and seems like a way to keep their perfect record. We will not be using this company any more. Make sure to ask as many questions as possible and get written answers for things they say they will do! read more

I hired Oasis Pools to open my swimming pool exactly one month ago today. Despite my pool being in excellent working condition, the company still has not completed its work. In fact, it looks worse today than it did when the cover was removed. It looks like a swamp, yet nobody from Oasis has bothered to set foot on my property in 13 days. Last week, I was promised that they would finish the job by no later than 5 days ago. When nobody showed up, I made repeated attempts to contact them via phone and e-mail, but nobody responded. I finally got someone on the line today. I was offered excuse after excuse for why they did not get the job done, but they offered no excuse for why nobody would respond to my phone calls and e-mails. They claimed to have "completed the job" opening my pool, despite the fact that my pool has not been usable for one day since they started "opening" it. They then proceeded to tell me that my pool was more difficult to clean than others and that it would require visits every other day. Funny that the pool company I previously used had no problem keeping my pool looking great by servicing it twice a week last Summer. They next tried to tell me that I didn't hire them to make my pool usable. At that point, I could take no more, so I wished them good luck in their future endeavors. I am extremely disappointed in this company's work and even more disappointed in its customer service. I would not recommend using this company under any circumstances. read more
