The latest owner is focusing more on saltwater fish and coral. They know about the fish that the sell and have all the equipment for the care of your fish. The only downside to the focus on saltwater fish is that it is taking away their freshwater fish selection. Before you could find odd freshwater fish such as the Belonesox, Nigerian Bicher, Longnose Gar, Arowannas and many more that are no longer there. But if you want saltwater, go there, and if they don't have what you want, they order fish ever Wednesday.

I would live here if i could! Tony is a very kind and…read moreknowledgeable man. Before he sells any of his animals he makes sure they are very healthy and happy. If you have any questions on any of the animals Tony, his wife or his staff are always willing to help in anyway they can. I bought two royal pythons and a fish from them. All of them are still very healthy. Any time I have trouble with my pets (even the ones I didn't purchase there) they are always willing to give me advise or help in any way they can. Sometimes when I go in just to buy some food or something small for my pets I end up staying for hours just playing with the animals and talking to who ever is working there at the time. Everyone is very friendly and they all know me, and get to know all of their clientele as much as they can. All of their stock for the animals is safe clean and new. If you live in the greater northwest Ohio area and want a new pet or need something for your own, this is defiantly the place to go.

This is one of my favorite pet supply shops! They also can order in items that are not currently in stock, which can be extremely helpful. They will take time to help you with questions, and give great recommendations. There's also two sweet cats that roam and live in the shop, although they suggest keeping your cats (no problem with dogs) out of their view if you bring them, since they can be territorial. Overall I've had a great experience as of now, and I've been coming here for close to a year.

Secret Shopper Here!…read more I do this for a living, usually have to report back to a certain upper, but at this extent I feel the need to put it on Google and yelp reviews so that the community would be aware I had a very disappointing experience at this pet store, and I won't be returning. The biggest concern was the overall health of the animals. Several pets did not appear to be in the condition I would expect from a store that is supposed to prioritize animal welfare. It's heartbreaking to see living animals treated as inventory instead of being properly cared for. The staff was another major issue. They were unfriendly, dismissive, and seemed to have very little knowledge about the animals they were selling. I was given incorrect information about proper reptile lighting, which could seriously affect an animal's health if a new owner followed that advice. A pet store should be a reliable source of accurate husbandry information, not misinformation. Customer service was just as disappointing. It was difficult to get anyone's attention, and when I finally did, I felt like I was inconveniencing the employees. The manager was rude, unprofessional, and showed little interest in addressing concerns or helping resolve problems. The store also had very little inventory compared to what was advertised, making the trip a waste of time. To make matters worse, they refused to honor valid, unexpired coupons and provided inconsistent explanations as to why they wouldn't accept them. I also noticed products, including food and medications, that appeared to be expired or approaching expiration. That's unacceptable for products intended to keep pets healthy. Overall, this store needs significant improvement in employee training, customer service, inventory management, and its commitment to both animal welfare and the customers who trust them. Until those issues are addressed, I cannot recommend shopping here.
