I wanted to write a new review since Oasis Lanes has changed ownership recently. As you can see from my last review, I had nothing good to say a year ago. Our visit a few days ago was completely different! The lanes have been fixed and are no longer bumpy which is a HUGE plus. I love the retro feel and the size of this bowling alley. The staff was very friendly as well. We went probably about 15 minutes after they opened and had the place to ourselves for about 20 minutes. It was awesome! We will definetly be back and from now on, this will be the bowling alley we go to. Thanks to the new owners for bringing this establishment back to life!! read more

Edited review bc I'm super impressed with new owner, Tony! For starters to give context, I'm a league bowler, fairly new to the sport, but bowl pretty consistently. We came with a group of league bowlers, 16 people across four lanes. Pros: lanes seemed adequately oiled. Ball return is fast. Despite it being dark "cosmic bowling" conditions, you could see the lane marks. The lanes/ball returns seem reasonably clean. My hands look like I'm a mechanic after three games across town and they're still pretty clean in the middle of game three here. We didn't have many scoring issues. Cons: if there's a scoring issue, you have to have the front desk fix it. Pretty minor as these things go!!! I'll come back. For sure. I'm really grateful to have playable lanes in Apple Valley, and I genuinely believe this place will be great. I bowled here as a kid in the 90s and would love for it to become a regular haunt for me, now that I'm an adult. Thank you, to the new owners and staff for giving this place a shot. I genuinely want it to work out here for them. read more

Small bowling alley with retro lights and bowling balls. Friendly helpful staff. Not overcrowded. Has pool table, prize games, pinball etc. bumpers and dragon ramps for kids. Had a great time! Will be going once or twice a month h for sure!!! read more

Made a reservation a week in advance, was told it's scheduled and written down and all I need to do is show up. Come day of no reservation found and all lanes booked. No apology and was told there's nothing they can do. read more

My son and I love it here. We've been coming here since 2022 and our bowling experience has only gotten better. Tony and his staff are great. They always make us feel at home and are very friendly. My son and I both agree that this will be our alley for life and we both look forward to our bowling weekends here. read more

Affordable family fun. New ownership has done a nice job at providing a pleasant experience. I don't know what it was like before but my friend who had previously been said it looked cleaner and nicer. They have some refreshments available and great pricing. We paid 1/2 price for bowling during the week between 12 and 4. It was roughly $25 for 4 people for one hour including shoe rental. Can't beat that price especially on a hot summer day. read more

Fun location to bowl in the high desert. Just wish it was a little more modern. But, overall it still is a great place to take the family.

If you're bringing your own ball. Don't plan on bowling here. The ball return completely ruined my ball. Probably an ok place for families and kids, but if you're any bit serious about bowling go down the hill. Personally I'm extremely dissatisfied with the establishment. read more

Love this place! My son and I always enjoy our time bowling here. Always clean and smells good.

We come here at least once a month. Our youth group had an event here back in April and we have been coming ever since. It's an older bowling alley but we prefer this to the other one on the other side of town. It doesn't smell of smoke (compared to the other one). It's usually quiet. We have also come here for a couple of birthday parties awhile back and the staff are always kind and friendly. I would recommend this for a fun family activity. The price is also reasonable. read more

I like this place. The lanes are nice. They could put a lot more oil though. If you bowl with a curve it can hook very early. Other than that the place is awesome and the staff is amazing. I hope they get enough customers to keep the improvements going. read more

This place USED to be great. Now it is falling a part. At first I thought maybe it was COVID related, but after working here I know it is ownership. Balls are in horrible condition so bring your own. Lanes are hardly ever oiled and lane machines are constantly broken. There is no longer a bar or snack bar The only source of cold drinks are either beer or broken vending machines that steal your money 90% of the time. During the summer time it's probably a good idea to bring a bandana that you can get wet and keep on your neck because it is extremely hot in there. So hot that a few people have left for fear of heatstroke. Employees aren't treated with fairness or equality. Any internal ideas on how to improve business are either ignored or overlooked. You aren't given warnings for change of schedule, or change of PAY. I missed work for one week and i was in the ER most of that time. When I came back the owner said I was now being paid less and I only had 8 hours a week. Needless to say, this is not the place you want to work for. read more

THIS PLACE WAS SO GREAT !! Major shout to the employee Jesus. He was very nice and accommodating. Soon as we walked into the alley it felt very welcoming and nostalgic as if you suddenly got thrown back into the 90s it was such a fun experience. The music was very diverse a little for everyone. Plenty and plenty of bowling balls to choose from so everybody will be bowling comfortably. Overall I can say that the reviews you will read about this place are totally bogus my visit today was a 10/10 I will certainly be back and I will be recommending this place to friends and family. Hosted a birthday party here and who I think was the owner was very rude. He kept walking past me as I waited at the counter to pay and had an attitude with me, my husband, and my guests the entire time. We also got charged more than expected, based off what their rates were for parties on their website, so we don't even know where the extra charges came from as he didn't tell us what he was charging for. They also used to have pitchers for drinks, but now the only drinks they had, and allowed inside, were the ones in vending machines that only took cash so we had to go around take orders of what our guests wanted to drink. Definitely won't be coming back here. read more

This place is great if you have a bunch of kids and are bumper bowling. You can bring your own food. However, if you want to attempt to bowl a real game, it's impossible. The lanes are extremely dry. If I had to guess, I would say they are oiled twice a month at best. As a right handed bowler, the only strikes possible were Brooklyn. Even then, it was 50/50 I ended up in the gutter. Bottom line, bring the little ones and have fun. Otherwise, head over to victor bowl. read more

I was kinda worried about coming here because the one low review but I figured what the hell since the other place was full. I called and asked if they had open lanes on a Friday night at 6pm. They did and they were cheap. The games are $3.50 each and shoes are also three dollars. Beer is $18 for a bucket of 6 bud light. The beer is pretty well stocked with other stuff. People have a nice beer selection if they want. I'm just a bud light girl. I'm not sure this is a hard alcohol place. They don't have hot food either. They might on different days or during parties. They did have snacks. I was just here for beer and bowling. The lanes were good and the other people who were here seemed to be the local regular crowd. The employees were very nice and the guy who helped me was super sweet. read more

Worst place to go in the high desert. Don't answer their phones and said online that league started at 6:30PM. We got there at 5:10PM to play a game. We called from 4 o'clock on to see if it was open. No answer. Walked in to 6 employees standing at the front counter, nobody in the place, and were told "nope, league only tonight". That was it. Walked out. Would never go back and will literally tell everyone I know to never go here. Don't ever give this place business, they very clearly don't want it and haven't for years. Place is an absolute dump. Will always go to Victor bowl from here on out. read more

This used to be a great place! We went for the first time in years and we're treated absolutely awful by what I'm assuming was the owner. Aside from the fact that the place is super run down, in disrepair and no longer offers anything except vending machines; the guy was super rude to everyone in our group!! And they shorted us 15 minutes on our hour lane rentals. All in all a horrible place, won't be returning ever again. read more

I went with my little brother to spend some time with him and nobody else was in the building except fo some workers. We were in the middle of our game when they decided to clean our lane and our lane alone. When I asked if they could switch us to a different lane he refused and made us wait another 20 minutes to finish our game. Not only was the customer service terrible, but the lanes are too. I could bowl a perfectly straight ball and it would somehow jump into the air and onto another lane the bowling balls wouldn't come back nearly every time we bowled and the pins are shot out. Had four lanes open and refused to rent us two for my family for my mothers birthday.Many customers were turned away as well.

Had an itch to go bowling but didn't feel like driving to Victorville. Showed up around 6:00 on a Saturday. Place was a lot busier that I thought it would be. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shoes were new! The places is really dated and there is no snack bar, only down side! Overall we had a good time and the price was right! Will come back for sure! read more

Been here a couple of times now. Nice place to bowl except for 2 things. One: They never have any food items, bar was closed and the vending machines only have drinks. Two: They have neat little dinosaur things for younger kids to bowl with. Essentially they line up the shot and it rolls down for them. Only problem with that, is there's only 2 for the whole bowling alley. Ended up sharing with other families so spent a lot of time standing around waiting our turn. Overall a nice place, just don't come hungry or on a day when more than one family is already there. read more

It was very fun but the man needs another employee I waited like 20 minutes but other than that it was great for the price really cheap, they do not have hot food as well so that was another bummer. No Stars!!! I called here to see if they had pool tables and the OWNER kept hanging up on me and telling me that pool tables are not his concern. So I drove there and confronted the owner and he didn't care at all that I was there, upset and insulted by his cavalier attitude.
