Poor quality, I got gel on my toes at this salon and a week later this is what it looked like. Went back to get it fixed and the guy in the first chair asked me which nail technician did the service, I told him it was a woman and I don't know her name but the service was performed at Oasis salon. I will say the owner did respond to my review respectfully and promptly. To clarify the service was performed on Aug 2nd around 6pm at Oasis salon.
Unfortunately I won't be back. I was seeing Anthony for months prior to visiting yesterday and being informed that he no longer worked there. With that in mind, I hesitated at setting up an appointment to fix a broken nail with someone new, but needed a fix asap. My pedicure was great-- the technician was detail oriented and continuously asked me for feedback and preferences throughout my service. Unfortunately, my manicure (the primary reason I came, since my nail was broken) was not so great. My nail was cracked on the side, and I suggested just cutting the whole nail and attaching a tip. The technician assured me that builder gel would fix it, and though I didn't agree, I assumed he knew better. The service overall was rushed. The crack in my nail reappeared as soon as I got home, and I noticed how sloppy my french polish was applied. Upon noticing, I called in right away to make an appointment to fix everything the following morning. Today I came in to have the nails fixed, and once again the service was rushed. To fix the broken nail, he added a tip and cut it without first confirming the length. I pointed out that it was shorter than the other nails, but if course, there was nothing that could be done at that point without completely restarting. I let it go, just wanting to be done with the service. He added builder gel and I could tell it was sloppily applied but just let it be. After filling and shaping, the side of the nail was completely filed down and the nail was awkwardly shaped. I pointed it out and he told me someone else would fix it, because apparently someone else was waiting on him, despite me making an appointment ahead of time. I just got up and said I would go somewhere else to fix everything. No one apologized or tried to rectify the situation. I just walked out. Edit: In direct reply to the business owner's response below: In no way was I trying to imply that I was misled into coming into the shop without knowing Anthony left. As I said, I hesitated at first, but made the decision on my own to come in anyway because my nail was broken and I had only been going to this shop for months. I was NOT expecting Anthony or his exact service when I came in. I'd like to erase this narrative that somehow I expected Anthony's service and communication style during this specific service. Based on my original review, I never once implied that. I only expected the technician to 1. Fix my broken nail and 2. Do clean work on my nails. Neither of those objectives were met. I am extremely disappointed in the shift of blame, as if I ever said that I needed someone to spend hours on my nails in order for the service to be deemed "good". In fact, it's one of the things I least liked about getting my nails done with Anthony! He was not fast, but at the very least I was happy with the way my nails looked. It's hilarious to think any woman would PREFER to spend "several" hours in a nail salon give me a break. It's funny how its being portrayed as if I have such impossibly high standards for my nails as if the service was not objectively sloppy (see pictures) !! You "didnt have a chance to recify the situation", but after I pointed out that the nail shape was messed up and told to go to another chair for someone else to fix it, I said out of my mouth "you know what, its fine I'll go somewhere else to have it fixed" I gathered all of my things and no one said anything. After said I would leave, no one said ANYTHING. Everyone moved on, which is fine! But don't make it seem like I just stormed out out of nowhere and no one knew what was going on. No one cared! Shout out to Tammy at D'Luxe nails on Las Positas who was able to see me shortly after leaving the shop and did a fantastic job fixing my nails and giving me a new fresh set (in less than an hour )
Do yourself a favor and get your acrylics done by Janelle. She does quality work, is friendly, and ensures that you love your nails. You can tell her if you'd like something changed and she will do it without making you feel bad. For pedicures - ask for Anthony. Not only is he the sweetest, he meticulous and gentle (if you've ever had a rough handed pedicure, then you know why this is important!) This is my go-to place and I live about 30ish minutes away!

Another service of walking in and getting exactly what I want but better. I usually never know what I want to get and go in with a few pictures and the owner always brings my vision to life! It's giving SPRING VIBES! I'm in LOVE with my nails. I get a builder gel with gel polish !

This is the first time a nail technician did the exact design that I love she will be my new go to. First time here and was so impressed by the service and skill. I had probably the best pedicure of my life from Anthony and a beautiful ombré full set by Janelle (inspired by a set posted by another Yelper a couple years ago). Everyone was so friendly as well which is always a plus. Will definitely be coming back!

My nails are so ugly after going to Oasis Nails. I had a fill in and nail repair, and the tech Janelle put so much acrylic on my nails it was incredibly thick. I thought she would file them down, and she did, but still left so much product on my nails. The bulbous-ness is insane, it's hard to tell in pictures but the underside of my nails are basically flat filled with acrylic. The color of the powdered acrylic was closer to my inspo pic, but she finished the set with a dark pink clear coat that was egregious. I was so hopeful after reading the positive reviews, I was thoroughly disappointed. She also cut me 3 times, and a FILL IN took an hour.

Do yourself a favor and get your acrylics done by Janelle. She does quality work, is friendly, and ensures that you love your nails. You can tell her if you'd like something changed and she will do it without making you feel bad. For pedicures - ask for Anthony. I honestly can't say enough amazing things about this nail salon. I came here the first time on a whim, just wanting to try something new, and I walked out absolutely OBSESSED with my nails. Just look at those nails!!! This has always been my fav nail salon since I moved here. They suggested me to get builder gel and my natural nails was never be this good since I got my nails done every 2-3 weeks. Ofc the Oasis Ped is a must for me after standing for hours. Def recommend! read more

No long story of how rude the owner was to me when I kindly asked for my money ($75) be refunded to me albeit after I gave her the chance to make it right Sat AM after the Friday debacle... This is what I ended up with. Most of my fingers are split and bleeding with the filing she did. Short of walking out 3/4 of the way...regretfully believing she said she would make it ok. The owner actually told me that my nail beds were abnormal and that was best she could do. My nails are naturally beautifully curved...how could an owner, supposedly professional think this is ok? Anywhere from $40 and up they really do any kind of nails you want. Just depends on how basic or elaborate you like. I believe fill starts at $25-30. Hope this helps
