I've always appreciated the Oakley brand for its quality products, and now, knowing they hire exceptional individuals like Maite who are so dedicated to their customers, makes me like the brand even more. I came in on Sunday, found some glasses I liked. As an educator myself I always ask if discounts are offered. I was told by one team member when asked that the store does give educator discounts. As I am ready to pay, the person at register says "I'm sorry I don't know what he is talking about." Manager was called and he said no we don't offer that. The only reason I made my purchase was because of the 15% off I was told I would get. It was pretty upsetting and to not hold up the line further, I paid the full price. Oakley Vault - Front Entrance - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Cabazon, California

I'm conflicted but must state my experience. I'm a road cyclist. Driving home I decided to stop at the Oakley vault as some models are only available in store. When I visited a young man helped me. He was polite and enthusiastic. It was refreshing. There was another gentleman who was grumpy looking and just stared at me the entire time. Arms crossed. I consider myself a medical professional in my work life at the Director level. I take customer service serious and hold my team to a high level of expectations for our patients. In this case this guy was on me as if I were there to steal sunglasses. It was really uncomfortable. I spent a few minutes looking at other models since the ones I went there for were not available. This dude literally made me not buy a pair. While the young dude was awesome, I would not recommend this store due to this other guys BS. On top of this, they would not honor the sale price listed online for 4th of July sale. Oakleys are great Oakley vaults customer service, not so much. read more

I was heading back home from some business ventures in the dessert cities when I spotted the Cabazon Outlets and all of sudden remembered that I needed to get some shopping done! I had been looking for the perfect pair of sunglasses to replace my current pair that was on its way to retirement, so I decided to head over to the Oakley Vault and see what they had. Upon entering the store, I was greeted ; however, not bombarded like I've come to expect sometimes and that has ultimately deterred me from shopping in stores now a days! There was two sales associates that made themselves available but again not pushy... this a good thing for a shopper like me. I was looking for a pair of Oakley that was not too boxy, or too small ( what can I say, i have a big head ) and that was lightweight and sporty! After several tries and with the assistance of these two friendly, yet not in your face pushy sales associates, I was able to find the perfect pair! I got the Turbine with a polished frame and a prizm, black polarized frame! I wasn't going to review after all but I realized today that I really , really like my new pair and the least I could do was give some credit to the Oakley Vault and their two sales associates for assisting me in finding my perfect pair! At least I got a date shake! Oakley Vault was an online store for Oakley that sold a ton of discounted Oakley products. The online site is closed and attempting to access it leads you to the Oakley.com site that does have a link for sale items. Since we were passing by this shop, I didn't finish my online purchase and left the items in my check out cart. We stopped by here and they had almost identical items as the sale link, but this store cost more. I left and went next door to get a shake at Hadleys. That date shake was a winner. Items were indeed higher here by as much as 25% compared to the Oakley page. They were identical items. I received no help at this store...no assistance whatsoever. When I got home I just went to my checkout box in Oakley.com and finished my online order. Also, Oakley.com had an after Christmas 25% off sale on various apparel, glasses and accessories. This shop did have a sale on the glasses and some select items. I've always been an Oakley fan and easily spend over 1k a year religiously. I do miss Oakleyvault.com but still use the regular site plus the store in Irvine where I have never seen sale items listed full price. To each his own..but I have experienced better. read more

Hubby loves this store, and they have had some fantastic sales the last few times we've gone in. (e.g. bathing suits for $20, hats starting from $15, Angels/Oakley gear from $10) Great selection of sunglasses, too. I personally don't wear Oakleys, so I can't compare if there's a difference in prices... but... everyone who works here is friendly and attentive. My wife and I have been here numerous times and have always been treated great. I wanted to personally say thank you and give credit to Ibeth (sorry if it's misspelled) she went above and beyond and during these crazy times if Covid credit needs to be given to her. We walked out with I believe 6 pairs of glasses and she was very thorough and attentive to us while we were there. With the limit of 6 people in the store at a time we never felt rushed to get out at all. The prices and service are awesome in this store and again Ibeth deserves all the credit. read more

Purchased two pairs of sunglasses from the Oakley Vault store at the Cabazon factory outlet store late in the afternoon on a Sunday drive back to San Diego from Palm Springs. One pair was a replacement for some Spike sunglasses that I thought I had lost; the other was a new pair for my bf. I specifically asked if I could return the glasses to any Oakley Store or Vault if I found my original sunglasses. The sales rep told me that I could return them to any Oakley store within 30 days if they were in the same condition as when I purchased them. I finished the drive back to San Diego without using the glasses, as the sun had set by time we left the outlet mall. The next day I found my missing sunglasses in my work car. Today, six days after purchasing the replacement sunglasses, I tried to return them to the Carlsbad location. The sales representative cleaned the sunglasses really well and repeatedly. The representative claimed to see a scratch, which neither myself or my bf could see even with her attempting to point it out. The Carlsbad store refused to process a return, and referred me to their toll free customer service number. I advised her that the sunglasses had never been worn, or even removed from the box. She claimed that most cashiers usually check all sunglasses for scratches at the register and in the presence of the customer. I told her that the representative at the Cabazon store did not do so, and that was probably because we had three different sales people help us over our hour of shopping in the store. When I left the Carlsbad store, I dialed the customer service number. After waiting on hold for over half an hour, a representative came on and was less than helpful. Turns out that Oakley Store and Vaults are not actually part of the Oakley Company. The rep said that I should actually file a claim through their website rather than phone, but I went on their site to do so and the site refers me to call the toll free customer service number. WTF? It is very disappointing that nobody at Oakley, or their stores and vault, wants to take ownership of the issue. I have bought six pair of sunglasses (each priced at $300 plus) over the last eight years, and will never be able to purchase another pair due to the lack of concern and customer service. Their policy may save them this sale, but they will never have any return sales from me. I will be filing a claim for refund with my credit card issuer as I have not been able to resolve this issue with Oakley, and hope to recover the charge. I strongly advise anybody that purchases Oakley to be sure and have the sales representative clean and inspect them, and then inspect them yourself to ensure you are receiving a quality product that is free of defect and damage. Update on 4/5: The San Diego store processed the refund. The women working there saw a small scratch, but when I explained the story above story one of them said "They have been coming that way" and told the other representative to process the return. They even stated that they would contact the Cabazon store to remind them to check sunglasses before letting them leave the store with the purchasers. I described the lost pair and she found an identical replacement "prebuilt" pair, which saved me even more. She made it quick and easy, and I continued my trip. read more

Went to the store today to get replacement lenses or new sunglasses if it was more cost efficient. I was greeted and helped right away! Kevin explained my options and in the end I only had to get new lenses and a nose piece, he saved me easily 75 bucks and made my old shades like brand new. Only once have I found a great deal here. Still, we pass by each time we drive by in the hopes of finding some terrific bargains. Oakley sunglasses make terrifc gifts, and they make quality sunglasses which last a long time. This branch is located in the Cabazon Outlet not the Desert Hills Premium Outlet. Within a couple of minutes, i was told by the employee that I couldn't complete this transaction because their system was down all day. What business in this modern era of technology conducts business when the very basic systems in place aren't functioning. This is a substandard ghetto place to shop at. This is a nice store. It is not in the thick of the outlet mall, but on the East End. Why add that, because if your not a shopper type you can go in and ask the good staff and they will find you just what you need. They have always had sales when I have gone, often BOGO half off etc. I usually buy 2 pairs and want to get the style and lens needed. They do not have all the styles the retail stores do, but they have a lot. We love the quick in and out without endless parking and other nightmares of outlet malls. read more

Found some great deals on golf polos and had fun trying on glasses. Found a pair of Union Jack frogskins that I haven't seen before. Good service too. Not too pushy, but always nearby when we needed help. We will definitely be back next time we come to Cabazon. read more

This review is solely based on the horrible, pushy, unprofessional and rude attempt at service provided by EDDIE (supposedly a new sales associate). My family has shopped and purchased at this Cabazon Oakley for years now. We've always enjoyed shopping at this Oakley and have made multiple purchases here throughout the years. Yesterday, we went in to shop for a pair of sunglasses for my son and my husband. We were being helped by Louis the sales associate and he was doing a fine job showing us the different models and colors of sunglasses when out of nowhere and for no particular reason, EDDIE steps up and starts telling my husband to stop caring about what sunglasses my son was getting and to focus on a pair for himself because it was buy one get one 50% off sale right now. Throughout the time Louis was assisting us, EDDIE stepped up and interjected himself 3 times to attempt to "sell" to my husband and son with his "used car salesman" tactics. The last straw was when he stepped up and interrupted while my husband was talking with Louis about one of the lenses. My husband asked him to step back, he wouldn't and continued to talk, at which point my husband thanked Louis for his time and we all walked out. After a few minutes, my 2 sons and I returned and asked to speak to the manager. We reported all that had happened and told him we didn't appreciate EDDIE's snide remark when we left, he turned to Louis and said, "they weren't going to buy anything anyway." Shows how much he doesn't know because both my son and husband each picked up a pair from the Oakley at Ontario Mills after we left Cabazon. I believe Cabazon Oakley needs to vet their sales associates more carefully, you need more like Louis (professional and friendly) and definitely don't need ones like EDDIE (rude and unprofessional), unless you want to lose all your loyal customers! The store has a good selection and was helped by a very attentive sales associate, but had limited knowledge. The checkout process was too long and horrendous, took 2 associates and a store manager to finalize the sale. It's cool that you can turn in your old oakley pair, which they refurbish for the needy and receive a credit towards a purchase. read more
