My "refund" that I have yet to see from this crooked motel. This receipt was printed 43 minutes after my original purchase

I would say ZERO stars, but I was forced to mark one. We pulled in late after our road trip and when we had called hours earlier, the lady told us she can't take reservations over the phone. Ok, not the end of the world, but everywhere else was booked and we had no other options. $138 plus $10 deposit for two nights. Mind you, we pulled in at 11pm and were gone at 11:45. That's the amount of time we spent in a disgusting room and then arguing with management to refund us. Arguing took the longest. The pillow on the bed had smeared makeup and glitter all over it. I don't even want to imagine what happened there. Long brown hairs were all over the sheets, chewed pink gum stuck on the wall. It was a non smoking room, but had burn marks in the walls and reeked like a dive bar. I would have slept in my car before I stayed at this hell hole. What a dump and a joke! They must have paid the other people to say nice things about the place because their "it's not that bad" comments are also a joke. Please don't stay here! Good luck with the refund too! The girl at the counter gave me a receipt with my refund on it, but I've yet to see my refund even though I was charged instantly. I may end up just calling the police. Terrible place and disgusting!!

This is very good place , room is clean , no bad smell , the manager very nice, treat you like family And price is very reasonable. I'll say 5 stars and first recommend motel in westbank !!!!!

Lovely boutique hotel on St. Charles I met up w| a friend here and enjoyed my time throughly, although the barmaid seemed a bit strange, her drinks were okay but could have been better. The ambiance is super nice here and the front desk lady was sweet. I love the patio area as you can see the streetcar passing while having a cocktail and chilling w| your friends. Will definitely be back to this bar.

The good: The hotel and room aesthetics were lovely…read more The bad: The front desk staff needs to be trained in hospitality. I had issues getting into the parking garage and finally the night clerk came to help. Once she did, she didn't ask if I needed any assistance with luggage or wait to hold the door. To enter the hotel, you need to go through a door, up a ramp to the front of the hotel. Seated at the front desk right in front of the door, she watched me struggle to open it and get my luggage in. Very little knowledge on restaurants in the area. No water provided in the room, despite me being told there was. The next morning, I had issues with the coffee machine and the morning clerk told me I could just go across the street to the gas station and get coffee there. When I declined, he said he'd send someone up. They never came. When I checked out, I asked if the front desk clerk could get the door for me while I had my luggage set and he mumbled yeah, never looking up from his phone, and didn't move. Needless to say, I saw myself out to get to my meeting on time and then ran into yet another issue of being locked out of the parking garage. If they could train the staff in hospitality or at least, common courtesy, this hotel could be worth staying in. As much as I loved the feel of Hotel Henrietta, sadly I will not be back. Exceptional service is everything. I couldn't even get basic.

The wedding was great but the stay at this hotel was abysmal. The main issues are as follows; scratch marks so bad on some of the furniture, mismatched lights, lights flickering, and lights out totally, auto light in living room at night would go completely dark every 20-25 minutes, stains galore on bathroom ceiling, fridge was blowing out hot air, ac set at 68 during the day would not keep the room cool, the food at the bar restaurant was disgusting, the pillows and throw blanket for the bed were sub-par, and the room had not been cleaned properly. Overall, the suite looks great in pics but due to poor upkeep in person the suite is totally disappointing. The only highlights were Ryan B the bell captain and the valets were great as well! We felt it was one of our worst hotel stays ever in all our travels. I would never trust the Virgin brand again. There are a lot of great hotels in New Orleans but this is not one of them. We rarely write bad reviews but the experience we had over four days we would be remiss not to warn others about purchasing the Richard Branson suite for any stay. The room look beat up and no one from the hotel seems to be doing any type of quality control.

They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it perfect whether you want a relaxed brunch or just a fun place to grab cocktails. The building itself is an old house that's been turned into lodging and a restaurant, which adds so much charm and character. If you're visiting NOLA, this is definitely a must-visit spot. Inside, the décor is eclectic, fun, and full of personality. It's the kind of place where you can comfortably sit at the bar for cocktails, enjoy a meal, or just relax. There are several side rooms with couches and seating areas, which makes it great for meeting friends, family, or colleagues to unwind after a busy day--or even just popping in while strolling around the city. We went for Saturday brunch, and the menu isn't huge--which I actually love because it means everything is done well. There were plenty of options, including gluten-free and vegetarian choices. The seating is comfortable and spaced out so you don't feel crowded by other diners. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was really good. The cocktails were also excellent--generous pours and well made. After brunch, we walked out back to the pool area and enjoyed another cocktail while soaking in the beautiful day. It was the perfect ending to a great brunch experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place with great food, great drinks, and a uniquely New Orleans!

The stay was *beyond my expectations* (we had been there before for drinks but not to the hotel part). Every single person we encountered on staff was SO kind and fun from the moment we walked in. Started the evening at the bar, which had a great mix of neighbors/regulars (with cute dogs) and tourists. The liquor selection and cured cocktails are magical. We checked into Room #4, which was perfect. Every room at the hotel has a record player, a Marshall external mini amp/speaker and the best mini bar selection...just knowing it was there was awesome (we did eventually cave in and enjoy some flavored pretzel twists). Dinner was SO yummy. Our waiter, Jasper, was a rock star...He arranged for a nice surprise birthday beverage. We had the gumbo (a meal in itself that was so good we saved half of it to take home and ended up devouring it cold from the mini fridge before we left the next morning...it was *that good*), the goat cheese app (the bread and the honey poured on top was divine), the stuffed redfish (once I was done with my meal, the empty plate almost looked like it was licked clean...Although tempted, I was actually able to keep my composure and not do that...) and the double stack burger (also saved to bring home and perfect for a snack this evening). The room was the ideal hideaway (located at the back of the second floor) for our little staycation. We jammed out to Muddy Waters on the turntable while getting ready (next time, we are going to borrow one of their themed record stacks...It was a work night...Monday...so we had to keep things low key). It was super easy to sign into streaming apps on the room TV...After dinner, we watched the end of the NFL Playoff game and then Netflixed and Chilled. Even though there was a large-ish reception going on downstairs, we heard nothing from our room. The breakfast (included with the room) was the perfect way to start my work day the next day. It arrived right at the selected time. Delicious coffee, eggs, breakfast potatoes and crispy bacon. The hotel wifi was great. I worked for a few hours from the room (they have a generous 1:00 pm check-out time) before we headed back home. I love the jewel toned decor, repurposed furniture and quirky ambiance (artwork, photographs, hidden/not so hidden alligator motif). They give you a *real key* for the room, which is a nice retro touch. The shower was delightful, the bedding clean, crisp and comfy. I could not think of a better way to spend the first day of the 50th year of my life. We will be planning another staycation soon when it's a little warmer and we can also enjoy the pool :) Thank you, folks at The Chloe!

Check in was quick and personable. We were told about breakfast and coffee/tea/hot chocolate available 24 hours a day. It appears to be a new hotel. There is also a small indoor pool and a fitness center. Parking was well lit and easy. An incredibly easy drive into downtown NOLA where we had business and have to have a large vehicle with us made this a real plus for us. A selection of pastries with toppings for oatmeal and more were available. I will definitely be returning here on our next visit - superb staff, clean, exceptional property and a real value in the NOLA area.

I had very good experiences in most of them, but this time, it was terrible. We were running low on the shower gel, so I asked the cleaning lady for a new bottle. She said she MUST be the one to hook it up in the shower, but my husband was taking a shower, so I told her that we know how to hook it up because we had done it, but she refused, said that she must have the old one first!! We paid $730 for 4 day stay, $178 per day!! They were worried that we could " steal " a bottle of shower gel??? Hampton Inn is by Hilton Hotel!! Does Hilton think that we would steal a bottle of shower gel, when we paid $730 staying there??? Because we didn't get the shower gel, we would wash our bottom parts with shampoo so we could save the shower gel for our bodies! Maybe Hilton should retrain the managements to be more flexible and more understanding of their customers.

After that, the general manager was incredibly difficult to reach and refused to speak with me directly. When I finally received his response, it was essentially that the employee "should have known better" and that they would not be honoring what I had been told. That is unacceptable. If a staff member represents that an exception will be made, the hotel should either honor it or at least have management speak directly with the guest and take accountability. Instead, I was brushed off and left with a charge I had been told would not happen. Our office has about 20 people who travel to the area regularly for work, and based on this experience, we will not be staying at this property going forward. Terrible customer service, poor communication, and no accountability from management.

The carpet could stand replacing in the room. Actually thinking the smell that is on the whole 3rd floor could be from new carpet in the hallway. My biggest pet peeve is NO hard line Ethernet only Wi-Fi which is never as fast. The rooms still have the cables, but they have cut off service. They don't realize some device like the Amazon Kindle is very much a pain to get on their Wi-Fi. You have a code but has to be entered on there webpage. The Kindle is just one of many devices that has a really poor browser and without internet it doesn't want to connect most of the time to their page. We had to wait till we are somewhere else were you can just connect like Starbucks or McDs. I could create a hotspot from the MacBook if I had the hardline. Neither of our cellphone plans include hotspots. Like the dual pillows pick hard or soft. The bed was also very good. OK what's with not being able to an ice machine on every floor. It's a 3 story building and only the 3rd floor doesn't have an machine (really) or washing machine. They have Cox cable and you get all the HBO and more so huge credit for that. Our room had a mini microwave and the small refrigerator both were handy. Down to food only got bacon one day they seem to like the sausage links and turkey sausage patties. They did have chocolate milk. They have popcorn machine which is nice in the evening. They are close to several good eating spots. New Orleans Food and Spirits is great. The only thing keep this from a 4 star review was the smell in the room and 3rd floor. We checked in another Holiday Inn after leaving and there was NO smell at the new location.
