Moore is shady and definitely bad business. Sure they'll help and pick up your love one but if you dont use them for services expect to be emotionally and financially hit, and no they wont tell you that even less than 24hrs will cost 390.00 on top of all other funeral expenses you'll incur.

The lady in the office was very kind and probably used to people crying. By the time I met with the John Monzingo, the funeral director, I knew what I wanted. They have all the usual things available at a funeral home, I have to say, I wasn't interested in all the side show stuff. Mr. Monzingo got a pretty fast read on me and was very helpful putting together a plan for my final wishes. The only expense for my family will be opening and closing the grave, that is the only thing you can't prepay. I gave Mr. Monzingo a real laugh when we parted and he shook my hand, he said, " I hope to see you again." I said, "You will definitely see me again, I just hope I see you again!" She recommended Roger Shepherd to do the officiating for the service and he did an outstanding job. They allowed us to bring food for talking and meeting after the service. I would highly recommend them and they are also very affordable considering the cost of other funeral services in Tulsa. The chapel is at the same location with plenty of parking.

They did not tie her hands together before embalming her, they did not remove any of the hospital bands, EKG stickers or tape. Jennifer Beaty told us that we didn't need to give them any clothes and that they would put a gown on her she did not mention that the gown she meant was the hospital gown she was in when she passed away. They also did not tie her down correctly when they shipped her so she was moving all around in the box. When my mother arrived back home she looked nothing like herself I didn't even recognize her. Jennifer's communication or lack thereof is HORRIBLE. I was supposed to be the one who she communicated with and she never reached out to me. She stated my mother would be shipped back home on a certain date and she was not and she did not communicate that with me I had to find out from a family member. They did not allow my stepdad to see my mother although when we met with Jennifer she said we could see her in a couple days if we wanted to. My stepdad called several times for days and they gave him the run around each time he called. We just had a HORRIBLE experience with Butler-Stumpff & Dyer. Only positive is that they were able to pick my mother up from the hospital within 2 hours of us contacting them.
