I am a trained massage therapist, teacher, former director of a well known massage school, as well as former practitioner. I am highly skilled. I knew when I got a massage from Michelle that she was a gifted therapist. She answers her calls so she can schedule her clients as soon as possible. She does not have a receptionist or answering service. Your review is hard on a person who is different. I believe she needs extra support and understanding rather than a scathing review. .

This is the person for you! I have had massage work in the past and one incident left me very physically and emotionally hurt, you might even say I had post traumatic stress from it. So I avoided massages for almost 10 years (not evan joking it was that traumatic) I work as an aesthetician myself, so I am familiar with massage therapist in the work place. Still, I never felt comfortable with anyone working on, never mind evan touching me. Than I met Beth through mutual friends, some months past and I was in a horrible car accident, I had SERVE WHIPLASH, and was in constant pain! Soft tissue damage is the worst feeling. Especially when you are on your feet all day, and your job requires you to use your full body to complete your tasks at hand. After 2 physically therapists, and a chiropractor, with still no relief . She is extremely professional and before we began, she showed me her licenses and explained what I could expect from the massage, including the various massage tools she would be using. I've been to Chatham Bars Inn as part of a group, and the massage was ok, but the "bedside manner" made me feel like a number in a crowd. It was far more expensive and far less personalized. I won't be going to CBI again, and I have signed up for once monthly massages with Kim. Also, it's good to know that Le Petit Day Spa can accommodate 5 people at a time, each in separate and private rooms.

My credit card bill says I paid 235.60. I think they upsold the "type" of massage without talking with me about it. They also charge a 4% credit card surcharge, which violates merchant rules with the networks and is not very expected for a high-end establishment and price point. 2. Sadly my massage just wasn't very effective. Very light pressure throughout. I left with most of all the same muscle tension that I went in with. I've had a lot of massages and this one was like 95th percentile in price and 30th percentile in effectiveness.
