Front office staff is unprofessional. I had a scheduled appointment, when I arrived I was told that I had to pay that my insurance didn't cover. I told receptionist that I would just cancel today's appointment so they dismissed me from the practice! Because I didn't give 24 hrs notice, then I was told I was a NO CALL NO SHOW! I have been coming to this dentist office for 4 years now and I do enjoy coming. It's nicely decorated, calming, and clean. The hygienists have always been kind and attentive, especially since I'm nervous about going to dentists and doctors. I prefer the female dentist due to some instances I've had with the male doctor. When I needed my wisdom teeth out, I took time off of work and so did my husband to drive me home. When I got here, I waited a really long tone and then the male dentist asked me to come to his office and explained that basically he had not looked at my x rays prior to me coming in and only just now realized he needed to refer me to a specialist. Not only did I lose time off of work and so did my husband, I had not budgeted for the specialist and had to wait a month to get an appointment (all the while I was in pain). Additionally, when I came in pregnant he made an odd comment to me about it that I don't care to share. Overall, I still recommend this place and I am still fine with seeing the male dentist, but I'm just leaving an honest review. read more

I'd give it 0 stars if I could, guess I dodged a bullet here. So I had an appointment like last week for my 1st visit and when I called it just so happen to be an open time for the next day which was great based off my pain level. So the next day arrives but it's colder than normal in Concord and they delay school by 2hrs for my kids. I called abound 6-7am since they was closed I left a message explaining my situation. So I never got a call back or anything I just called today which is a week later to let them know hey I want to go ahead and reset up my appointment. First she lied and said I wasn't in the system the last person put me in wrong. Then they said that due to your cancellation as a new patient we can no longer accept you at this time so in so many words you're saying I should've just came anyway forget my situation rather it was legit or not you didn't care too much to hear why just he didn't show up oh well to be canceled and don't come in I feel like you did me more of a favor because when I read the website all the reviews are saying that this was a bad place to go to and now I see why so great job on making those views true 100% I would definitely avoid this place at all cost at sounds great to have a spa but I don't even want to go to the at this point best wishes to this practice don't know how long you'll be around i heardthis was a new location read more

I was new for this area and went to Oasis dentist (including my wife). It was a bad experience, the dentist don't have time to go over about the treatment or patient teaching, they were in and out to the next customer. They did a poor job and my wife is still in pain and can't drink anything cold. Once they know that we not going back, they sent us a bill $200 which we don't owe them. One and done with this facility. 1. Initial trip was ended up with additional charges which were never discussed - Dr's office fixed these though 2. While trying to collect my records, front office was pretty rude - misplaced my original request and had to drive twice and redo my signature. No indication on what happened to my original request which had my personal info on it. Called Dr's office to leave this feedback and they never returned my call back. Made an appointment at the charlotte location for a regular teeth cleaning, took off 3 hours of work to have them take my X-rays and then say they didn't have time to clean my teeth. Furious but decided to give another chance and schedule an apt at their concord location a month later for my cleaning. this review is too long but you must read it if you are planning to go to Oasis Dentistry don't go there, the worst dentistry I have been to. I went there to remove my wisdom teeth. when they took the X-rays at my first visit, the doctor said it would be easy to remove. so I made another appointment to have my teeth done by Dr. Landers. the first tooth he removed was the upper left which was fine. then he started working on the lower left, it took too long. while removing the second tooth, the nurse said to the doctor "I think I f**ked it up". then few minutes later Dr. Landers said "f**k" and it sounded like he was really pissed off. this made me so nervous and I was breathing hardly. after he was done from the left side, he told me "this ganna be bad" referring to the right side. he removed the lower bottom and then said that he could not remove the upper light because of the way it's positioned. he referred me to another surgeon to remove my left tooth. what really piss me off is that he said that he could remove all of them, then after removing three teeth he said he couldn't remove the fourth one. now I have to make another appointment to have it done and go again through the terrible days where you can't eat like normal people. finally, they always make you wait to see the doctor. I waited 30 min each visit till they called my name. read more

Save your the time and trouble, don't go to Oasis Densitry! - For starters, they require payments up rather than charging your insurance and you recieving a bill. Not to mention, they over charge and then credit your account, i finally recieved notice 1.5 years after my treatment that I have a credit. I will be demanding a check as I wont be going there again. The front staff is unprofessional, not trained in customer service, and completely messed up my payments. Also, when i got to my appointment, we had to change rooms 3 times, I was there for 45 mins without having done anything but walking all around the office with the hygenist. Dr. Veronica noticed i had an extracted back tooth and made me watch a short video on why it needs implant, regardless of having 3 oral surgeons saying it wasn't necessary for me. Dr. Antonio Landers was a nightmare! He was aggressive in filling 1 cavity, I almost wanted to cry and stop him (regardless of my very high pain tolerance). And come to find out that he drilled so much and didn't fill the tooth all the way that I need a root canal. If I had more faith in their organization, I would go to them to fix it, but that won't be happening!!! - On a positive note, there was a woman dentist (not Dr. V) who was very sweet, gentle, and compassionate that filled 1 cavity, SHE WAS GREAT! Also, their vibrating/massaging exam chairs are pleasant - unfortuntaley not pleasant enough to make it worth it. read more

Honest but long review...Another money minded dentist couple..run for ur life!! First they get u for small stuff like cavities... No explanations given unless u ask questions... They will put high cost filling which insurance does not cover.. And the good faith estimate indicates full coverage. Then they say insurance policies changed. Insurance says not a single change post 2011. A few minor cavity fillings and 8 months of pain (still suffering). Can't eat or drink water w/o pain. First, They gossip while fixing it.. They hit my tooth hard while cleaning and I get this horrid cold sensation and I gasp out loud(when ur mouth is numb and full of clamps, u can't really talk or scream) but managed to say " COLDDD". They laugh and say ya, it will be like that! Caring for patients? No, I don't think so.. After procedure I have numbing PAIN LAST 8 months?Go for a repeat consult on the pain and now they say the tooth which had a cavity filling needs a root canal.. R u kidding me? It was a minor cavity... U hit it hard, damaged the nerve.. Now a root canal... !!! If u value ur health and teeth go elsewhere... This is lifetime torture. read more

BAD EXPERIENCE! I had an appointment with Antonio Landers to get a root canal and have a tooth surgical extracted. The next morning I was driving to work and had to pull over and call 911, because I was having so much pain on the left side of my neck. EMS came and took me to the ER, they diagnosis me with pinched nerve and muscle spasm. They gave me pain medicine, a muscle relaxer and a steroid and sent me home. Five days later I was in the ER again with extreme pain on the left side of my neck the pain was consistent and did not allow me to sleep. They diagnosed me with pinch nerve as well and gave me morphine for pain and sent me home. Nine days later I was in the ER again with the same symptoms. They gave me 3 shots to try and reduce my pain. I left the ER and went to my primary care physician and he said that it was not a coincidence my neck was in a compromised position during the procedure that caused my neck pain. He sent me to a specialist the specialist sent me to therapy. Now I'm going through therapy. This has been the worst time of my life. I reached out to Kat the office manager several times and left messages for her and got my insurance company involved they left a message, and she never responded. I had to get my Insurance Company, Consumer Protection and Board Of Dental Examiners involved because they are not responding. They responded when I had appointments. I wouldn't take a chance with this practice they will mess you up and keeping moving like they didn't do anything wrong. read more

I had gone to Oasis Dentistry 2 years ago to get a wisdom tooth pulled. It was my first one. Took forever and the next day got a dry socket because it wasn't packed good enough. Had to go back to get it repacked. Got a bill in the mail. I have been paying on it slowly. Sorry but don't have a lot of money right now. Went back the following year and got a second wisdom tooth pulled. They helped me with no questions. Today I go to them to get a cleaning and not on the phone while I made the appointment, but they waited until I traveled 20 mins to get to there for my appointment to tell me there was still a balance on my account and they could not help me until it was paid. Well if I had the money I would have paid it, don't you think, plus they wasted my gas and time and a babysitter for me to go all the way over there to tell me they couldn't help me. All they care about is money and not the well being of the customer especially when my insurance would haved covered it all and nothing more added to my balance. I was so mad and angry. To say they will not get another dime from me. I was trying to make payments and doing the best I could but if that isn't enough well neither is bringing my service to you. This place does not deserve ANY stars, but Yelp won't let me do that, so they get one. HORRIBLE PLACE--DO NOT GO!!!! I was told that I needed a root canal on a tooth that had been crowned, so obviously it would need to be re-crowned. Plus the tooth beside it also needed to be re-crowned, even though I am having no issues with it. I have no insurance so I opted for an extraction for the tooth that needed a root canal as it is in the back. Dr. Harlowe ripped half of the crown off of the tooth he wasn't working on and said "You'll need to get that one done sooner rather than later. No "oops", or "I'm sorry". Had to go back the next day for him to sew up where the extraction was since it was still bleeding . So, I miss two days of work for an extraction, have a tooth that has half of a crown, and can't afford to have it fixed. I asked for a discount greater than the normal 20% cash pay discount as IT IS THEIR FAULT that it happened, It took almost 2 weeks for the office manager, Stewart, to respond to my request, and then only because I called to cancel mine and my daughter's cleanings that were scheduled. I told the lady on the phone to tell Stewart thank you for not calling me back. He IMMEDIATELY called back and said he had not gotten to ask Dr, Landers about the discount yet--he did call me tonight and told me that the discount is the discount and I would get nothing further. So, if you go to this place do so at your own risk--they will create problems and expenses for you! Never again! read more
