And just last month, I took my latest addition in to get up-to-date on her vaccinations & to receive calming meds for a four-day road trip (my cat only rides in my car for vet visits, so I wanted to be prepared for any potential anxiety during the 10+ hour drive each day). This was the first time I met Dr. B's son, who started off by saying, "I LOVE cats." This put me at great ease because I knew my spoiled little furball would be in excellent hands despite just meeting the new veterinarian. Everything went even better than I imagined & he gave me a thorough explanation on what to expect when administering Gabapentin to my cat. During her exam, he also mentioned that one of her teeth was almost ready to fall out which took me by complete surprise! He showed me the plaque buildup & I guess I hadn't realized that it had actually been some time since her last appointment...back when her little chompers were sparkling white. I was advised to get an enzymatic toothpaste for pets (which I actually purchased just a week before her appointment, go figure) & although I said she probably wouldn't let me come close to her teeth ever again, he assured me without the slightest bit of hesitation: "You can do it!" We also discussed diet & more specifically, taurine content in cat kibble. The doctor wished us safe travels & we were on our way. *I wanted the Gabapentin as a "just in case" & fortunately, didn't have to use it. My gal was as sweet as pie & only disrupted my sleep by smacking my face at precisely 3 AM every morning during our trip to play. Meow!

Finding a vet like this is rare!…read more I can't say enough wonderful things about Newbridge Animal Hospital. I finally found a vet I completely trust, someone who loves pets just as much as I do! Her bedside manner is truly the best I've ever seen. She is remarkably caring, genuinely attentive, and incredibly reachable. In a time where it feels impossible to get a real person on the phone, she actually takes the time to return your calls and check in on your fur babies. To be honest, part of me was afraid to update this review because if too many people find out about how amazing she and her staff are, they might get completely flooded with appointments! But that's a risk I'm willing to take. It is so rare to find a veterinary team that genuinely cares for your pets with the same level of love and devotion that you do at home. If you're looking for compassionate, top-tier care for your pets, Newbridge Animal Hospital is second to none. Highly, highly recommend!

Who wants to have to travel across that bridge in traffic...not I said the fly! lol This location is about 15-mins from my house and I really like the location and has a large parking lot. So there is no issue for parking. The clinic is really clean and I loved that the veterinarian was a black woman. Jade gave them a run for their money for her flu shot and the blood draw. But I bet the vet will not forget her. I really did like that they gave me a call the next day to check in on Jade and the following day to tell me the results of her other tests she has that day. Will be going back to get my baby's teeth cleaned because her little breath be kicking...lol

0 stars! BEWARE! Veterinary Malpractice!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! I took my dog here in…read moreSeptember 2022 for an emergency visit for stomach issues and blood in the urine. His issue was not resolved and he came back with a broken back. I was told that they were going to take great care of my fur baby. THAT WAS LIE! I took him for an emergency visit because he was straining to pee, had blood in his urine, and not eating. THEY DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO BE WITH YOUR PET DURING THE VISIT. YOUR PET IS TAKEN IN THE BACK WHERE YOU CANT SEE WHATS GOING ON. They admitted my dog for treatment and when I picked him up he was sedated on pain medication (something that wasn't discussed prior to giving him the medication). When he woke up from the medication at home, he screamed in pain, I took him outside to use the bathroom that night, he immediately fell over, and could no longer walk! I called the vet the next morning and they told me that he was fine at the appointment. I knew something was wrong. I repeated asked did anything happen during his appointment and I was assured everything was alright. My baby was in extreme pain, his neck was stiff as if he has had a stroke. I called multiple time and finally spoke with Dr. Boyce, she told me to bring my dog in for more testing because he may have a tick-borne disease. I knew that wasn't right, he is on monthly preventative medication. They just wanted my money for useless testing. I called again and the vet finally told me that they had ran blood work on him and put him in the cage and when they removed him from the cage he was screaming anytime someone would touch him so they gave him pain medication. I want to know how much force they used when trying to restrict him for blood work, I want to know why this wasn't originally told to me when I ask what happened at his appointment instead of being pushed to pay for useless testing, I want to know why they didn't send him home with pain medication knowing that he was in extreme pain. On top of that, the reason for his visit wasn't resolved. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE. They injured my dogs back during his visit and failed to tell me what happened, I had to pry the information out of them. The recovery from this visit has cost me SO MUCH MONEY! I had to put my dog in a wheelchair and re-teach him how to walk. I have been spending $100 a week in acupuncture visits to fix his injured back for almost a year and we are still going through treatments! I now take my pet to Animal Center Watkins Park. At Watkins park, they found out that my dog had bladder stones (reason for blood in urine) and they recommended a new diet for his gastrointestinal issues. They also allow you to be in the same room during the visit and they recommended him to the neurologist that is fixing his back. APAW does not care about your pet and will injure your pet just to make a buck, BEWARE!

I arrived just a few minutes after closing, fully understanding that the hospital had officially closed. What was incredibly disappointing was that I stood outside knocking on the door for approximately five minutes while multiple staff members walked past the front windows. Several employees looked directly at me, made eye contact, and continued walking without acknowledging me or even coming to the door. I wasn't expecting anyone to reopen the hospital or stay late to see patients. I simply hoped that someone would take 30 seconds to ask if everything was okay or point me toward an emergency clinic or another resource. Instead, I was completely ignored. As a physician, I can't imagine seeing someone visibly asking for help just minutes after closing and not even acknowledging their presence. Even if the answer is "We're closed," basic compassion and professionalism go a long way. This experience left me deeply disappointed. I hope the practice reflects on how situations like this are handled in the future, because feeling completely ignored when seeking urgent help is not what anyone expects from a healthcare profession.

From the moment we walked into Brentwood Animal Hospital, everything felt different. Dr. Manzoor and the entire team treated Racer - the bestest boy cat - with extraordinary kindness and meticulous attention to detail. They didn't rush. They didn't dismiss concerns. They took the time to explain every aspect of his surgery and carefully walked me through his aftercare plan. That level of communication matters more than people realize. What truly touched my heart was the way the staff refers to me as "Racer's mom." It may seem like a small gesture, but it reflects something much bigger: a deep respect for the bond between pet and human. They see him as family, and they see me as part of his care team. Racer received loving, thoughtful, and highly competent care. For the first time since losing Queenie, I felt a genuine sense of safety inside a veterinary office again. If you are looking for a veterinary team that combines medical excellence with compassion and humanity, Brentwood Animal Hospital--and especially Dr. Manzoor--have my deepest gratitude and highest recommendation.
