Honest Review of My Visits: I visited Smile Solutions for…read morethe first time on Monday, November 10, 2025, after scheduling an emergency appointment to repair a chipped tooth. I'll be the first to admit: going to the dentist is not exactly my favorite hobby, however life (and teeth) happens. I arrived with one goal in mind: fix the tooth. Nothing more, nothing less. Front Desk & First Impressions: The front desk receptionist was warm, friendly, and charming. The lobby was cute with light music playing which is a nice touch for someone whose nerves were already plotting an escape. The wait time was short, and I was called back quickly. The restroom was clean! Dental Assistant & Dentist: The dental assistant was very kind and personable, though I wasn't my usual chatty self since it was early and I was on a tight schedule. After X-rays, the dentist came in, introduced herself, and asked thorough preliminary questions. I especially appreciated her sensitivity in making sure my chipped tooth wasn't the result of any unsafe circumstance. Before I knew it, she reclined the chair and began working. My heart was racing, my palms were sweaty, and I was moments away from calling for a timeout-but suddenly, she was done. Quick, efficient, and practically magical. Things I Didn't Love: I wasn't a fan of the music playing during the appointment. I also didn't enjoy being approached mid-appointment by a receptionist requesting payment before treatment. While I understand the business perspective, having completed all paperwork online, checked in, and provided my insurance card, l assumed payment at the end would have been sufficient. Quality of Work: Despite the minor hiccups, I was very pleased with the actual dental work. My tooth looked great. Second Visit - Even Better I returned for a second visit on Thursday and received the same warm greeting and short wait time. This time, jazz was playing this is an immediate improvement and I have zero complaints. I met the dental hygienist, Amika, who was incredibly gentle and completed a thorough assessment of my mouth, including bitewing X-rays. I also really appreciated the diversity within the staff, which made me feel even more comfortable and welcomed. I met with Dr. Smalls again to create a dental plan that genuinely feels customized and solution focused- truly living up to the name Smile Solutions!

Still in pain, went back and treated for a high bite. Still in pain 2 weeks after, find out I need a root canal, on the same tooth after 10 xrays were taken. The practice utilized all of my insurance allowance. I was told Dr Miller, the owner that drilling thru the new cap was "more complex" than his abilites so i was referred to an outside surgeon. Yes, i was asked to cough up another 1.8K as they dont take insurance. Still in pain with no insurance and either pay 1.8K or have the new crown pulled. Great position they left me with. AVOID THIS PRACTICE if you want good dental healthcare.

It's also family friendly so will be switching our kids over as well. Obviously we are all aware these types of visits don't always start in a timely manner which is something they can work on. But I think they do get a lot of other things right. They took great care of my husband who has been back several times for a bit of work he needs done. I have been to 3 offices and they all do the same stuff. They will cancel and reschedule your appointment moving it around to earlier or later in the day without your permission and give it to other people. They will make you come back just to bill for extra office visits. They did work on both sides of my mouth and I cannot chew on either side and they told me it'll go away and it never did. They did work on my son without discussing it with me OR the treatment plan with me they told me fillings but he left with SILVER CAPS. They left my daughter in a dental emergency FOR MONTHS which caused severe damage to her gums. After I paid off her braces they moved us around multiple times for the last office to say we still owed them $387?!!!!?!! They could NEVER answer this or even attempted to investigate this for me. And it was after ALL of this I reported them to their headquarters because I had enough and they only focused on my reaction (which was warranted based on this history) instead of the unethical, unprofessional, poor service they offered. Luckily for me I already moved my family to a much more professional office. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! Check their reviews on these apps AND BBB. TERRIBLE COMPANY! I am happy that my entire family chose to make this our provider for dental care. The office is modern and nicely decorated. It just feels clean. The waiting area is spacious and comfortable. The rooms are private. Their equipment is up-to-date. They use current technology. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They listen to the patient and strive to do a great job. I see Dr. Reid Chaney. He is professional, talented, and actually has a sense of humor. He personally called me on my cell phone to check on me the last time I had two fillings repaired. Donna M. has been my hygienist for many year. I actually look forward to my dental visits because of the staff. The most adorable staff member is Adkins. Adkins is a yellow lab Facility dog there to reduce anxiety for the dental patients. She is amazingly well behaved. She is sweet and gentle. You are asked if you are okay with Adkins before being introduced in case of allergies or aversion to dogs. Adkins makes my day. I am happy to be a patient at this office. I highly recommend it.

They keep referring me to another location much further away from my house. You can never keep the same dentist and it makes it even moire difficult to reschedule an appointment if you request to a dentist you prefer. Dr Massari and her dental assistant go through a little skit of sorts when they have to numb a child's mouth. It definitely helps them get through the fear of the shot. Dr Massari is honest, never doing more than what is needed. She explains everything she is doing. Dr Massari has a heart of gold. A day or two after any large procedure Dr Massari herself calls her patients and checks on them. Amazing! And greatly appreciated. I posted a picture of the tree room. They have other rooms such as a kite room, a beach room, etc. each room has such personality. Between the front desk, the dental hygienists, and the dental assistant; the entire staff are terrific. Many have been there from the beginning. That's a great sign for a great leader. Dr Massari IS the best!
